This is my first time reading one of Konstanz's books, so I wasn't entirely sure what to expect. From the synopsis and the beautiful cover, I knew it was going to be something that I would like. What can I say? I'm a sucker for princesses, castles, different worlds, swords, and dragons.

It is a fantastic book and kept me entranced from the beginning. I wanted to keep reading, to find out what happened, hoping that everything would work out in the end. It reminded me of the Enchanted Forest Chron

This is the first book and first time I have heard of Konstanz Silverbow. I really enjoyed this book and I do look forward to reading more books from her. The cover is beautiful. I was interested in the story from the very beginning. Not ever hearing or reading any of Konstanz books I didn't know what to expect. But I was able to be drawn into the story and did not want to put the book down.

Missing Royal started off so awesome! You immediately make a connection to Shanice as she struggles with her life at school. Shanice doesn't belong there. The other students know it, and she knows it. From the beginning you see that Shanice is brave. I enjoyed her interactions with Valentino and thought they were super adorable together. I liked how this story began in the real world and later became a fantasy, filled with magic, sword fights, charming princes, evil witches, and dra

Title: Missing Royal
Author: Konstanz Silverbow
Genre: YA/Fantasy/Romance
Rating: *****
Review: The opening chapter of Missing Royal by Konstanz Silverbow was great, we are introduced to Shanice who is constantly bullied at school, an outcast and she doesn't know why. We also learn some strange things about her like the fact she hears a mysterious voice in her head and most people believe her to be mad, but in the attitude and reactions of her parents we can see that there is more to this

I really enjoyed this story. I am looking forward to the next. I am rating this a 4 star read and it is great for readers of all ages. Dive into the world of dragons, princes, pixies, and more as you travel with Shanice into a world she never knew was there.
Shanice is bullied on a regular basis by her classmates. Teachers look on with sadness and pity however she stands tall and continues on. Her mother and father are her best of friends, and her
only friends until Valentino comes along. For her

I will start off by saying that if you haven’t read anything by Konstanz Silverbow you don’t know what you are missing. Missing Royals is the second book I have read by Konstanz and it blew me away. Shanice just wants to fit in but doesn’t feel like she belongs anywhere. On her birthday her parents tell her she is a princess from another world and must go back there. It’s a world filled with magic and she is more than royalty, she is the only chance at stopping Mendina. But she can’t do it alone ...more

This book was great! It had a interesting story line and well developed characters.
The world was full of magic and interesting creatures. There's adventure, battles and enough was going on that I never got bored with the story.
The characters were lovable and easy to understand. The seemed very real and not once did they seem far-fetched. Even the 'evil' princess.
I adored these characters (mainly Javiar! I was secretly rooting for him) and I can't wait for the next book because I have to know t

Missing Royal is a book that has a lot of heart in it and you can tell that in every detail of the story. The author has really taken the art storytelling to new heights with this story that captures your heart. I really enjoyed going on this adventure to find those who have hidden from evil, had their homes destroyed by someone who is just like them.

This story has adventure, magic, dragons, princes and princess all you want in a fairy tale adventure and it does not just end it leaves you wantin

Fantastic start to a promising series

Shanice is thrown from her everyday life of attending high school and being bullied into a world where she is royalty and must find the other royals to defeat Medina, the witch who is destroying Avonthia's kingdoms.
Shanice was sent away to protect her until her 17th birthday when she must return to her destiny. She meets dragons, fairies, pixies and Mymees, who all pledge to help her along with the other royals she can find.
Absolutely loved this book

Shanice is teased, bullied and treated badly by her fellow students. Shanice doesn’t fit in and she hears a voice in her mind calling her home. Shanice doesn’t seem to fit in at home either. She knows she is different but she doesn’t know why. On her 17th birthday, Shanice and Valentino travel to Avonathia. This is a really good book. The pacing, story and writing is good. There is a lot of adventure and excitement. The characters are interesting. I enjoyed reading it. 4 stars.

I enjoyed reading this book although it could be read as a standalone the story is left open to continue with Javier who is like sleeping beauty. Hidden away in a glass casket for two hundred years. It is a good storyline and the characters are written well although it was hard forming a deep connection with them. This is a light read for all ages. The end was a bit rushed for my liking.

Good idea

Thew plot of this is surprisingly different than many lost princess stories as the heroine has skills and isn't jus a damsel in distress. That being said the love triangle is cliché and almost unnecessary.
I would recommend this to anyone who enjoys a strong female lead and lots of fantasy.

Really enjoyed the story line. Quick-paced with characters you love and hate rolled into a dynamic and entertaining read. The protagonist is relatable right along side the villain. I won't say much more for I hate to give out spoilers, but definitely a good read. I'm off to start book 2 now!

Missing Royal was not a very good read. Once I found out what was happening I mistakenly thought that this would be the first part of the story (since it was book 1). I didn't realize they would find all the missing royals and defeat the evil villain all in not very much time. It would have worked better had the story been developed more, was longer, took more time so you can really get into it.

Shanice has grown up in our world, but she never

I received an ARC copy of this book from the author in exchange for an honest review as part of a blog tour.
This was a fun story and a very cool idea, I thought there were a few holes and maybe it was my memory but I think two characters were interchanged, but this could also be due to the fact I got an ARC copy and I think these small things will be fixed in the reprint, but this is my reason for not giving the book five stars. The story as a whole was interesting and the pace was quick and it

This story starts with the main character Shanice at school being bullied. Someone puts a food bomb in her locker the result is Shanice being covered in mustard, ketchup and pickles. Later in class she hears a voice in her head it tells her " Come home, child. Your time is near. We need you here. Please, Shanice." that ends in her leaving school. But instead of going home she goes to the stables to ride star her horse and one of her best friends. Once there Valentino, friend number two, walks in ...more

This was a great book! Shanice doesn't fit in. She is mocked and disliked at school. Pranks are vicious and even the teachers pity her. Her only friend is her riding instructor whom she races on horseback daily. She also hears voices in her head and is afraid they will send her to an institution if they ever find out. Her parents are great, a bit anti-electronic but loving. Her world is changed when her parents reveal the truth about her origins and she learns of her mission.

Where to start, where to start? Missing Royal starts like any other book of this type, outcast teenage girl who doesn't seem to fit in finds out she's from somewhere else, gets home and has to save the world. This is a popular theme, and with all the ways it can be twisted and turned, it never gets tiring to read.

That's about where the similarities end though. Shanice doesn't go it alone, like in the other books of this theme. In fact, her first quest and the most important is to find the other

I absolutely loved Missing Royal. It is a perfect combination of different worlds and romance for the YA category, although it is a definite great read for someone of any age. The characters and storyline were fantastic and Missing Royal was a great read.

The characters were fun to decipher and learn more about. I really liked Shanice and Valentino, as well as Javier. I loved the chemistry between them, and can't wait to see where things go in the next books.

I loved the fantasy aspect of the book

I love this lady's style! The world she created in this book is stunning. It really was difficult to put it down. (Who needs sleep or work, right?) Shanice is an outcast, bullied throughout school for being different. She hears a voice calling to her, telling her to come home. Only she has no idea who is calling her or why. The only joy in her life are the ridding lessons her parents have set up for her, and her only friend and ridding instructor, Valentino. Her parents have given her fencing le ...more

Shanice is the girl who never fit in at school, always became the target for bullies, never had any friends and had no one brave enough to stand up for her. She sometimes heard voices that she learned to keep to herself, to avoid worrying her parents any further than they already did.

Her only friend is Valentino, her horse riding trainer, who she is developing feelings for.

Her life as she knew it came to a standstill on her seventeenth birthday when she she was told that she was given up by her

A wonderful adventure and fairy tale. The concepts and bones of the plot were great but the story itself fell short. There was so much missing and rushed that it was difficult to get into the story. The main character had been told she was supposed to save the world she was from but hasn't been there since she was born. It's not an unheard concept but the fact that she seemed to know where she was going and where to go and how to do things she's never done before was just a little too ove

Konstanz Silverbow never disappoints! Missing Royal is a perfect marriage of reality and fantasy. Her blending of the two worlds is seamless as the princess goes about her day using hashtags and pop culture references. Shanice is an impressive girl! She undergoes a sharp and sudden change of not only her lifestyle but her very person. Though it rocks her to her core, she handles it all with unparalleled finesse. She is an extremely likable, well-developed character. Javier is snarky. He’s annoyi ...more

This book was amazing! I read it during a really rough week and it was well worth it. This book had action, adventure, dragons, dungeons, princes, princesses and so much more. The characters were well written and I still can't decide who my favorite character was. I am still reeling from this story and I'm not sure what to say about it.

Konstanz has written an amazing book and I plan on reading it again and seeing all of the extra features that you don't see in the ARC. As it was an ARC there we
