Oh, what I wouldn't give to be whisked away to a beautiful Italian villa, given a credit card and told to "divertiti" ("have fun"). Therefore, Sophia is on my women to hate list after reading AN INCONVENIENT LOVE.

When Sophia Stevens meets the impossibly gorgeous Luca Castellioni, the air is sucked out of her lungs. He seems interested in her but what would a handsome Italian millionaire want with a lowly office assistant? Sophia thinks she's gone mad when Luca proposes to her, offering her a mu

This was my first time reading Ms. Adams and I must say, I am impressed. I totally fell in love with this story. It was so moving, so sweet, so endearing. I could not turn the pages fast enough. The story was well written, powerful, captivating, sensual and romantic. The dialog was smart and well executed. The characters were interesting, believable and relatable. Handsome Italian real estate developer Luca Castelleoni was determined to make his business a success. But he need

Strong and independent, Sophia is given a proposal to marry a man she barely knows as a business arrangement. Not only that, but she moved away from everything she knows, everything that makes her comfortable, into a new country. Luca may find her attractive, but the last thing he wants is to fall in love. Yet, that’s exactly what he does, and boy was it fun watching these two fall. The perfect marriage of convenience story with well-rounded and likeable characters, with some adventure, comedy, ...more

This is an enjoyable contemporary romance with a fairy tale come to life vibe--- downtrodden maiden finding her Prince Charming.

What a delightful surprise!

I just started a new-to-me author series titled 'Inconvenient'! Very well written by Alexia Adams, I adored her book 'An Inconvenient Love' starring two beautiful characters named Luca and Sophia. It's a romantic story of trust filled with ups and downs that ends on a happy note. I strongly recommend this contemporary romance! Ms. Adams is a very descriptive writer and I almost felt I was there in Italy. One scene is very emotional.

Sophia is a beautiful young woman who

I honestly can't believe I've never read a "marriage of convenience" romance before. There's a lot out there, but this was my first experience with one. I received a giveaway copy from the author; I wanted to finally try the "marriage of convenience" trope it seems like everyone else has read.

All right, so down to business - I LOVED the heroine, which is rare for me in romance novels. Usually I like the hero mo

An Inconvenient Love is a fantastic marriage of convenience romance. To me, this story had the perfect amount of steam, a good back story and not a lot of angst. The characters are well developed and the story was well paced. I felt like this book told a story, and it wasn't over shadowed with cramming in the alloted steamy scenes that so many authors feel they need to add to sell the book. Sophia is very likeable and a strong independent woman. I liked that while she did marry for money, she ne ...more
