Bellingwood #47

Stories of Love & Family

Rate this book
Friday night, she found a body. That should be enough for one woman. Not if you're Polly Giller.

Monday's vandalism, discovering a car in the ditch, a call from the high school about one of her boys, a Molotov cocktail in the Sturtz's back yard, and finally, a furious Cassidy. Is this enough? We're getting close.

The vandals suddenly step up their game, and everyone in town is nervous about who they'll hit next. What is going on and why are they targeting Bellingwood and its environs?

When Polly meets the mother of the murder victim, how can she help but become involved? The poor woman needs to know that she isn't alone. Since her family can't be bothered to come to Bellingwood, Polly is on tap to help clean out an apartment. No one was prepared for what they were about to discover.

Bellingwood is never boring, and neither is Polly's life. Whether she's caring for strangers, spending time with her friends, or loving her family, something is always going on. She wouldn't have it any other way. Life and all that it brings is important.

Welcome back to Bellingwood.

This one, as well, does not disappoint :)

Just in time for a Christmas Eve read, I'm whisked away on another fantastic adventure -- authors like Diane just amaze me -- keeping story lines straight with dozens of characters, personalities, you name it, going from book to book, allowing them to grow up, move on in life, have fascinating journeys along the way, oh, you get it. Not ONE of her books or short stories has disappointed...you are indeed a rock star, Diane Greenwood Muir!

I always read this series cover to cover the day they come out, or the next day at least. However they usually don't come out on Christmas eve. It was hard to put it down to attend to Santa things and cooking things. and family things... but I did. I started it over so I could get the whole picture uninterrupted, twice, but, well it was the holidays and that was impossible. Finally, I was able to finish it and can say that once again Diane has written a thriller. Yes, in more ways than one for certain. I loved it.

Bellingwood turned upside down.

Polly just can't get away from unexpected things happening. She gives Kayla a ride home and finds a dead girl. Then there is vandalism that starts at the community center, which really upsets everyone that has done work with it. But it doesn't stop there is goes around the town. The pastor's wife is injured in a car accident also. Read this series and find out what happens, Polly is quite busy.

Stories of Love & Family indeed

These are so much more than a murder mystery, there are always reminders of what is important in life. Sharing stories of love and family, giving grace and forgiveness, and working out how to make the world a better place. This is a must buy, eagerly anticipated series. Looking forward already to the next!

One of the best!

I don’t know how she does it, but Diane continues to write books that are better and better and better. I think this is one of the best ones in the series and I just love how it ended. If you’re new to Bellingwood, my advice is to start back at the first book and enjoy them all.

Another amazing interesting Polly story

As always I expect the murder. I never know how it will happen but it will happen. As for every thing else happening, that was unexpected. The unexpected is part of what keeps me coming back. All the goings on in Polly's family and world is the other part. If you are looking for books to read this series will keep you coming back.

Excellent

Love Ms. Muir's books; I actually laughed out loud while reading it. Lydia, Andy and Beryl reminds me of a close friend that I lost a few years ago. Janie would be right there with them. Or I could see her as Beryl. These books have become family and makes me homesick for Iowa, my home state.

When you need to step away from life and take a deep breath, these are the stories to reach for. There are a LOT of characters to keep track of and that can be a little frustrating/intimidating. Usually, they are explained at some point in the story. You won't regret going to Bellingwood and meeting them though!

Stories of Love and Family

I love this series of books. I love being in Polly's world. I feel like they are real people, and wish I lived in Bellingwood. I don't always like the bad stuff going on, but it is interesting with Polly helping to catch the bad guys.

Another wonderful addition to the Bellingwood Series. Polly is juggling her family and work life as well as trying to find out what happened to a young girl she found dead.
And who is causing all this vandalism around town?
Don’t miss this.

excellent

No spoilers from me but this 47th (!) book will make you laugh and possibly cry. Once you start to read you won’t want to stop. You could read the this as. Stand-alone by why deprive yourself of the other 46 books?
Thoroughly recommend all 47 books.
