I adore the concept of these books to begin with, and have enjoyed the others we have read. This particular one really seems to capture the joy you see in a happy dog. The narration is exactly what I would expect a pup to say. Much fun to read.

Perfect for reading to preschoolers or for level 2 readers. The illustrations are adorable. I loved this little rescue story.

I likes McKinley. But how be surprised by puppies? I likes da puppies Coco and Jack best 'cause I has cousins named Coco and Jackson. McKinley is real dog. She lucky to have book about her.
