Никой не ме е питал дали искам да живея на Камъка. И все пак моята зигота бе сред десетте хиляди бъдещи колонисти, чиято съдба бе да превърнат чуждата планета в свой дом.

Изминаха четиридесет години от кацането на Зародиша. През това време ние се развивахме под неуморните очи на Родителите. Борихме се да изградим своя утопия. Куполът, който обгръща Котилото, създава идеални условия за живот. Но дали това е достатъчно?

За нас, обитателите на Котилото, планетарна ограниченост не съществува. В нашето общество парите са понятие от древната земна история, чийто смисъл никога няма да разберем.

На Камъка аз усетих топлината на любовта, приятелството и подкрепата. Но също така и огорчението от предателството. Водих множество битки срещу моите братя и сестри, срещу обстоятелствата и срещу моята съдба. Но най-голямата битка тепърва предстои - срещу това, в което мога да се превърна.

Ние създадохме нашия Рай. А дали някой ще успее да се измъкне от него?

My name is Oliver and my favorite question is “What if.. ?” I enjoy exploring the mind games that push the boundaries of reality. My passion is reading and writing fiction that defies the rules of our world, because reality is too boring to stick to when it comes to having fun. Our potential to break free from the framework of reality, at least in our dreams and nightmares, is as vast as the universe.

The plot is great, the characters are recognizable before and beyond the borders of our planet, the language is dynamic, provocative... A classic utopia-dystopia that left me very impressed. I haven't read anything so good in the genre in this day and age!

If you want a good sci-fi utopia read, this is the right book for you. At first glance it can look like a total fiction but the deeper you read, you will realize that the ideas aren’t just distant hypotheticals but reflections of the world we’re shaping right now.

The book has compelling storytelling and is full of characters, who reveal the price and benefits of a future “perfect” society.

If you enjoy sci-fi that explores the future but also feels familiarly "humane", don't miss out on this one.

A book you read in one breath. Unexpected turn overs and captivating story keeps the reader impatient about what comes next. Very in-depth reflection on the society evolution under what seems to be the perfect environment shows another point of view of what an individual is capable of and how one person can impact the faith of many others.

A beautifully written sci-fi tale that blends utopia with unease. The story feels both idyllic and haunting. Interesting characters and deepening story as you progress. Definitely not a book to read before going to sleep, as you won't get enough of it.
