Multiverse ballad non è un'antologia, eppure contiene racconti - o meglio, frammenti, come se un affresco immenso fosse crollato e fosse possibile solo guardarne delle parti. Non è un romanzo, eppure i richiami tra una storia e l'altra diventano via via più chiari. "L'Arcano numero zero, il Matto", è il paragone che si legge nella prefazione di Luca Tarenzi, quanto mai azzeccato.
Non ho la minima intenzione, in queste righe, di "recensire" il libro, e nemmeno di spiegarvelo. Posso dirvi però cosa

Qualcosa mi è sfuggito, in tutta onestà. Belli questi scorci (alcuni veri e propri racconti, altri solo accennati), alcuni molto lirici, ma la conclusione che avrebbe dovuto riunirli, che tardava ad arrivare, non mi ha convinto. Una buona prova, che però vale più nelle sue singole parti che nell'interezza.
