I just completed the third installment in the Doom's Day series and am glad I decided to read them all. While there is a link between all three books, they very easily can be read separately. I have thoroughly enjoyed all three reads. This book I gave the lowest score to (the other two books I gave 4 stars). I hate the five star system because of times like these. A novel that is set in the Marvel universe. This is book 3 of a trilogy but it can be read as a stand alone novel. In this one, Doctor Doom is trying to harness the energy from another dimension. To achieve this result, he enlists Doctor Octopus to aid him. This turn of events cause the Fantastic Four and Spider-man to unite.

After a bad book, I wondered how would be the last book of the serie.
Reuniting the authors of the first book was a good idea they know the characters very well.

Not much action in the first half a little bit slow to build the momentum. Final confrontation not really epic but the serie was a really good superhero plot.

Villains are great Dr.Doom and specially Dr.Octopus who play an interesting part in the story.

Again probably only good for Marvel fan. Pleasant easy read and easy to forget

A satisfying conclusion to the "Doom's Day" trilogy of novels. In this one, Spider-Man teams up with the Fantastic Four to thwart a plot by Doctor Doom. Longer review here: http://eyesandearsblog.blogspot.com/2...
