A few good quotes and some resources for beginners, but the majority of the information is generalized and somewhat repetitive. Doesn't really go in depth enough.

A bit of a throw-away read to keep my count up. Good advice, nevertheless, if the part of writing you struggle with is rejection, feelings of isolation, etc. It would have been better if it had included further creativity 'jump-starts' like writing prompts, or idea-generating practices beyond healthy eating, sleeping, and exercise.

If you've never picked up a "how to survive as a writer" book or any motivational book aimed at authors then by all means, grab this one. While it isn't a bad book, I found myself skimming liberally simply because it was such familiar territory.
