Miranda Montgomery might be the youngest of the Montgomery clan, but that doesn’t mean she doesn’t know what she

I'd like to again thank GoodReads & Carrie Ann Ryan for this generous sweepstake/giveaway! Thank you...thank you! My rating is four and half stars and I'll explain why.

Based on my dark depraved tastes.....plus intense action.....and mafia draws you in with blood, gore, torture and bullet flying suspense; in all truth I didn't like Tempting Boundaries. I'm just gonna be straight up with you and not lie. But setting my sinister tastes aside and judging strictly the authors talents.

Decker & Miranda

Decker had a bad childhood. His dad is an abusive alcoholic. He found the Montgomery’s and they took him in as one of their own children.

Miranda Montgomery has been in love with Decker since he walked through their door. She figured she would outgrow the crush and knowing that Decker would never feel the same way about her she tried to move on. At 23 she is even more in love with Decker and cannot keep him out of her head or fantasies.

Decker noticed Miranda growing up into

Whereas I enjoy Ms. Ryan's writing and storytelling I always find her books tough to rate. Going with 3.5 Stars again.
I really enjoy this series so I shall continue.

I love Sierra that girl cracks me up, "you two are idiots, but I love you." Sierra laughed at her words, but Austin growled. "I mean I love Decker in a brotherly sort of way. I love you in a sexy, sweaty way. Okay?" Miranda she's such a strong person, "fine with me," Miranda snapped. "You don't have to be an a**hole about it. If you don't want to do this, don't." Decker I loved him when he's with his dog, "I have no idea what you ate to give you that stench, but we're going to find something bet ...more

Tempting Boundaries continues the story of the Montgomery clan, and I loved that I got to follow a new couple closely, while also seeing what was up with Sierra and Austin from book 1.
Decker and Miranda had their work cut out for them - that's for sure! Not only did Miranda's family consider her 'the baby' they also considered Decker a brother. That made their feelings for each other all the sweeter, though, and I truly enjoyed getting to know them better.

Decker has been a honorary Montgomery since he was a child, he's also been in love with Miranda forever.
Decker comes from abusive home his father beat his mother and while in prison his mother was doing really well. This is why he feels he isn't good enough for Miranda.
Lots of sexual tension and family upset with Decker and Miranda being together.
Really enjoy this series and writer.

The hero is a bit annoying and does not know his own worth. The heroine has a stalker that puts her in danger. Good story.

Miranda Montgomery, the youngest kid of eight, has been in love with Decker Kendrick for as long as she can remember, while he’s always seen her as a little sister. Finally fed up with the family zone, she makes it her mission to show him what he’s missing out on. Decker Kendrick has been an honorary member of the Montgomery family since childhood. He loves the Montgomery family too much to make a move on Miranda, besides she’s much too good for the likes of

I love the best friend’s little sister troupe and author Carrie Ann Ryan does it up right in Tempting Boundaries. This is never an easy story and it’s even harder in this book because not only isatruegemaward Miranda the baby of a large family but Decker was part of their family for a lot of his life. Best friends with one of her brothers and staying with them often when things weren’t good in

Not going to write a huge review for this one but just have to rave that this contemporary series is my favorite from this author. I like her paranormal series too, but this series IMHO is her best work. Loved Decker and Miranda, and am so glad there are still plenty of siblings left to read about.

Maybe 3.5 stars. This one was shorter than I expected and it was all going OK until we got to the separation part and it just came across as contrived and a little lame. Otherwise the story itself was enjoyable and I like reading a series about families so I'll most definitely read the next one

jumping from family friends to more....loved it. One thing I really enjoy about this series is the random chapters from other characters. I think it adds to the series and keeps me up to date with others we've met.

Feeling inadequate, fighting, and frustrating emotions...

In this second book, Decker Kendrick has the hots for his best friend 's little sister, yet he won't act on his feelings. He is not good enough for her, he believes. He is an honorary Montgomery, having been accepted into the large family years earlier. Treated like a son, he can't betray them by going out with Miranda.

Miranda Montgomery has loved Decker since she was a little girl. Now all grown up, she is ready to show him how much she w

It's been awhile since I read Book 1 in this series, and I so glad I came back to it. Decker Kenrick is a honorary member of the Montgomery family. His home life was pretty bad, with an alcoholic father and a mother who put his dad ahead of him, so growing up with the Montgomery's was a lifesaver. Miranda Montgomery has been in love with Decker forever, but he's always treated her like a little sister. When Miranda finally gets up the nerve to ask Decker out, he turns her down (he really doesn't ...more

Did not like this at all. The characters are cliched and so OTT they are ridiculous. The h goes on a date, she noticed a couple of issues but when she goes home he attacks her, even though her face is battered and bruised the police say no evidence. Then the guy (a colleague - teacher) runs her down and beats her - in front of a witness. So obviously he's not the smartest teacher! This doesn't even feel like a decent plot device, just shock value that is silly. But the worst plot device is when ...more

Decent story. Didn't really grip me. It sort of seemed surface writing. I didn't love or hate any of the characters. Competently written but no real spark for me. Not really sure why it took the hero so long to figure his s**t out. And that was a totally douchbaggy thing he did to cause the obligatory breakup at the end.

I have to say I really enjoyed this story set in the Montgomery clan . This time it's almost a tale of forbidden love as Decker who has always been treated as family struggles to ignore his feelings for the baby of the family Miranda. He isn't related to her in any way but as she is his best friends little sister he feels it would be wrong to start a relationship with her. There's so much that could go wrong and the last thing Decker wants is to hurt any of the family who have always been there ...more

Big family, loads of love!

I love this family and all the characters! The storyline is always great, what I don't love is how fast the endings are wrapped up. You get invested in these couples story, the trials and drama along with some serious sexy times and then bam within one chapter or more everything is wrapped up solved and hea! But you don't get the hea because it's over!! No epilogue just unicorns and rainbows and THE END!
That's why this is 3.5 stars and not 4, investing in characters and

So this is the second book in the Montgomery series and I'm thoroughly enjoying this wonderful, tightly-knit family. And it is a fairly large group! I really like the fact that even though their family ties are strong, the bond isn't limited to blood. Decker is a perfect example of this since, even though he wasn't born into the Montgomery clan, he was still brought into their warm and loving embrace and was treated as one of their brothers. This is all well & good until he finds himself att ...more

This book is part of a wonderful new series by Author Carrie Ann Ryan. You may be familiar with Carrie Ann's paranormal works, The Redwood Pack series and Dante's Circle series. This new contemporary series has come out novellas that have introduced us to the very large Montgomery family. Two of the siblings own a tattoo parlor and although all of the family members have a matching tattoo, the series is about more than just tattooing.

Tempting Boundries lets us see one of my favorite tropes--bes

What a wild emotional ride!

Talk about a page turner. Miranda Montgomery has loved Decker most of her life. But now she is all grown up but can't seem to tell him. Decker has grown up with the Montgomery clan and loves them all. But he knows he is not good enough for Miranda. His father is a drunk who abuses his Mom and he is afraid he will be like his father. What would happen, he wonders, if he gave in and loved her? What happens while they are trying to figure it out makes for a rollercoaster

Whew! Break out the fans and the ice water this book is smoking hot! The chemistry between Decker and Miranda is incendiary. Maybe it is because though they have longed for each other for so long that when they finally say to heck with what others want and give in to each other they have to make up for lost time. I don’t know. I do know whatever the reason, it works. I must admit I am not as fond of Decker as I am of some of the other Montgomery men but that’s because there is a very high bar th ...more
