Persephone is trying to live the simple life as a barista in the small town of Starsfalls. When a chance encounter presents an opportunity for Seph to help her favorite bookstore, she jumps at it.
But things don’t go according to plan. Seph is a self-proclaimed beta who has spent her life avoiding alphas, and working with a hunky alpha architect is not what she signed on for.
Unfortunately for her, alphas are like bobby pins. They multiply and show up everywhere. Soon the alpha architect is joined by his packmates, who hang around the bookstore, and Seph. This poses a problem, because Seph has a big secret that no one would ever guess (or at least that's what she thinks) and now it’s at risk of getting out.
When someone tries to sabotage Seph’s new job, she has to decide if she can trust an alpha (or five).
There’s the handy architect alpha. The energetic, fiery alpha with golden retriever energy. An uptight business alpha who could be persuaded to let loose. The bookish alpha professor, who has a sensitive side. And the billionaire, brooding alpha with a checkered past.
But no matter what, she’s definitely not falling for them.
Knot Falling for You is a standalone why choose romcom. It’s part of the Starsfalls Omegaverse, where HEAs are guaranteed in this cozy small town. This is a spicy, slow burn, slice of life romance with one FMC who is the focus of her alpha MMC fated mates. Knot Falling for You is part of a series of standalone novels that can be enjoyed without reading the rest of the series. See Content Warnings at the start of the book for the spice content and possible triggers.
I felt pretty apathetic about this book for the most part. There didn't seem to be a lot of plot substance to this book. The FMC thinks she has everyone fooled that she's a beta, but is apparently not fooling anyone. Except for the pack she is matched with, of course. Total strangers know, but these guys can't figure it out. The big reason she uprooted her life and is hiding as a beta FOR YEARS? Poof it goes away after a few minutes with the person who caused it. The conflict with the vendor who is harassing her, poof, it was just a misunderstanding and is resolved in seconds. Becoming homeless? No, that's gone, too. Its like all these conflicts were being set up as plotlines, but then fizzle out. Just... meh.
This was such a sweet Omegaverse story, filled with great angst and a heartfelt redemption arc for one of the alphas. Persephone was a brilliant and independent omega, living her life as quietly as possible by masking as a beta. She had come to terms with the belief that alphas were only interested in one thing when it came to omegas control.
But watching Persephone realize she might have been wrong about alphas and their true intentions, especially one alpha in particular, was everything. Seeing how they pampered and cherished her was so satisfying!
🎧 Audiobook Review 🎧 Dual Narration Narrated by Denver Adams and Casie Eller
As someone who hasn’t listened to these two narrators enough, I was thrilled to see their names announced for this book! It instantly put this story on my radar, and it was perfect. Denver did an incredible job balancing the distinct personalities of each alpha, while Casie was the perfect sweet and strong Persephone. I absolutely loved it and can’t wait for more of this series!
I'm not sure if I've ever read what I would coin "cozy omegaverse" until Knot Falling for You. This was a silly, cute, low-stakes, with a couple big steamy moments, story about a little awkward, a very oblivious omega who meets her fated mates when she's hired to help remodel a greenhouse... because of course our little barista is a plant lady. Read this if you want a silly, goofy time. I'm excited to see what else Winnie Aster comes up with, because she is hilarious! Debut story!
Winnie is a new to me author - I gave this book a try because I'm in a major omegaverse romance binge right now (lol) and this one mentioned having my favorite things: books/bookstore, coffee, and pumpkin spice.
I really enjoyed the pack and the different personalities in each guy along with their unique connections to Seph and each other.
Story 3.5⭐️ Spice 2.75🌶️ What to say about this book… It was very sweet and extremely low angst. The conflict was minimal and somewhat trivial. There are some editing mistakes, but it doesn’t detract from the story too much. In the description the book is called MMFMMM, but there is no MM, so it’s actually MFMMMM. With 5 guys, it can sometimes be difficult to keep them straight, but the author does a good job of giving them all very distinct personalities. The book is not super long, but it is longer than it needed to be. I feel like there is some pointless filler. Overall I enjoyed the story and I hope the author will continue to grow as a writer.
Okay this was just too cute! I loved our FMC. She’s quirky in a good way hahah. Her “I’m definitely not blushing” is obviously that she is blushing. “I’m getting red because it’s genes not because of the hike” 🤣 I can’t with this girl. I just loved her thinking and her attitude. It works as she was a foster kid. I loved her innocent self at times though she was independent so don’t think she was helpless(there were times but we all have those times)
I loved her reactions of meeting her scented alphas one by one and just how obsessed but respectful they were.
I loved all their personalities. They all cared for one another as well. They supported one another!
Overall the book was good and I highly recommend to fellow omegaverse lovers 💜
This was such a cute read! Very cozy and very sweet! If you like cozy, small town romances and omegaverse, this is your next read.
I think this is one of the books that you read at the right mood. It was perfect for the fall and I was just eating up the romances! The alpha were so cute. I loved how each of them had their own personality and had a way to balance the entire pack. Absolutely adored that they loved Seph as their center of the pack.
The plot is pretty simple but that's okay because you really focus on the relationship developing between the pack. Super cute and had me giggling because the fmc is relatable🥰
this was a sweet omegaverse about an omega named Persephone who is hiding as a beta but runs into her scent matches. a pretty standard omegaverse story.
it took me a bit to get used to the authors writing. Persephone talked a lot to herself in her own mind. and there was a lot of long monologues from all the characters. i also wish some other things were flushed out more, like what her scent is??? i also don’t think we found out any of their ages.
MFMMMM multi POV scent matches bonding marks 2nd chance group scenes knotting heat scene DP DVP no OW/OM drama no pregnancy HEA
I enjoyed this book, it was cute and very low angst.
It did take a while to get used to the authors writing style and I didn’t love the FMC, her thoughts were all over the place and the way she spoke bugged me. But I did enjoy the men, their characters were great.
Some of the main plot points got brushed over quite quickly, like seeing a certain alpha again, it should have been more.
It was a decent read where nothing dramatic really happens. So if you want an Omega who fumbles over herself and some cute alphas then read it.
That being said, it was a very light read and not in-depth. The fmc has opposition that she just magically solves and gets over within hours, like hiding she's an omega because of past hurts, but she able to get over it and sleep with the guy within hours. Also, "they are taking things slowly" and one of her reasons for hiding who she was for years was because of packs not letting omegas have their own life. But then she sleeps with them within hours of starting to date them, and then moves in with them right away, and is never allowed to be alone even to shower, from that moment on. Yeah she goes to work, but they drive her to work, pick her up, and she's with coworkers, she's not alone.
All in all, if you're looking for a fall themed book, it's worth reading.

I just loved this book! Recently, it seems like so many Omegaverse books are super dark, and this one was just sweet and refreshing!
Seph, our FMC, is adorable and honestly, pretty funny. Her baked goods obsession literally had me laughing out loud at times. She is sweet and fun and her growing relationship with her alphas is heartwarming and fun to watch.
The alphas were a mix of quirky and fun loving characters. Fynn and his fire obsession were my favorite, again making me laugh throughout the book. Phoenix and Basel were sweet caretakers and Roman and Salem completed Seph’s needs. I adored this pack, and their story.
Sometimes you just need a sweet Omegaverse story that doesn’t have a ton of angst, and this book definitely delivered!
This was such a overall sweet read. If you like things on the water side of the Omega virus this would be a really great start.i love Fynn. I always love a character like him that's obsessed and absolutely Head over heels and a little crazy. I love Nix too. I'm going to run across this author and is able to follow her cuz I would love to read more of her books. That being said I highly recommend to add to your TBR
Definitely pure fluff with no conflict whatsoever. Not being sarcastic, that's literally what this is.
I try and reserve my two stars and lower for books that have rape and things like that in them, not books that were just...eye rollingly boring. So three stars, even though it really deserves two. The FMC was so incredibly hard to deal with and put up with that I really didn't enjoy the book. Add the fact that it had absolutely no drama or conflict, and it just was boring and unbelievable. There was so much internal monologue from the FMC that I was skipping paragraphs regularly in an attempt to end it faster.
The Plot The FMC, Seph, takes a bunch of blockers to make herself appear as a beta. Nobody believes she is one, except for the MMCs (completely unbelievable but ok). She somehow has an apartment even though she only works part-time at a coffee shop (completely unbelievable but ok). She happens to talk to a woman about plants, and that woman hires her to not only renovate her antique greenhouse but also to be in charge of it and create a booth for the upcoming festival (completely unbelievable and no longer ok). They need an architect to come in and make sure the building is restored correctly, enter Basel (one of the MMCs), who meets Seph and knows she's the one (even though he can't smell her and is only looking at her from across the room). During the work, his packmates come to meet the girl of their dreams, and she tries to lie to herself that she isn't into them, even though they are her scent matches. A girl threatens her, but that goes nowhere, comes out of nowhere, is ridiculous, and is resolved instantly. She has a scare about being evicted, which, again, comes out of nowhere and is ridiculous. And again, it's taken care of instantly.
The Characters Seph is beyond irritating. I get that she was written as someone with ADHD, but holy crap does she make up the most insane reasoning and BS scenarios. There is so much monologuing that it would have been pretty easy to take those and create real drama with them instead. She mentions food and smells more than she mentions the fact that she just lost her home.
Basel smells like old books and lemon scones. He's sweet and takes his time with Seph in getting to know her. I have no idea what he looks like or how old he is (actually, I have no idea how old any of the characters are).
Nix smells like a pumpkin cookie, is the alpha of the group, spends the beginning of the book moping, and the last thanking Seph for her forgiveness.
Roman smells like apple pie and is the first one to make a move on Seph. He's the take-charge type but isn't a BA.
Fynn is slightly unhinged, yet a puppy; it's weird. Like he wants to burn everything and has problems with physical boundaries, but never does anything. He smells like smoke and marshmallows because, of course, he does.
Salem is the book nerd who smells like leaves and peppercorns? Yeah.
Knocking off one of the guys would have given more character growth for each of them instead of spreading it so thin over five guys.
The Romance Well, it was insta-love for the guys and insta-lust for her. She wanted to jump their bones immediately while they were all planning on how to court her slowly. The bond finally happened at 94%, which felt way too late for that, given they were scent matches and had been through a heat together. Speaking of which, the heats are said to come every few months, and yet at the end of the book, it said it had been like 6 months since they all met. So, where was her other heat? Was she on birth control? Nobody asks her, and she doesn't mention it. If her matches make her suppresants not work, then does that mean her BC (if she had any) wouldn't work too? Probably something they should have discussed.
There's nothing wrong with fluff. I like fluff because it calms the nerves after reading things like dark romance, mafia romances, etc. But there HAS to be conflict. If everything just falls into place, it isn't believable or enjoyable. You want the readers to root for the MCs, but there was nothing to root for here. Plus, the "problem" that was here came out of nowhere and wasn't believable at all.
I hate leaving a bad review for this book because I REALLY wanted to see where it went. Which is why I read as far as I did even though it was a struggle.
Unfortunately there is sooo much telling instead of showing. While each character has a whole chapters worth of inner monologue they also just describe what is happening around them instead of actually showing the conversation and having them be a part of it. Not only was most of the inner monologue unnecessary but it just made the story a bit boring.
Also... the fmc is probably one of the most ignorant characters I've ever read about. It so obvious that everyone around her knows that she is an omega yet she is constantly telling herself "they must not be talking about that because I NEVER told them." Even though they are literally directly calling her an omega... It just got annoying by the tenth time with the same two people.
And it wasn't just that... the entire scene with the ghost in the bookstore thing just came off so childlike? Instead of thinking "hey there is another person back here" her immediate thought is a ghost.. and then a statue? What? It was frankly annoying to read. "I look back at the statue that has ahold of me and realize it's just an alpha.." you don't say...
She also admits that "a small minority believe omegas belong to alphas" pg 58 but has lived her whole life hiding who she is and is treating these men pretty horribly when all they have done is prove they don't treat people like that? Her FIRST interaction with a man she doesn't know involves him holding out his hand to introduce himself and when he asks if she doesn't shake she replies "No, I'm not a dog trained to follow your commands." pg 44. If I heard someone reply that way I would be mortified on her behalf.
It's all very confusing. Again, it comes off almost childlike. She is unable to see reason. (Not to mention the amount of times she calls herself a businesswoman... she thinks VERY highly of herself for doing ANYTHING on her own...)
Then there is these lines..
"I'm off to meet my mate-I mean coworker-" "Unfortunately-I mean fortunately" "Reluctantly letting go of his arm. I mean happily letting go." "without ever having to leave my nest. I mean bed." "daydreams, I mean planning" "an omega, I mean a beta." "He's waiting for my approval, I mean response." "What dampened my pants. I mean spirits"
Literally so freaking annoying... this is only some of the times where she has to "correct" herself. It's obnoxious.
Similarly..
"I reply primly, and not with a squeaky voice" "It's because he's overbearing, and not because I'm so embarrassed my face must be glowing" "Only because I really like autumn, It has nothing to do with him as an alpha."
Again.. I know she is trying to delude herself but as a reader it just comes off so immature to have these as her internal thoughts. It's also part of the reason the book is so boring. It's like we have to read everything twice. Once or twice would have been fine but it was sooo repetitive.

Woof this was a bad read. First person writing can be hard to do well, and this was NOT done well. I think the author wanted the FMC to seem innocent and sweet, but she just came off as extremely immature and juvenile. That aside, there were some major issues with character development in this book; namely, that there was none. For example, we know the FMC was raised in foster care, but that’s literally the only thing we know about her childhood (aside from meeting a MMC as a child). How did being raised in foster care influence who she is today? What was that experience like? Does she mourn the loss of a traditional childhood or is she at peace with her past? We will never know. This is just one small example of how underdeveloped the characters are. We don’t even know the ages and occupations of all the primary love interests. All of the characters are completely two dimensional.
My other primary complaint about this book is that the author chose not to navigate one of the main plot lines. In the first half of the book, the FMC is hiding (very poorly, btw) her omega designation and is attempting to keep a cautious distance with the MMC’s who she is scent matched with. This is all because she has a chip on her shoulder about something the final MMC (whom she met in childhood but at this point has not yet crossed paths with in this story) said when they were kids. Then, in the space of literally one chapter, like 10 pages, the FMC meets the final MMC, forgives him completely despite letting their childhood altercation dictate her every move for YEARS, connects with the rest of the MMC’s, agrees to be courted by them, and then they all have sex. I hate, hate, HATE it when authors use an omega’s “heat” to create intimacy; it’s lazy and awkward. In this case, it was also completely out of place. What was the point of the entire first half of the book if you’re not even going to take us through a major plot development?? It’s just bad writing and poor storytelling.
My recommendation is to save your time on this read.

I read a lot and the vast majority of those books are categorized as fluff fiction but this is so fluffy absurdly ridiculous and unrealistic it makes most other books seem like real life stories. The antagonist is just some whiney wench and collapses like a house of cards minute someone scolds her. The FMC has a perfectly rational aversion to alpha men but whipped cream would hold up to 100° weather better than she did to the MMCs. Seph somehow supports herself in a two bedroom, 2 bath apartment on part time barista pay and has no trouble paying medical bills without the specialized insurance she claims is common in society. The guy's idea of a gift is buying chairs for her workplace which she does not own or work in regularly (her greenhouse contract was originally consulting on the return only, not long term involvement). The entire story has an odd time warp feeling to it. Did they manage this in three weeks or was it more like three months? We really can't tell because the author puts in time frame references that contradict. The language is all very simplistic, the characters are written puddle deep, and there is so much random inconsequential blathering that I'm pretty sure this 320 page story could have been told much more satisfyingly in 120 pages. And I have to loop back to Seph. She is a terrible main character. She's oblivious, unintelligent, uninteresting and spaces out every five seconds no matter what she is doing, where she is, or who she's near. Somehow we are expected to believe that this woman managed to get herself moved across the country to escape a scary boy as a child in foster care (note that Flynn was in a constant cycle of unsafe, potentially abusive foster homes around the same time) but as an adult she can't manage a snarky phone call from a stranger without an emotional breakdown that leaves her clinging to the very people she was, rightly, scared to get close to? Did she get a personality transplant with her new foster placement?
Im about 50% through but want to get my thoughts out while I finish. I hate giving a rating below a 4. I know how hard people work on these books and put so much of themselves into them. When I first started the book. I thought our FMC, Seph seemed pretty strong and mature. On her own, trying to make it far from where she is from. Then I realized her trauma stems from a little boy telling her things he was regurgitating from his parents. In her entire life, she never once questioned those negative thoughts despite seeing that they were not real. It really made me go what the heck, her brain didnt grow up in all that time? So she steadfast holds to these beliefs as far as denying her omega nature until she runs into her other scent matches. Even seeing how kind they all are she still holds onto it. Till she mistakenly calls one of them and the young boy from her childhood ( also a scent match) picks up the phone and comes to her rescue. In a few minutes of explaining how he was wrong/grown up she forgives him and then it erases ALL her entire adult life of holding fast to this specific belief. Poof, just gone. Many things she says strike me as very immature for her age. Almost like she is 18 not mid 20s which makes me think the author herself may be quite young. Its totally fine, just the immature way of thinking throws me off. its decently written ( im more then half way) a few typos here and there which dont bug me really. I do feel like with such a big male harem that you loose some of your male character definition. Like they are all great and pretty individual but you don't see enough of each of them. Leaving you wandering a bit more about them.
I kept reading mostly because I wanted to know who the "bad guy" was starting a feud. The rest of the story kinda faded for me.

I’m so sorry I don’t know if it was me or what but I could not finish this book. I made it to 60%. I think it has great potential if it’s ever rewritten but as it is now I just can’t finish it. I think the FMC is meant to be kind of “quirky and goofy” but it was too much. The amount of times I rolled my eyes and said this girl is an idiot is wild. And it’s not just her it’s the MMCs and other side characters. The author tried to make it like a quirky small town but just went wayyyy too far imo. There also was so much internal monologue and description of things that did not matter or further the story. The FMC is supposed to be so terrified of alphas that she suppressed herself and basically hid all these years from something a little kid said to her? And then said alpha who made her fearful all those years ago shows up, does one small thing and all of the sudden she’s like he’s a great guy? What. It’s a ridiculous and immature conflict. Same with the new conflict the pops up with another booth operator. It’s silly in a bad way.
There was not enough description of the individual guys. Like at first yes but then it just turns into a blob of man. That could have just been me skimming to try to get through it.
Overall I really do think this has potential to be a great read. Just pull back on some of the kookiness and trying to be a quirky girl and less random internal monologuing. It kills me to DNF a book but I could not go any further.
DNF 14%. Started off with a nice playful irreverence, but my smile quickly faded as it went a bit overboard. The punchlines were extended and toyed with to the point where any humor was ruined.
The conversations are very strange. Very uncanny, in a convenient exchange of information without any realism, type of way.
Trying way too hard to be breezy, even in internal contemplation, and overshooting its way into rambling. Endlessly playful to the point of idiocy. It needs the balance of normalcy to make the levity positively impactful.
I just want to grab the author by the shoulders and say, “Chill.”
A greenhouse attached to a bookstore would be a logistical moldy nightmare. If they’re going for cottage core, it’s perfect. Free spores with every purchase.
Everyone speaks either with rigid formality or entire paragraphs of nonsense, ostensibly intended to be endearing.
It’s like it was written by a butterfly. Vaguely touching on content before overreacting to an errant breeze and bolting away, superficial wings taking it nowhere fast.
The guys are awful as well - mottled caricatures of familiar stereotypes. Their stilted interactions physically pained me and I couldn’t make myself suffer through any more of it.
When I saw I was only at 14%, I almost cried.
I tried. I really did. I think there’s a good idea in there, but every small thing was so over the top that I had enough before I’d barely begun.
This was a very sweet book, but a little boring. There isn’t much happening in the plot, which is fine, but there are a few “dramatic” plot points that just fizzle out. The traumatic, incident that makes the FMC seek out the MMCs is…brace yourself…someone calling her and accusing her of stealing her ideas for a harvest festival. GASP. And I can safely make light of it because despite the amount of real estate this plot line takes up in the book, it’s literally resolved cus this other chick accidentally misunderstood an overheard conversation. Boom. Solved. But the narrative treats this like a suspenseful side plot, and it’s just so boring. There’s also a secondary character who is obsessed with cowboy romance, which is cute in a world-building, fleshing out side characters way, but again, a LOT of details are given about the cowboy series she likes and why she likes it and then *gasp* the series is over and she’s devastated but then *happy gasp* PLOT TWIST! There’s a new series by the same author coming out!!
This all sounds very snarky, I know. But this is a book where basically nothing happens, the conflicts aren’t really conflicts, and it’s not funny or romantic enough to be considered a romantic comedy. YMMV, but I don’t think this author is for me.

Winnie Aster has now been added to my cozy author list. I fell so deeply in love with the cozy atmosphere of "Knot Falling for You" with the cozy shops, apple orchards, bookstore, and a greenhouse. I did not want to leave this universe and all its sweetness.
Persephone was a beautiful character. Her soul was pure, and I could not help but smile whenever she was on the pages. Even when she was fighting against her designation, she could not help but let her omega shine through. She was feminine and just had this joy about her. Her happiness brought so many smiles to my face.
I adored her men so much. I loved how they fell head over heels for her right away. She became their whole world in a matter of seconds. It was so cute watching them do everything to make her happy. They all had unique qualities that drew me in. My favourite, though, was Flynn; he was so much fun and had this unpredictable nature about him that had me swooning.
I'm so in love with this universe, and I cannot wait to read more of this series when Winnie Aster releases it and more of what Winnie Aster writes. She is an incredible author and one I will be keeping my eye on.
I mean my title in the kindest way but the FMC feels extremely juvenile in how she acts and her inner monologue. It felt like she was 16 years old and not a 20+ year old woman. The constant “professional business women” thoughts were just annoying in the end.
Overall the book was extremely fluffy and extremely low conflict. It felt like the FMC was naive in almost all things and quickly got over her emotional hang ups within a conversation. It felt like such a non-issue. The other conflict in the book was such a silly conflict and had such a silly cause that it was boring leading up to that part and boring at the resolution. I almost wish the conflicts had been flipped to her getting over her emotional issues and the guys proving it instead of the end issue of the book.
I am okay with fluff, I don’t need anything gritty but this was so fluffy it felt like cotton candy that didn’t taste good and rot my teeth. I can see some people liking this, but.. to me it was just boring.
My complaints about the book are petty, but I feel like I griped to my e-reader enough that it warranted a review. The story itself was well written with great use of vocabulary and hardly any errors. My first complaint was there were a lot of filler pages. I don’t need to read three pages of possible future stall decoration ideas. And there were many instances of this where it was just random rambling paragraphs dedicated to random thoughts about things that really didn’t pertain directly to the story. My second complaint is the conflict with someone saying she was copying their stall. They acted like this person was threatening her life. The over blown dramatization of a simple petty problem made the whole situation seem ridiculous. The initial issue of running from a possible abusive alpha was swept away very quickly with hardly any real effort to actually work through it, and that was a more plausible conflict.
The paragraph structure needs to be redone. Larger paragraphs are fine but when it’s 95% of the paragraphs in each chapter, it makes people want to skip over them. If they were broken down I’m pretty sure I would have enjoyed this book so much more but the rambled paragraphs killed the book for me. I loved the MMCs personalities. Especially Fynn (even though I kept calling him Flynn haha) and Salem. The MFC on the other hand got on my nerves. The fact that she was anti-alpha over a conversation she had as a child just seemed like too much of a reach. Maybe if an adult told her the things that Phoenix said but with Nix also being a child himself, it’s silly to hold onto that conversation and go to the lengths that she went. The spice was half written in a scene or two, meaning 1-2 got in on the action and then the chapter ended but didn’t pick up on the next chapter even though all of the alphas were present. Just wasn’t for me.
This book was so cozy ✨ It was quite a step down from the high-stakes intensity of fantasy and dark romance that I’m used to, and I definitely needed the cozy small town coffee shop vibes this book gave off.
The fmc is quirky and funny, maybe a little irritating at times for ignoring her own nature, but once her mates step in, and the tension starts tensioning, it was so nice to watch her carefully built walls crumple 🤣🤭
There was so much plot (unlike some omegaverse, which is FINE, sometimes we are just there for the OTHER kind of plot, ya know) but this had an entire story, cute characters, and even a little town to go with it. It reminded me of my own small town I grew up in and made me a little reminiscent.
The jokes were always good and never overdone, and its was a nice calm in the storm that I’m feeling these days.
This is such a cozy omegaverse read. Obviously, the FMC doesn't have to choose and gets all of the love she deserves. Seph is a bit of a delulu omega with a bad exposure to alphas at a young age leading to her hiding her omega designation. The introduction to each member of the pack was its own "meet cutes". I'm a total sucker for those. Flynn was definitely one of my favorites buts that's because I love a chaotic, obsessive man. I loved the description and design of everything for the fall festival. I wanted to be able to visit it! I also loved that the bonding was given sufficient attention instead of a quick little passover. And just wait until you read about origin of the pack name and how it ties everything into a pretty little bow. *swoooon* Can't wait to see who the next story in the series is about.
“Knot Falling for You” by Winnie Astor is the perfect blend of sweet and spicy. Persephone (Seph) is doing just fine and doesn't need a man or an Alpha. The Goldenrod pack is a lovely group of protective and handsome guys who all fall for her together and separately. “Knot Falling for You” greatly emphasizes maintaining your independence in a relationship and showcases how a healthy family helps everyone achieve their goals. I loved the whole pack and appreciated Astor highlighting each main character's personality, anxieties, and strengths. There is a slow start to an intense explosion of delicious spice. I also loved the small town fall festival vibes; they are so cozy!!! Excited for the next Omegaverse book in Astor’s adorable ‘Starsfalls’ series!
I really enjoyed the humor, puns, and awkward interactions in this book. Seph had me laughing out loud at her antics at times. The pack is also very sweet and fun. It’s a low-stress sweet story that will make you crave all things fall.
While I really enjoyed the book, the pacing could be a bit better. A few of the obstacles in the book felt a bit random and popped up suddenly. Things also felt like they were wrapping up only to have 20% of the book left.
Spice wise, there’s a lot of spice in the second half of the book. Things were pretty straight forward, although scenes with 6 bodies sometimes made me pause to reread (there’s a lot of limbs and knots to keep track of!) overall, I’d say it’s a 4 pepper read.
This was a very cozy omegaverse read! Starsfalls was the absolute cutest small town! I want to immediately pack up and live there. Seph was such a fun and quirky FMC! Due to some childhood circumstances, she has been trying to hide her omega designation, and for the most part it works… until she accepts a new job restoring a greenhouse with her scent matches.
The men in the Goldenrod pack are top tier! Fynn might’ve been my favorite (the soft but slightly crazy ones always are), but Roman, Basel, Nix, and Salem are all so great too! Supportive and just overall typical hot alpha shit ya know?
✨ MFMMMM ✨ They fall first ✨ Scent matches ✨ Rekindled childhood crush ✨ Cozy small town ✨ Fluffy warm read ✨ Surprise heat ✨ DP, sq*irting, DVP
