This is a fast paced and action packed memoir. A compelling glimpse into the history of drug trafficking in the Gulf and the DEA’s war against the Zeta cartel. The author, a former DEA agent, gives us a fascinating first person perspective of his own experience in several major shootouts, chases, and arrests. The writing style reads like a classic action comic, which will appeal to some or come across as hyperbolic to others.

Leo Silva is an extraordinary individual whose heritage has convinced him of his destiny to fight the good fight against Mexico's violent legacy. An entertaining read, albeit a short one.
