This is really "scientific". It is a report on butterflies and skippers seen in Ohio. There are color plates in the back, but most of the book is just individual reports on these insects.
I've had a butterfly that was dead in the garage in the summer, clipped to a magnet on my fridge, and wanted to know about it. It was hard to trace it back from the picture page to the report on it, and I am not sure I know much more than I did.
I need a handbook for the "common woman."
We moved to an area near the Ohio river, and I'm interested in who is visiting my garden and what I can plant that will appeal to them.
