Santa Baby

Rate this book
I’ve been an awful bad boy, and what do I get as a reward?
A gorgeous fake date on my arm to mix, mingle, and be merry at my events.
The kicker?
She’s my best friend’s baby sister, ten years younger than me, and not on the menu as a Christmas treat.
Even if she is the one thing I really do need.
Both in the bedroom and my life.
She has me wrapped around her little finger, even if she drives me to the brink.
I tell her to wear black. She shows up in pink.
She hops in the kissing booth. I hop off the edge.
There’s one thing on my Christmas list this year.
Naughty or nice, it doesn’t matter.
My best friend’s little sister is all I want under the tree.
She’s worth a trip to Tiffany’s, too.
And if he hates me for it?
I’ll just blame Santa, baby.

Every good girl deserves a bad boy. ~Weston

Hey there. I'm Weston.

Have we met? No? Well it's time to end that tragedy.

I'm a former firefighter/EMS guy who's picked up the proverbial pen and started writing bad boy romance stories. I co-write with my sister, Ali Parker, but live in Texas with my wife, my two little boys, my daughter, two dogs, three cats, and a turtle.

Yep. A turtle. You read that right. Don't be jealous.

You're going to find Billionaires, Bad Boys, Military Guys and loads of sexiness.

Something for everyone, hopefully. I'd love to connect with you. Check out the links below and come find me.

I really liked this book. It’s a sweet holiday romance. Fia and Mason complement each other perfectly. I thought the character and plot development were nicely done. The story has laughs and emotion and a bit of spice and a bit of angst and heartache. I really liked the way everything came together and thought it was a very heartwarming story. It feels a lot like a Hallmark Christmas movie. The perfect holiday read.

Sigh! So good! So sweet! So much family drama! I loved Mason and Fia pretty much from the moment we met them. The sparks were zinging between them right from the beginning, but it was such a perfectly frustrating slow burn to get them to the “more” stage of their relationship. To be honest, I loved it. It was precious to see the pair of them able to be their authentic selves with one another when they spent so much time hiding behind masks with nearly everyone else. I enjoyed that so much, and I’m feeling a little bereft now that it’s over.

Despite a handful of grammar and spelling errors as well as I think some issues with the timeline of things, this ended up being a cute story and a quick read. Nothing overly cheesy, because after all I do enjoy some cheesiness in my romance stories, and just a hint of spice.

Regarding the timeline, there were references to things that happened 3 nights prior but initially referred to as “last night.” There is also a mention of having known each other 3-4 weeks but by then it’s not even the week before Christmas and their first event together was Thanksgiving.

Overall a very cute holiday themed story.

I received an arc for my free and honest review.

This was a super cute Christmas read, fake dating turns real trope. The author does a great job creating the chemistry between the MMC and FMC. Lots of cute Christmasy themes. Low spice in my opinion.
I recommend this holiday read this season!

Cute christmas read. I loved Mason. The way he listened to detail, his own heart, & stayed true to himself was heartwarming. The spice, on the other hand, fell a little short for me, but it still kept me intrigued.

What a terrific read from Weston Parker! While it seemed to run a bit long in the middle, it was still a delightful book with all the things one wants from a good Romance novel! (I voluntarily reviewed an advance reader copy of this book and really enjoyed it!) ❤️❤️

This book started off strong for me until about 30% of the way in. I thought Fia (side note, Fia? Really?) was a great foil to Mason. She’s independent, feisty, sassy and compliments/pushes him. Mason is kind of blah MMC. There’s nothing remarkable about him. But he’s sweet and kind to Fia.

But then we get to 30% and it starts to drag. Any time there’s sparks between the two, they both pull back with “we can’t. This is fake dating”. Um, where’s the rule that fake dating cannot be real. And there feels like a lot of emphasis on the family status difference between Fia and Mason but Mason never once brings it up. It’s all Fia in her head.

I didn’t find their chemistry all that explosive. It felt like tepid bathwater.

Connor is a tool. Why does he keep throwing his sister under the bus? I really thought that the brother’s best friend trope was going to be the “I knew all along that you were perfect for each other and made this happen!” Instead it was a drunken rambling in front of the whole family at the expense of his sister.

Should you read this? Sure. It’s a fine read. Just don’t expect much and know it’s an easy, not complex book.

I’m not gonna lie, I initially wanted to read this for cheekiness and smut. I didn’t get any of that with this book. I’m not disappointed, it actually turned out to be a decent book and nothing like what I thought. The description had me thinking something totally different. If not for that, I probably wouldn’t have picked up this book. Regardless, it wasn’t quite as good as the last book. It felt slower and not as exciting. The author took her time with Fia and Mason. She made it more like a traditional relationship that started off with other motives at first. Mason would use her so he can be seen in a more favorable way with his family and media, she would use him to get her career going in event planning and gain clients. This is nothing new in tropes I’ve read in the past before. I think because the author didn’t do anything different with it that it fell slightly short for me, plus the slow pace of the story. Most of the book consisted of Fia and Mason being afraid of their feelings for each other and unsure with how it was going to go between them. This went on a bit too long in my opinion. Even though this was the case, I found myself drawn to Fia and Mason, plus their families. I enjoyed reading about their dynamics and drama as well as the connection with Fia and Mason. Their conversations and personalities meshed well together, even though Fia was more outgoing and knew how to think on her feet easier while Mason was more quiet, thoughtful, and had poise. Their chemistry was palpable and sweet with an air of innocence that you loved. There was tenderness and passion when they came together and when you have that, it makes for a good story that you can’t help but root for them. There was hardly any arguments and definitely no misunderstanding that draws them apart and I liked that about this book among other things. In fact, what does wind up briefly bringing them apart is Fia’s brother Colin. Overall, if you want a cute, good book that brings about the holiday spirit, feels, and setting worthy of a 4, then check this out. However, be prepared to have it be slower with minor things that happen throughout the book. If this sounds like your ideal story, then check it out, if not then I would pass.

Photographer Fia Webster loves living in New York, and her favorite thing to do is eat takeout with her bestie Liv. Only her brother Colin has other ideas. His former roommate and now boss Mason O’Leary, billionaire owner of a successful whiskey distillery, needs a date for some upcoming holiday events, so Colin is cashing in on the favor Fia owes him. Yep, oh joy, she is going to be a fake long-time girlfriend from Thanksgiving through the New Year with someone she barely knows.

As they go from one event to the next, Fia and Colin move closer to each other until they fall into like, have their first kiss, then BAM! fireworks. But the beauty of their fledgling relationship is tainted by two ugly turns. The entirety of the distillery’s special Christmas blend is contaminated with menthol, threatening the business, and Mason’s father is once again berating his son not only for ruining their precious reputation but also for being involved with Fia, whom he accuses of being unsuitable and a gold digger. And, unbelievably, the situation only worsens from there.

Kudos to Weston Parker for creating such a beautiful story filled with wonderful characters and a compelling plot. If you want something to put you in the holiday spirit, look no further than Santa Baby - an exciting, unputdownable, page-turner dusted with just the right amount of Christmas magic!

You don’t want to miss Mason and Fia’s story!

A real slow-burner of a story, but oh so heartfelt, too. Mason owns Heritage Spirits (fine whiskey), a multi-billion dollar company, who went to college with Fia’s brother, Colin. They partnered up to form the company. Mason is a loner and hates the holidays. Fia edits for micro-influencers. She also has experience in event planning, but she really wants to be a photographer (she does mostly weddings now and some events) whose pictures are hung in galleries. She lives in New York. Christmas is her favorite holiday. Ok, now her brother wants her to go on a few holiday dates with Mason pretending they are in a long-term committed relationship. She’s met him once before and he’s a grumpy man. Fia owes Colin and favor, and Colon owes Mason a favor. The positive side is she can network for jobs. After the Thanksgiving dinner as a trial run, it was all systems go. Mason can’t get her out of his mind. So unusual for him. Well then, neither can Fia get Mason out of her mind. They both have reasons why they can’t or shouldn’t get involved, but keep it on a professional level. Can they do it? The song Santa Baby gives meaning to Mason and Fia on their journey together. Weston Parker is a wonderful writer who keeps you engaged from beginning to end.

Oh Baby!

I'm kind of sorry that I waited to read this story, but also this was the best time to read it.This story was about a loney man( Mason ) who really kept to himself who ran a company, made money for everyone ,watch his stocks rise but he lack a girl of his own.Fia is set up by her brother to be a fake girlfriend, it seem to work until Christmas and everthing went down hill. But it actually went down in a slump when Mason's company went almost broke over recalls, where he lost tons money, orders, faith in his company and Mason ghosted FIA and it hurts her feelings being shut out not realizing what's going on but when she does she rushes to his side just in time to hear his father saying mean nasty things about her and Mason stands up for his "girlfriend ".Mason and Fia realize that it's the real thing and not fake any more but Mason wants to talk to Colin her brother about it not being fake anymore and he wants to marry her,but before he can her brother spill the beans tell everyone that it was fake and FIA has job in L.A. and this news get spilled Christmas her favorite day.Mason takes the time and he can't live without FIA and he asks for help and it turns out happy dreams! This is exciting, made me smile most of the time and I would read more story's by this author.

This one is off the charts with feels! Thank you Weston, you don't disappoint!! 5 stars!! Mason, a billionaire CEO needs a date for all the holiday events he has to go to. So he asks his best friend/CFO Colin to find him a woman to play fake girlfriend/fiancée. Colin suggests his sister Fia that loves the holidays, NYC's richest and finest parties and charity balls for her to attend with a handsome man, what's not to love?
What a pleasant surprise for Mason, Fia being so full of life and treating him like he's just a man, not a billionaire. He loves her from day one! She talks to him honestly and says whatever comes to mind. Just doesn't get any better, sweeter or steamier than these two! Since Fia is his best friend's sister, he worries about telling Colin that he's in love with her. She hears some horrible things his Dad says about her too. Through the ups and downs they work it out together! Thank you Weston, for his Dad eventually explaining a lot he could never understand!

Weston Parker delivers another heartwarming holiday tale with Mason and Fia's Story, a delightful book that will have you believing in the magic of Christmas. This was a fantastic holiday read!

Mason, the owner of Heritage Spirits, a multi-billion-dollar fine whiskey company, is a loner who despises the holidays. He started the company with Colin, his college buddy and Fia’s brother. Meanwhile, Fia, who loves Christmas, works as an editor for micro-influencers and has a background in event planning.

When Colin asks Fia to do him a favor by pretending to be in a long-term relationship with Mason during the holiday season, things take an unexpected turn. As the two navigate their fake relationship, they wrestle with personal reasons for keeping things strictly professional. But can they resist the undeniable connection between them?

I received this book as an ARC reviewer and am sharing my honest opinion.

i read this book as part of an arc program. This is the fake romance between Mason and Fia. Mason asks his best friend for help and he suggests his sister Fia. Fia agrees to be Mason's fake fiance for the holidays hoping she will be introduced to some of Mason's wealthy friends to help her build up a marketing and party planning business. Fia is a photographer and helped her ex build up his business and then he broke up with her. From the beginning, both Mason and Fia felt chemistry between them and wished things were real between them. As time goes on, Mason also worries how his best friend Colin will react to his feelings for his sister. I really liked this book, Mason and Fia were opposites and brought the best out in each other. I liked that Mason was more relaxed around Fia and he open up to her. I liked how Mason really saw Fia and listened to her to express herself. This was another great one from Weston.

This fake fiancée romance was just a delight!

I chose this holiday-themed book on a whim, and boy, am I glad I did! Initially, I didn't expect to fall head over heels for it. This fake fiancée romance was just a delight, bringing a perfect blend of charm and warmth that captures the essence of the season. The writing was spot on, allowing the characters' chemistry to shine through beautifully—no cheesy moments, just genuine connection. As someone who often shies away from romances penned by male authors, this book pleasantly surprised me with its engaging storyline. It's a standalone read with a happily ever after and just the right amount of spice. If you're looking for a feel-good romance to cozy up with this holiday season, I highly recommend diving into this gem. I know I’ll be exploring more of this author’s work soon!

Fia and Mason met when her brother, Colin asked her to be the pretend girlfriend of his boss for the holidays. Mason was a billionaire workaholic who was shy, socially awkward and a man of few words. They just seemed to hit it off and she seemed to make his words flow. A slow burn romance with plenty of family drama. The book was well written with a cute story line and likable characters. Her love of Christmas was contagious and it was sweet how thoughtful he was. A business crisis and a brother who just about messed everything up. A happy ending with no cliffhanger. A cute romance that will get you in the holiday spirit. I read a complimentary copy via the author and voluntarily chose to review it.

A heartfelt fake romance for Mason and Fía

This is a cute meet holiday romance. I enjoyed reading this story and the main characters were so sweet. This is a bit of a slow burn, although I am not a fan, Fia and Mason did have some romantic moments before the end of the book. Mason is a successful billionaire and his BFF from college Collin work together at their successful whiskey company. Mason has a lot of holiday social events coming up and needs a plus one that’s not complicated. Colin offers up his beautiful sister Fia, a photographer. Fia is struggling to get the clients that she needs to sustain her business, so to attend these events and do some networking is pretty darn attractive. Fia agrees to help Mason. Their relationship begins there . . . . Read On!

This is a cute fake holiday dating romance.

This story is about a woman named Fia. Mason is having Fia be his fake girlfriend for the Christmas holidays. Fia is his best friend’s little sister. She is ten years younger than Mason. She has him wrapped around his little finger. She also drives him to the brink. He tells her to wear black and she shows up in pink.

His best friend’s little sister is all he wants on his Christmas list. She’s worth a trip to Tiffany’s as well. She is what he needs in his life and in his bedroom. She is his fake date on his arm to mix, mingle and be merry at different events. Mason has always been an awful bad boy. This story had many funny moments and it was spicy 🌶️ 🌶️🌶️🌶️. This book was fun to read.

This was a great Christmas Read. Fia agreed to be Mason's fake girlfriend for the holidays and he was hers as well. Fia agreed to the arrangement because she needed the money to get her very ill father into a trial medical program. The sparks were always there but they both fought against them. She was perfect at being herself even if that went against what all the billionaires thought she should be. The feelings were intense and the heat was even better. After many ups and downs they finally found what they had been looking for in each other. This is such a great holiday ready and will keep you wanting to turn the pages until the end. You will NOT be disappointed!

Well, Weston Parker has done it again with another fantastic book that will definitely have you believe in the spirit of Christmas with Mason and Fia Story. Fia is asked by her brother to fake date his best friend Mason, but when sparks fly between them or snowballs will it end up with friendships destroyed and hearts broken or will santa give Fia everything she's ever wanted? This book really is such a great story and just in time for the Holiday Spirit of Christmas. I couldn't put it down as you could feel the chemistry between the characters and their pain and heartbreak. It's such a wonderful book.

This is a brilliant fake relationship read.
When Mason and Fia first meet there is an instant attraction between them but it's only supposed to be fake. Fia's brother Colin is Mason's best friend and he asked her to attend some events with Mason as a favour.
They were complete opposites but they were perfect together. When feelings start to change between them neither wants to admit it but they can't stay away from each other.
I loved how they were together but when her brother gets between them can they make it back to each other.
A must read with a perfect ending.

Mason is a billionaire who needs a date for the holidays. He asks his friend Colin to set him up with a fake girlfriend/fiancé. Colin asks his sister Fia to help out Colin. She is friendly, sweet and treats him like a man instead of a dollar sign and he loves it! As they navigate the events together, they become infatuated with each other and the relationship starts to grow from there. When disaster strikes at Mason's business and her family holiday party, they are faced with settling some things together. Can they work out what they both want or not? Weston Parker was able to bring some Christmas cheers for us this year!

This is 3.5 rounded down. Feeling a bit conflicted about this one. On one hand, I really enjoyed the love journey and both MCs. On the other, it was a bit too cream puff and vanilla. Exceptionally unspicy for a modern romance novel.

Ultimately, the thing that disappointed me the most was the way scenes ended abruptly with a chapter ending. Fia and Mason would be right in the middle of enjoying each other's company (and I'd be grinning along, having a good time), then suddenly the chapter would end. Next scene, it was suddenly 2 days later. The only way we'd know how the last scene actually played out was a sentence or two in their reminiscent day dreaming.

I think Mia and Mason just became my favorite Weston Parker couple. I love how Mia is a strong woman who, even though her brother volunteers her for a "fake" date for the holiday season with his best friend, she doesn't just follow along with Mason's "instructions." And I just love Mason for how he changes and comes out of his shell and allows Mia to see the real him. Colin, Mia's brother, however I seriously dislike. This is just a great holiday book and well worth reading again and again.

Superb. When a man finds his forever love, he just knows it’s right.

I absolutely adored this book. It was supposed to be just for the holiday season and then they would break up. But fate had other plans for Fia and Mason. Excellently written to where you cannot put it down. Lovingly written storyline and storytelling. As you read this book, you can see them falling desperately in love with each other. And it is great to read. After a few weeks, even the reader knows it’s not fake, it’s as real as true love can get. Absolutely wonderful.

I absolutely loved this read. Fia's brother throws her into this situation to help out his friend and boss when he needs a fake relationship to get him through the holiday season. I liked her spirit, her love of the holidays, and her determination to create a future that she wants. Mason is so focused on work, that he's not enjoying life. These characters are very lovable and have a story that felt real and very organic in how they were getting to know each other and grow that connection. This is a great read and a must for any holiday lover!

Cute Christmas story and HEA

This was a cute story. There was tension and easy chemistry between the main characters. Honestly the communication sucked a bit since Mason was a bit of an introvert but internally he was there. The miscommunication just threw wrenches in their progression a bit. The one thing I didn’t like was that many of the early chapters just black out and then jump to a few days/weeks later. It was choppy, but the story got better toward the middle and end. Great resolutions to all storylines and a nice extended epilogue.
