Absolution is a haunting and introspective collection of short stories that confronts life’s most fundamental questions: how we face death, how we endure suffering, and whether redemption is ever truly within reach. From its stark opening exchange “We’re going to die, aren’t we?” / “Yes.” the book makes clear that it will not shy away from difficult truths.
