I had a feeling I was going to love Michael Wayne Hampton's _Roller_Girls_Love_Bobby_Knight_ based on the title alone; then the book came in the mail, and I saw the beautifully designed cover and knew I was right.

The story itself is great. The writing is clever and really pulls the reader in. The only thing that got me was that the characters seemed to stereotypical. It was a great read, but most of the time I kept calling out what was going to happen just based on how the characters were set-up. There wasn't left for the reader to discover on their own.

Loved the cover. Loved the title. Something rubbed me wrong on page one and scraped my brain worse as I read on. It's the telling of the story...rushed and crammed. Sorry, Michael Wayne Hampton.
