★★★★★! Sin, (stand-alone) book 1 of 3. Erotic historical suspense about the Earl of Trent accompanying country virgin to orgy in the countryside!

“She moaned at the forbidden eroticism of this— of sitting on an earl’s face. Fired by wanton naughtiness…”

Books in Rodesson’s Daughters trilogy are stand-alones, but most enjoyed if read in order:
Book 1: Sin
Book 2: Black Silk
Book 3: Hot Silk

Sin (stand-alone book 1) takes us to London, England year 1819.

5 stars for the ohhhh-my-gawwwwd blistering hot sex and 4 stars for an ok romance.

You name it this book has it: f/m, m/m, ffff, m/m/f, bdsm, voyeurism, orgies galore and every kind of um, let’s say, “unique” sex act imaginable –and all of this ick free to boot! How Page managed to do all that without the yuck factor going way up high is pretty impressive.

Here’s the story of a woman, Venetia, who paints erotic art in order to support her family because her father, who is also a painter, no long

Rating: 4.5 / 5

I have to admit, that most of the time when I read an erotic romance (whether contemporary, historical, or something else), I only read a few chapters at a time, then go read something else. Because no matter how hot the book is, or how well written, I get a little bored with the non-stop sex and negligible plot. Sin by Sharon Page wasn't one of those books. Once I got into the story (it starts off a little slow), I was hooked and stuck with the book instead of switching off to a

WOW! This is one NASTY, DIRTY book, and I liked it.
Venetia Hamilton is no stranger to erotic art--her father's lush paintings are one of society's secret pleasures.
When Venetia is being blackmailed by her father's mistress because she has taken over her father's business of painting erotic art, she enlists the aide of Marcus Lord Trent. Together they go to an orgy at a country house to try and negotiate with the blackmailer. While there, they encounter people engaging in almost every kind of se

When Venetia Hamilton's father cannot paint his erotic art books anymore due to his arthritic hands, Venetia paints his books for him. When Marcus Wyndham, the Earl of Trent call on her she instantly knows that he is the man that features in her fathers sketches. He knows that the last erotic book was sketched by someone different, and works out that it was Venetia who painted it. He wants her to stop using his image and then makes her promise to paint no more books ever.

Just a big no for me, thanks you so much.
Horrible, horrible book. Don't waste your money on it.
Alright, this is ridiculously good. So decadent, yet very traditional (for erotica). It's like an oxymoron.

The heroine is Venetia, who is a ghost artist for her father, a famous erotic artist. Yep, she's drawn erotic pictures and scenarios, since she was 14 or something, but is still a virgin. Along comes, Marcus, who looks strikingly like the man that stars her previous set of erotic drawings, and he wants her to stop using his face and stop drawing (in attempts to save her reputation). Another sexy Historical Erotica by Sharon page.
Venetia, the erotic painter is caught by Marcus and blackmailed when he finds out the lewd portraits of him and the ton have intact been done by her, not her father.
When he takes her to an orgy to show what she has been painting.. things get insanely hot!
She witnesses the most scandalous acts- from M/M, to MFM, FFFF, MMFM and BDSM and also gets to find her love in Marcus.

#1 Hamilton Sisters - Erotic Historical

Venetia Hamilton secretly paints exotic art. When she meets Marcus Wyndham, the Earl of Trent, she becomes involved in a web of secrets, blackmail, and intrigue. Everything threatens to boil over during a secret orgy attended by masked members of society -- and a murder is added to the mix.

Warning! Not for the faint of heart -- this is ultra-erotic!

I loved that there's as solid and interesting a plot to go along with the wildly erotic stuff.

I normally don't read historicals but I am glad I read this one. This book is very erotic and has every sex act you can imagine. It has srong characters, suspense and romance.

Okay, I'm not quite finished with this yet, but I'm thoroughly enjoying it. Let me start by saying that this is true erotica, mostly made possible (and plentiful) in whole by the hero's acquiescence into taking the heroine to her first orgy, per her strong insistence. What's refreshing is that this is a regency-era romance, and the heroine is a virgin to boot (a part that continues to frustrate the hero and the reader--all in a good way.) Historical erotica romance doesn't come around too often, ...more

This book is one of my favorite guilty pleasures. It’s RIDICULOUSLY and DELICIOUSLY raunchy. It’s erotica at its best – a strong plot, an intriguing heroine and hero, and steamy, scandalous liaisons. What more could you ask for, really, then a plot involving an erotic artist enlisting the help of a rakish Earl to get her into a week long orgy? I. KID. YOU. NOT.

I’ve come to love Sharon Page’s work. She writes delicious scenes that curl your toes and make you feel naughty, all while developing int
AMAZING! The beginning to my favorite historical erotic romance, Sin is an incredibly sexy read that never slows the pace for a minute. Eldest Hamilton sister Venetia has secretly been supplying the erotic art under her famous father's name since his health has declined, but when Marcus, the earl of Trent, recognizes himself in the art, he confronts her and outs her. At the same time, someone blackmails her family, so she goes along with Marcus to a country orgy, where she is sexually awakened w ...more
Wow, now THAT was an erotic read and one of the best/ is it really gonna happen HEA's ! DEFINATELY going to read and follow this author again. This book had suspense, murder mystery, non-stop orgies lol!, and a strong heroine with a reluctant hero which I love. The only reason I'd give it 4.5 stars instead of 5 is because it was a historical romance . Why that bugs me, I don't know lol. READ IT. It's worth it!

Believe it or not my mom introduced these trilogies by Sharon page. I love the book and even loved the other two books that came after them. Sharon Page is a good story telling. Her books are part of the paranormal romance and some are sexually explicit. I'm looking forward to her next book. Enjoy!

A Love Story Only Sharon Page Can Write

A virginal erotic painter meets reformed rake earl and they fall in love. Add blackmail, murder, mystery, orgies, BDSM, lots of lust and highly erotic sexual encounters and graphic language then you get a book true to Sharon Page and her style of writing. Was it too much graphic and erotic sex for me? Yes. But why the 5 stars? Because it is consistent with the author’s style. Her books never pretended to be otherwise. The main plot is still a love story. It
It's official. Sharon Page is my new favourite historical erotica author. Spicy and sometimes funny (the desperate virgin moment is so endearing). I would give this 5 stars but I want justice for Lydia (publish her work posthumously!) and Vee and Marcus's insta-love towards the end made things a little too predictable.

Sinful pleasure

Loved Vee and Marcus, they were both thoroughly likeable characters. The romance was sweet, the plot compelling and the action HOT. I have no idea if such events are historically accurate, but I was more than willing to suspend my disbelief....

Venetia Hamilton is the largely unknown, oldest illegitimate daughter of famed erotic artist Rodesson. When Rodesson's arthritic hands prevent him from painting, Venetia secretly produces his scandalous works. If her father could abstain from gambling and other wicked pursuits, she could easily earn enough to keep her younger sisters respectable. When Marcus Wyndham, the Earl of Trent, unexpectedly appears at her door, Venetia quickly realizes that one of her father's main characters is based on ...more

I had no idea the ton of "prim and proper" England were such perverts! I have read historicals before where whores are mentioned, of course, and mistresses. I'll never quite understand how people lived that way. But orgies? A week-long orgy? Wow. And later, a masquerade ball at a theater full of debauchery? Bring it on! ;-)

Lydia is a well-known whore who has been milking her clientele for secrets and then attempting to blackmail them with the information. She's pissed off quite a few well-off m
Well I seem to be in the minority here as far as ratings go, and I thought my giving it 2 stars was rather generous. I usually like erotic romance, and being an historical is always icing on my cake, but this story just didn't do it for me. At the halfway mark I wanted to quit. The characters were just too unbelievable to me. Marcus, a man who is no stranger to carnal pleasure and participating in orgies agrees to take Venetia to an orgy to confront the person who is blackmailing them. While she ...more

I went in thinking that I would love this book, but it seems that I was expecting too much. It was going okay until all the quim, cunny, etc... was thrown around. I know it is a historical romance, but still, lets call a spade a spade instead of these annoying words that just kept taking me out of the moment. Not only that when the pov's changed there was not way to tell because there was no spacing between sections, it would just abruptly be someone else talking or thinking.

I love historical romance. This book had absolutely everything, adventure, suspense and some really tongue-wagging steamy scenes.
Venetia was born as an illegitimate child to a rake and her life was always covering behind her father to help her families survival. When her elderly father begins to experience crippling hands and is unable to paint the Erotic paintings that support Venetia and her family, she takes over.

This book is hot! Call-the-fire-department-because-the-manor-is-burning hot! It takes us to am extended orgy at a house party in the country where we see erotic tableaus that mimic the heroine artwork and light her loins on fire.
The hero is mouth wateringly delicious and the heroine is sexy in physicality, personally and artistically. I wanted to be her.

There is mystery, intrigue and romance. There are fascinating sub-characters, unique sexual experiences and twisted subplots. The naughty is b

Best thing about this book?

The main male character, Marcus, looks exactly like Richard Armitage. A bloody great image to have in your read while reading this book, especially the steamy scenes. ;)

Seriously though, no matter how hot the sex scenes are, for me it gets really boring when there's nothing else to it. In this book there's mystery, murder, an interesting heroine and, as mentioned previously, a bloody hot hero.

Really good, entertaining read.
