Look, Amaya said he beat the 😻 like '94 Mike Tyson in the ring and I loves it for her. Feeling a little down about those extra 50lbs post baby weight her man Meekah, lion shifter extraordinaire, decides to show her that her body is talking. This is a short read. It was pitch-perfect. Like peeling back a curtain into a small moment with these two characters within a larger series and larger conflicts. Tessa Stone just keeps getting better and better with each entry, but she truly shines bright when working with lower page numbers. Her novellas and short stories are a treat to be delighted. Don't worry fam this book is just as freaky nasty as the others 😆. Meekah made sure there were no more doubts left.

For some reason, I thought Meekah was already mated to someone so when I saw this book, I was really confused.

This was a cute lil story. Tessa Stone did her one two with it buuuut I didn’t like it as much as the other books in the Wintermoon series (or the Fated Mates series). I thought the pacing, meet cute, and the self awareness of the characters were really good but idk. It might just be Meekah 🤷🏾‍♀️

I thought his appearance in “Claiming Gabriel” was slightly funny because the grudge was ridiculous but him in “Stalking Lauren” was just ugh. And Meekah explained his actions but some of the stuff he did in this book also rubbed me the wrong way. Shit, I might be a lion shifter because it feels like I’m holding a grudge now 😂

I really liked Amaya and the background Tessa gave her. It was an interesting perspective. Although she studied lion shifters out of curiosity, Amaya was raised by radicals and was surrounded by them so she was taught some f*cked up, false stuff about the shifters’ habits. Amaya is the only FMC in each series who was fearful once she got to Wintermoon. I liked reading about her unlearning the things she was taught.

All in all, “Taking Amaya” is a good book…it’s just ranked the lowest in the series for me

Meekah and that tail of his .. 😍🔥
I’m really enjoying these series of novels and short stories from Tessa Stone. I loved Meekah and the alpha that he was. I liked Amaya as well, and the fact that she had been interested/curious about lion shifters, even with her families radical views and her upbringing. Meekah didn’t play about her from the jump and I loved that for her.

I loved this book, it was amazing to see another shifter group from Wintermoon, that wasn't wolf or dragon.

I loved Meekah and Amaya, I wish this were longer. I would have loved to read more about them spending time together and falling in love.

Also, would have loved to read about her meeting the rest of the pride and how they met their mates. Also about her building a friendship with the Ash clan since they work together.

Can't wait to see what comes next for the pride.

This was cute. I'm aware it was a short story. But I wish Amaya would have been stronger and held out longer since she was taken against her will. A little more resistance to drag the story out. He was willing to give her the world be cause he knew he acted out of greed so quickly.

Meekah know he got on my nerves. But im so glad he apologized for what he did. I really enjoyed how Amaya just embraced the Zohar Pride. She never had any doubt for real. I love their story. a quick read.

Super cute paranormal romance novella. It’s not as spicy as the other books my Tessa but it still packs of punch. I truly enjoy being immersed in the Wintermoon World. Can’t wait to see what’s next.

Meekah is the typical Lion, headstrong, hardheaded, hotheaded and stubborn. Thank goodness Amaya finally came around to tame him.
