I really liked this one. The baseball wedding was a lot of fun. About half way through I realized the murderer was going to be someone I didn't want it to be and I was right. Since this was the last book in the series I had hopes for a satisfying ending and I was not disappointed. It ended in a really good way.

First book I've read by this author, was looking for a lighthearted fun mystery. It was pretty good, I'll look for other books by her. The one thing that bothered me throughout the book was that even though the lead character was paid "a lot of money" to assist the other wedding planner with the baseball wedding, she kept complaining when he would ask her to do something.

I lovedddd this series but it does feel very early 2000s. I guessed who it was right away but that never bothers me. Am I sure Aaron and and she will work out forever no… but I love their petty bullshit. I did like the ending I thought it was nice closure on this series but I do wish there was more by this author.

Better. Carnegie, it seems, will always be quick to fly off the handle; this is an improvement, however. Although there were times I doubted my conclusions, it turned out the culprit was the person I thought early on. Still, a pretty good mystery. The relationship was s little better, too.

Great way to finish this series! Carnegie is planning a wedding for a baseball player and a rocker as well as thinking about what type of wedding she wants now that Aaron has finally proposed.

I probably saw this book about 5 times on the bookshop before I decided to actually buy it. Finally I did it and I absolutely loved it!! It was funny, intriguing and with enough drama to keep a girl entertain. But is one of those books you read just cause you like to. I couldn't remember the name of the book or the author I could only remember the cover of the book (black background, skull on the wedding cake, green and orange) but I was determine to add it on here, it is a really fun read and you can easily read it in a few days if you have the time. I am a librarian so I had to find it! (or else I would've gone through all my books till I found it!) Lucky for me there's Google and my training on choosing keywords, so I wrote "novel wedding planner murder mystery baseball" and voilà! There it was the awesome cover! Oh yes and the characters are a bit of baseball nutheads so you'll learn a few interesting things about the game and a lot happens on one of the stadiums :)

“A wedding that will rock until heads roll.”

This is a fun mystery, one of Deborah Donnelly’s Wedding Planner mystery series. Carnegie’s clients are a hard-rock gothic bride and a famous baseball player groom. A sports writer, no one likes, is murdered at the engagement party. Carnegie tries to solve the mystery, almost getting killed herself. While all this is going on, she and her mother both get engaged, so she has plans for her own wedding on her mind.

Well written with lots of odd, funny characters, hilarious scenes and great suspense.

This seems to be the final book in the Wedding Planner series, although I am hoping that more of them appear. In this one, Carnegie is helping her sometime enemy Beau with a huge baseball-related wedding. When one of the major sportscasters, associated with the team, dies and Carnegie's friend is accused and jailed, she has to set aside her personal agenda of trying to deal with her mother's engagement and her own roller-coaster relationship with Aaron to try to solve the murder.

I have read all her books in the series. For some reason I still like them and find them great reads when sitting on the beach. I had this book figured out very early on in the book. It was still enjoyable to read but maybe not my favorite book in the series. Also, I actually do not like weddings and eloped myself but for some reason I do like Donnelly's books. Go figure??

Although out of order, this book is the final book of the Deborah Donnelly series. According to the website, she's working on a new series I believe. I'll be reading the 3rd, 4th and 5th books next year to round out the series in order. This took me about four days to read as well. A great cozy read and quite enjoyable. Good night!

glad to be finished with the series. I enjoyed the books to begin with but the characters became reputatious. Ending could have been better. felt like it was just thrown out there without much thought to get the series over.

I loved the story. It was very nice to see where Carnegie and Aaron's relationship ended up. I *hated* that the Seattle baseball team was not the Mariners. It was very jarring throughout the entire book.

This is a fun read in a day book set in the Seattle area. It's a series of murder mysteries centered around a wedding planner who lives on a houseboat (boat-house?) on Lake Union.

Kind of cute. Carnegie is a wedding planner and always seems to get involved in a murder--snooping where she shouldn't, and making herself a target. Nevertheless, all ends well
