What a great kids story. Take Hanukkah out of it and it's still an amazing kids story. I would've loved this as a kid and I cannot wait to read it to mine. I am so excited to try the recipe at the end! As someone who wasn't born Jewish and am learning about Judaism via my wife, who is a converted Jew, the explanation of Hanukkah and definition of words is extremely helpful and even I will be coming back to it.
#GoodreadsGiveaway Cute story for younger kiddos, with added education about Hanukkah. We are not Jewish, but I love learning about different holidays celebrated. Illustrations are great. Loved that they included a recipe and vocabulary at the end of the book.
Sweet book about family and tradition. Easy enough for kids to understand. My 8 year old read it to me and she enjoyed it! A book for kids of all ages :-)
