Born in Brazil but currently living in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, Chris’ life took a totally different course when technology came into play, and the following 17 years were spent delving deep into the world of programming and web design.
It was in 2010, when Chris began role playing online as a hobby, that writing wormed its way back into the picture. This time, writing storylines for the role playing group.
The ideas and plots created for the game awoke the inner writer and a few months later, together with partner in crime C. Aubrey, began writing erotic romance.
Now, still together, they have written a number of short stories and novel. They are currently working on book three of their series as well as several short stories. Through it all they have continued to enjoy role playing through their favorite characters.

Something Crazy by Chris Almeida and Cecilia Aubrey is another sweet yet steamy little Bit of Life that was originally provided in the authors' October Newsletter and is now published as it's own short story. In the future, if you want to read the Bits of Life from Chris and Cecilia for free, subscribe to their newsletter. Easy!
In Something Crazy, Trevor is antsy. He wants out of the house and wants to take Cassandra on an adventure. Inspiration sparks and he sets his plan into action. He simply tells Cassie what to wear and when to be ready. The suspense drives Cassie nuts as she tries to figure out what he is up to, but she trusts Trevor and goes along with the plan. She is rewarded with a crazy experience she will never forget.
Trevor is always challenging Cassie to step outside of her comfort zone and this definitely happens in Something Crazy. The bond between this married couple from the Countermeasure Series grows stronger in each story written by Chris and Cecilia and it is a pleasure to be along for the ride with them. They are a very real and fun couple to read about and one of my all time favorites.
In addition to the heartwarming story that always takes place in a Trevor and Cassandra book, we also get to read some smoking hot love scenes. Chris and Cecilia write such romantic and engaging intimacy that you feel what the characters feel. In Something Crazy you feel the cool air along your naked skin just like Cassandra. You feel the sweat that that breaks out due to the overwhelming heat and passion along with Trevor. Each time I read about the couple it feels like the first time all over again. The authors really make you squirm while reading in a delightful way.
Something Crazy is a really great read. It can be read on its own but is even better to read as part of the Countermeasure Series. If you are looking for an entertaining quick read where a married couple heads out on a sexy, crazy adventure, give this Bit of Life a try. And if you haven't read the Countermeasure Series, you will want to start after reading Something Crazy.

Ahhhh... another voyeuristic look in at Trevor and Cassie. These two are my favorite book couple, I think EVER (beating out Heathcliff and Cathy) because of these glimpses into a day in their life together. We first meet Trevor and Cassie in COUNTERMEASURE. Something Crazy is the second Bit- a day in the life- that we get to peek in on them. Chris and Cecilia retain the excellent writing they have come to be known for and because of that, I was once again, feeling very much like a Peeping Tom, watching enthusiastically from the window.
I am one of those readers that once I fall for a character, I fall hard and positively NEED to know more about them. Trevor and Cassie are a normal, totally believable couple. They have the ups and downs that real couples have- we see the self doubts, the tender teasing moments, the stress that work puts on people. I love these Bits because we actually get to see those moments, and that makes them all the more real to me. Yes, they do have to work for their HEA, just like us regular people.
I cannot recommend this series enough. It is always at the top of my "Have you read these books...You HAVE to read these books" list! So rush out, right now, Get Uncharted (it is a freebie) and start your journey. I will meet you at the Brazen Head for a pint of Guinness afterwards, if I don't see you at St. Stephen's Green first!

in this installment, Trevor is feeling stir crazy and decides to plan an adventure for Cassie. Well, if you know Cassie even in the slightest the curiosity kills her. She is well rewarded for following directions though as Trevor tests her boundaries with a very hot reward at the end.
If you haven't read any of this dynamic duos writings, you need to get off Goodreads now and download the series starting with Uncharted. You won't be disappointed at all.

I absolutely love these Bits! And this one was hot and funny as well. How will Cassandra react when she finds out the newest adventure Trevor has planned for her! Trevor knows the key to a happy marriage is to keep the romance alive so he has decided to take Cassie on a little adventure and do some thing crazy!

Another snippet of Trevor and Cassie's life in between their adventures. Trevor gets a devilish idea to take a little adventure in the park across the street..at midnight. You never know what could happen alone in the park after hours. Will they get caught when things get a hot and steamy? A short fun read from my favorite couple.

I received this as an ARC from the authors. It is a short with Cassandra and Trevor from their Countermeasure series. I have fallen in love with these characters. And I love these Bits of Life glimpses into their world. This bit gives us a view of a midnight adventure they undertake.

Can I just say OMG!!!???!!! I was frantic at the end that Trev and Cassie would get caught and my heart was pounding! Love the adventure and living vicariously through these two lovebirds!
