Karate Is For Me is a book that I picked up as part of a group of books that were bought. My granddaughter found this book particularly stimulating and it has been one of the sources for her desire to undertake studying Karate. After my granddaughter's favorable comments I read it too and found that it has a nice wholesome story about learning karate but more importantly it subtlety taught valuable lessons on the humanistic values of karate. This book did not as so many others stress the violent potential in karate but more the potential for self-improvement and fun in learning this ancient martial art.
