How it ended: 🎶 Wrapping paper on the floor. Carolers outside the door. So much to be thankful for. Nothing could be better than this night with you. There's magic 'round the world at night. My heart melts more with every smile. Baby, honey, sugar, you know I love you even more at Christmas time 🎶 🤶🏾💚❤️🎅🏿

It was a very special Christmas indeed for the Powers family. And I loved that for them. Rhian and Mama Powers came to an understanding and Gideon and Rhian are hosting all of the holiday festivities at their home this year. From holiday pjs to a naughty gift exchange with the ladies, Charity thought of it all this holiday season.

Rhian and Gideon are back and they just wanted us to know she’s still cancer free & healthy, their marriage is still thriving, and they are still sickeningly in love with each other. It's Rhian’s favorite time of the year and, somehow, she’s managed to talk Ms. Melody into letting her host Christmas at her and Gideon’s home. Go big or go home and that’s exactly what Rhian did. She pulled out all the stops to make this year unforgettable. Christmas brunch with her girls, a naughty gift exchange, matching pajamas for the whole crew including Tobias (well, everybody except Kaleb. Y’all know he don’t know how to act right.), and a very competitive game of Christmas Taboo the fellas will never speak of again. It’s okay Senior. You did your best. 🤭🤭🤭🤭 This is the update we needed. I loved the author’s attention to details and how she made me feel like I was right there in the living room kickin’ it with the Powers family in my own black Santa PJs I purchased off of Etsy. The abundance of love I spoke of in One Eighty is still present. Gideon was in his element as a husband and dad. Rhian and Giana definitely have him wrapped around their fingers and whatever his heartbeats want, he’s gon’ make it happen. I was really hoping we would get a pregnancy announcement from Brie but, my good sis is standin’ on business. She said ain’t no babies until she’s good and damn ready. Mind our business and not her uterus. Okay Brie. You got it. 🤣🤣🤣🤣 A One Eighty Christmas gave me all the black family holiday feels and I’m crossing my fingers for more updates on the Powers clan.

I Love This Family

I was happy to hear from Giana…..I love stories with children as the secondary characters….usually the children are the comedic relief in the story. I really enjoyed catching up with one of my favorite families for the holidays

Christmas feels

Aww this was the cutest update 🥰 🥰 🥰 

Gideon and Rhian are still head over heels in love. Add in their daughter Giana and the love in their family is overflowing. This story perfectly fit the Christmas theme. We got the trees🎄, the decorations, sweet thoughtful gifts 🎁, and of course giving to those in need. I loved that all the family was present, the Christmas pajamas 🤶🏾, Santas cookies 🍪, the family gatherings, and the amazing food 🍤 were all highlighted. I mean no stone was left unturned. 

Gideon did not play about his family and I Ioved the energy he continuously gave his wife to ensure she had everything she desired. The sweet words from Gideon's mother to Rhian was the affirmation she didn't know she needed. All the feels🥰

I feel like we need a Birthday update for Princess Giana because I'm trynna get invited to this safari 🤷🏾‍♀️ Maybe by then we will have the new addition. I enjoyed this family.

I love this couple

The love that exudes from this couple is why I fell in love with them in their origin story. Reading about them again in this holiday short was so heartwarming. Y’all ever rooted for a book couple? 🙋🏽‍♀️ I’m guilty. This one gave me all the feels. Add it to your holiday TBR. 😏

4.5✨ Gideon and Rhian celebrated Christmas like it was going out of style, and I devoured every page of this One Eighty holiday story. Seeing Gideon as a father was truly special, and experiencing Gideon and Rhian still hopelessly in love was what I needed. Nothing was off-limits from Gideon to ensure this Christmas was perfect for his two favorite girls. I appreciated the Christmas cheer and the traditions that came together. It was a sweet story and a reminder to make the holidays memorable!

Charity I’m not angry at all for you sneaking this one in! I absolutely LOVED the update on Gideon, Rhian, Giana, and the rest of the family. I liked how Mama Mel and Rhian compromised with the holiday locations because who wants tension for the holidays. I promise that I fell in love with Gideon and Rhian all over again with how they really love on each other deeply. It takes a special kind of man to accept that his wife can’t physically carry him a son and doesn’t make her feel less than about it. Gideon put actions into effect and now they have an adoptive son on the way. I’m so in love with Zaddy and Daddy Gideon and how he loves out loud his ladies. Hopefully we’ll get another update about their transition into a family unit of four and them elephants that Gideon promised Giana for her birthday. I’m not ready to see these characters go yet!

Is there a more perfect couple that Gideon and Rhian Powers? Hmmm.... I think not! When I say I smiled this entire read, I smiled the entire time! How do they get more adorable than the last read? Gideon honey is it!! 🤩 Mr. fix it, Mr. if my wife wants it, I make it happen, Mr. attentive, Mr. romantic this list can go on and on. This man loves his wife and wants the world to know it!

Rhian is still showing us her huge caring heart, as she continues to fight for the women at the center, and love on her family. After the showing that Rhian put on for the holidays we need to dub her Rhian Powers-Christmas, cause sis did that!! Imma need to go back and get those drink recipes for sure. 😂 Loved catching up with the family on Christmas Eve and Day; getting to experience all the love they have for each other. Rhian is absolutely thriving this season—Christmas is her ultimate favorite, and she’s pulling out all the stops to make it as festive as possible! With her adorable little mini-me by her side, she’s all set to tackle the holiday festivities, hosting both sides of the family. And let me tell you, when the Powers gather, a fantastic time is guaranteed!

This holiday short is a cozy delight, radiating all the joyful holiday vibes and reminding us just how vital family is to the spirit of the season. Get ready to soak in all the cheer!

1. Gideon! Gideon! Gideon! I just love this man!! He is definitely Mr. Make IT Happen! He will do anything for his girls and I mean ANYTHING!

I absolutely love the Powers family and friends ❤️ Gideon is just the man of all men honey! His heartbeats Riane and Gianna have him wrapped around their fingers.

So him and Riane host Christmas at there house ( mama powers made a compromise for the baby lol) and a time was had! Laughs, fun games and can’t forget the drinks and food 🤗 yall gonna have to read it to get that tea. But what I will tell you is Gianna is and heavy on the IS getting an elephant for her birthday!

This book was an all around good time. I really enjoyed the banter and love shown amongst the family for the holiday season. I’m looking forward to another book from these characters if we can get one. HAPPY READING!

I’m so glad Charity Shane’ decided to write a follow up to our favorite couple Gideon and Rhian. This holiday novella had me giggling and kicking feet while giving me ALL the holiday feels. There was a lot of surprises . I really love Rhian I think she is a strong and relatable FMC and I enjoyed seeing her grow into being a wife. Gideon is still my man my man my man . This novella was a great way to start off my holiday reading and definitely put me into the spirit.

I enjoyed this update in Gideon and Rhian. Their love is still as strong as ever. Giana was just as spoiled as she wanted to be. Gideon makes stuff happen when his wife needs it, including getting real Christmas trees when the places around them run out. This was 88 pages of happiness, and I loved every minute of it.

Gideon is still that MAN, that doesn’t play about his money or his family. He still adores his wife and will do whatever he needs to do to make sure she is happy and taken care of .
Ms. Giana is 3 going on 30 😂 I do feel with how the story ended we need an update on Giana’s birthday party and the adoption process with Gideon getting his son !!!
I also enjoyed the updates on everyone else, especially Brie. Maybe we can also get an update on her and Amon later when they decide to start a family!!
