This is the first “Border Wall” manga I’ve read. The illustrations are excellent, the story interesting. My only beef is the somewhat “unfinished” ending. The story focuses on the supernatural happenings at a private immigration prison on the US-Mexico border. The events—without ruining the plot for future readers—involve undocumented immigrants, border guards, the local sheriff, private contractors, and local residents who represent all sides of the political spectrum. The ancient gods have been disturbed and bad things start happening. . . The manga is partially bilingual but if you don’t speak Spanish, there’s helpful interpretation provided.
