My 3-year-old daughter LOVES Dora. And now that we're going to bring a new, baby sister into the house, she's more excited than ever to read about Dora's adventures. Especially when it comes to bringing a new baby brother or sister into the house! I should definitely get my hands on more Dora books for her to read. She enjoys watching Dora and Boots explore and learn new things, and I can't help but enjoy the bilingual aspect.

This book is about Dora and her family gaining another human in their household. Dora is super excited and can't wait to meet her new sibling. I would use this book in my classroom to show my students that having a new sibling can be an exciting experience and adventure.

Bought and read this with my grandbaby who is getting a baby sister soon . I personally thought it was a cute book - she enjoyed it UNTIL we reached the part where the baby came along !

I guess I'm just not a fan of the Dora book series. I like the Spanish; I like that she's an intrepid girl; I like that my girl likes to read these and have them read to her.

Big Sister Dora! know some1 who might need a Big Sister gift. perfect!! i love Dora ... don't own 2 much about here ...but i am familiar with her books. i read 4 today. "Dora's Perfect Pumpkin", "I Love My Papi!", "A Day at the Beach", and "Big Sister Dora!"!!! all are so cute. very colorful and happy. good quick reads. not sure what to call those ...but several have the pictures included with by the words ... i am guessing by showing the picture with the word your children can easily associate that ... put it to memory and become more familiar ... etc??! well done.

Text somewhat short makes it possible to read for young kids. I liked that it's interactive: the text itself is already a dialogue with the reader. The kids (preschoolers) enjoyed it more than I expected.

Like many Dora books, I find this incredibly pushy (and even though my daughter hasn't watched Dora in almost ten years, I still hear the character's grating little voice in my head), but it still manages to be more tolerable than most.

Dora the Explorer always sends a good message to the kids. This book teaches kids the way to be helpful when it comes to assisting with a younger sibling.

Stacy read half of the book to Coale. She is hilarious and got Coale to at least look at some of the pictures.
