The King Will make a Way

Rate this book
This end-times story of faith and perseverance is an allegorical tale set in a village long ago. Gabe is the only one who knows the truth–the true King is still alive. Vulpine is determined to become king himself and will stop at nothing to force the villagers to give him their loyalty.

Will the servants of the true King fight to overthrow Vulpine? When the servants face imprisonment and death, will they switch loyalties? What will become of Gabe when Vulpine realizes he’s been teaching others about the King? Where is the true King?

Living through the daily uncertainty of plague, persecution and even martyrdom, the servants of the true King learn that there is one thing they can always be sure of–The King Will Make a Way.

It is my prayer that this book will challenge you and inspire you, not only to walk by faith but to give yourself wholly to following the King.

A compelling and captivating story written with such rich image-inducing language. This story is one that demonstrates the true test of faith, and the reward for unwavering devotion. For those in need of a faith restoration, seeking affirmation, or searching for the greater good, The King Will Make a Way is an inspirational novel bound to fill your heart with love. Action sequences, sacrifices made for love, and breath-taking suspense make this a book to be read and enjoyed by both young and old. - Jen Greene, teacher

I've had this book sitting on my shelf for quite awhile now. The author, Lee Giles, is a home school mom who designed the Easy Peasy online home school curriculum, which covers all grades and is free for anyone to use.

I've used some of the curriculum for my daughter, and was pleasantly surprised by its high standards and fun content. I was also pleasantly surprised by this book. I wasn't expecting it to be as well written, as I've read too many self published books that were rambling and in dire need of ruthless editing. Not so this one. The King Will Make a Way is a creative apocalyptic allegory which seems to be aimed at teens, but I think would be suitable for any age over 10.
The story line involves a young boy named Gabe, who lives in a village being taken over by an evil dictator named Lupine. Lupine claims the previous king of the village is dead, and so he, together with his minions, plots schemes to win the villagers over to honor him as king, even though the original king is still quite alive and real. The narrative is filled with adventure and is somewhat disturbing, but over all this book was inspiring and well written.

My kids and I love Easy Peasy All-In-One Homeschool so we were excited to read this book by its creator, Mrs. Lee Giles. This book is the final reading assignment in the Level 7 reading course. It is such a prophetic and timely book to be reading during the 2020-2021 pandemic. Though written pre-pandemic, it's very relatable with the village being afflicted with a deadly virus. My 7th grader was hooked and, despite not being a big reader, he said this was one of his favorite books he's ever read!

A powerful message within the words.
The characters were really deep and had a well-thought-out storyline. The character Vulpine represents the Devil, trying to wipe out all memory of The King, who represents Jesus/God/Holy Spirit, and Gabe is trying to obey the King while also obeying his father and mother.

beautiful story, and I would 1000% recommend for Christian communities and churches, (for I am apart of one), and is urging family and friends to read this book. A light in the darkness.
