If you are a reader who enjoys your MFM romances to be both dark & interracial then this is the novella for you.

However, a lot about this book missed the mark for me:
-the ambiguity of the races for the MMCs
-the over referencing of eye color (take a shot every time the FMC says “stormy grey eyes”) & the “gingerbread” skin tone of the FMC
-the writing style was cringy in a way that felt like this book was meant for a very specific audience
-the unnecessary use of other languages did not pull the story together at all
-moments were extremely repetitive and did not add to the storyline
-parts of the plot were never circled back to & were left open completely

Overall, I will not be reading book II of this duology or other books from the author.

I’m disappointed

You would think it’s the cliffhanger but nope, I’m disappointed that she registered any kind of feelings other than rage at G and Carter. This isn’t a HFN or an HEA so calling it a romance is a no. And kidnapping me for the holiday and not even buying me gifts is diabolical. Calling this a prequel I could get behind but leaving us and fmc hanging with now reasoning on why, is also a no for me. I was happy with this book up until the end and then I felt bamboozled.

Failed Obsession

Lawd, I have so many questions 😫😫

Let me back up, I know this may not be everyone's cup of tea but I love a kidnapping. Sorry not sorry 🤷🏾‍♀️ Lorelai was a very busy OBGYN that had ran from the life her family had planned for her. Unbeknownst to her she would run into two men that were an extension of that life. G and Carter, who were ambiguous, due to the lack of descriptors, but seemed to be Greek and Spanish were part of the underworld. They spend a few days with her over the Christmas Holiday and their connection is electric. I liked them together, despite the mmcs unfounded obsession. 

I didn't like that they left abruptly and to be gone so long with no explanation was criminal. To be who they were, are we to believe they didn't have ANY eyes on her?? I was also waiting for the story to tie back to her family, but that loop was not closed. It didn't give Holiday, besides a Christmas tree in the corner. The days were passing and there was no mention of gifts, a Holiday meal, or anything to bring through the Holiday feels. That was a missed opportunity to me. 

Overall, I am intrigued though and want to see if the loops would be closed in the next book.

Come on stock holm lol loralie literally was stalked taken and fell in love with G and Carter who were friends. I love the way she kept talking to herself trying to figure out why she was comfortable lol.They all came from an underground world so she nobody in this throuple was to be played with. I loved how loralie just fell into being with them both. I honestly thought G and Carter would end up hurting each other over her lol but it all worked out. This book was well written and flowed nicely from Take Me There. I really enjoyed this and now I need to know about these kids chile!

This book was so good. It was a great ride in the dark romance world. This novella is a part of the authors world from her debut book, "Taie Me There." The mafia world is also a interracial romance world.
I really loved the MMC's in this novella. The FMC truly discovered herself sexually through them. This was a really good poly relationship. The ending has me on pins & needles.

They way I ate this novella up. Tash did her thing once again. I loved everything about it and I need more like yesterday. That cliffhanger was DIABOLICAL. I'm obsessed with G and Carter just like they are obsessed with Lorelei.

Loved this throuple!

I really enjoyed this novella! The storytelling was well done and kept me so engaged! I loved seeing the relationship between Lorelai, G & Carter blossom. I liked how Lorelai had time to process her situation and her feelings. Seeing the three of them together was so sweet! And the spice was great as well! I can’t wait for more on this throuple - especially after that ending!!

Undeniable Entanglement

This was such a good and mean tease into the dynamic of this thruple. Lorelei is such a badass doctor with a dark and dangerous upbringing. Getting tangled into with G and Carter, who are equally dangerous, is surprisingly just what she needed. I really like how their relationship builds. It wasn’t rushed or overly dramatic. I am a little upset about that ending, but I’d let it go with the speedy release of the next book please and thank you.

I have a lot of feelings after devouring this one. The stalking, the obsession, the feelings, the anguish, my anxiety!!!! The good doctor had a time fa sho. Leaving her satisfied and with a piece of both of her lovers. I am ready for the next sorry because how dare that poor unfortunate soul not know he messed up by going after Dr. Kincaid! Omg this book is good! I can honestly say I enjoyed this book more than her debut novel. I was definitely not expecting it to end the way it did. Now I’m wondering how long it’ll be before we find out the rest of the story. Omg my mouth hit the floor. Will definitely be reading the next book.

what an ending!

Dark romance isn’t my favorite genre but I love the way this author showed Carter and G’s love. It was well written and sucked me in like a good pair of spanx. I can’t wait to read more by this author. The cover had me intrigued but I stayed for the story.
