I can’t really grasp the main point of the book. Audrey feels invisible and under appreciated by everyone so she starts stealing and doing all these weird things to be more seen. All throughout the book everyone is pointing out that she is chubby, she is always annoyed by her neighbour who doesn’t seem that bad and her rabbit is mentioned way too many times.
Also, was expecting a light read and then I get all this heavy stuff from her past that MAYBE could explain her present a bit, but again didn’t seem like the main point either.
Conclusion: I didn’t like Audrey, I get why she wasn’t liked by many people lol.
Firstly, this is the second book I have read which should have a trigger warning but does not. What started off as quite a fun read quickly took a turn.
Apart from the heavy stuff, I loved it and found it well written and often very funny. Would recommend but be aware that the topic of SA is written about.
