This is the story of J. Donald Walters, also known as Swami Kriyananda, a direct disciple of the great Indian Avatar, Paramhansa Yogananda. Kriyananda was a monk who lived with Yogananda at Mount Washington during Yogananda's last few years of life. I truly enjoyed this book, primarily for the second half of the book, which is all about Kriyananda's interactions with Yogananda. The stories are absolutely fascinating and supplement beautifully Yogananda's Autobiography of a Yogi. Anyone who loves Autobiography . . . and wants a different perspective of Yogananda should read this book.
