This book tells facts about the Seahorse. How it lives, feeds, mates and survives as it avoids its predators in the ocean. The male Seahorse carries the eggs of the female in a large pouch below his stomach. The Seahorse has four fins, and its eyes move one at a time. There are many more facts about the seahorse in this book. There are many kinds of Seahorses found in the oceans of the world. The Seahorse in this book is found in the Atlantic Ocean.
The seahorse is for a upper middle school readers because they explain the animal anatomy of seahorses. This book has good description of the life of seahorse. The illustrations are kind of old looking but if children like seahorses then they will be interested. The book will receive 3 stars from me because I the illustrations aren't very current and interesting to look at. The book has different things that makes it interesting but not really good.
