This series just gets better and hotter with each passing book.

Malik Lewis takes center stage in this story, ex Navy Seal and best friends with Quinn and Wiz also former Navy Seals. Malik the least likely of the trio to settle down let alone fall in love with a woman but that's exactly what happened. He falls for Dr. Lockhart, the nerd and he doesn't know how he is going to make it go away or try to make her his woman.

Dr. Natasha Lockhart the youngest Hospital Chief of Staff and sister to Alandra (married to Quinn Hamilton) is all work and no play being a young prodigy she finished medical very early. Got married to her friend but because of all of the work and dedication it was taking her, the divorced and remained friends. Now Natasha is a little older and she is lonely, what is the sense of having all of these great accomplishments but yet come home to an empty house every single day.

A chance encounter in book 2 finds these two together, Natasha being reunited with her sister Alandra only to find out she has to leave the country until things cool down. Malik is seeing his best friend Quinn leave the country so that his wife can be safe. Brings Malik and Natasha together in an intense night of passion and him cooking for her. They soon go their separate ways but they are on each others minds and three months later, they will find themselves face to face with one another but for different reasons.

Malik is a man's man, he doesn't look for trouble but if it comes his way, it will be dealt with. Running a multi million dollar security firm he has little time for games or foolishness. And for the first time since seeing Natasha again he has thoughts of settling down. But a mystery filled with murder and allegations causes Malik to put things on the back burner except these troubling findings lead him straight to the hospital Natasha works at. It is a case so dangerous, it can cause the hospital to be shut down.

Natasha's best friend Layla comes to her with some troubling findings about one of the doctor's. They begin to do a investigation and take what they have already found out to the hospital board but no one is prepared for the huge fallout that is coming and with Malik now on the hospital's doorstep, Natasha understands there is no turning back.

Malik and Natasha had great chemistry together, it was genuine and never appeared forced. Natasha got on my nerves at times (I'm not going to lie) but because she literally didn't know anything else except for school and working as a doctor with very little of a social life, I let her sometimes foolish behavior slide. Malik is an Alpha through and through, he is possessive, protective of his family and friends, and will have your back. He was crazy acting when it came down to Natasha but I loved it because he was committed to making sure no harm came for her.

If you are looking for a great story full of suspense, mystery, intrigue, murder and a whole lot of loving then this story is for you. The few stories I have read by author Sharon C. Cooper has never disappointed me, she knows how to weave a tale and keep you glued to it until the very end and you will still want more LOL!!

I had read several books by this author, so I was anticipating a good book, but what caught me by surprise was how great this one was. I wanted to pace myself while reading this book, but I was hooked from the first paragraph and was saddened when I was done.

You first meet Malik and Natasha in a previous book, but believe me when I say this can be read as a standalone. The story begins with Malik, a former Navy SEAL, remembering their night of passion and, yet, you see the vulnerability in him as he questions what he and Natasha, the Hospital Chief of Staff, have in common.

As Malik’s never ending desire for Natasha refuses to wane, a situation arises bringing them both together, making one believe in divine intervention. Something mysterious is happening at the hospital; and while Natasha tries to get a handle on it, Malik, all 6 feet 8 inches of him, shows himself in her life. Malik isn’t quite sure what is more frustrating for him: the situation at the hospital, the men vying for Natasha’s attention or her stubbornness in remaining independent.

This is a classic damsel in distress story with such a refreshing edge. Although this is romance, make no mistake of the loaded suspense. You will be held hostage in your seat while Malik does all in his power to protect the lovely Natasha, who refuses to believe her life is in danger. This book is romantic suspense at its best.

This was a nice suspense/romance story. I loved everything about Malik in this story. What woman wouldn't want a guy like him. I felt sorry for Natasha's ex. It took me a moment to figure out who the bad guy was in the story. Once I did I wasn't sure why he was the bad guy but the author fills you in on it so it'll all make sense. I feel it's a book worth reading.

Mostly consequences.

I have one complaint.....why didn't Quinn and Alandra come back to help or at least see about her Sister? That to me was unreal. The story was a nail butternut it was too easy to figure out the bad guy. Also there should have more warning of Stan and Paula's romance. All in all a good read

False Results

Reading Atlanta's Finest series led me to wanting to read about the owners of Supreme Security in Chicago. First up is Malik Lewis, one of the founders and owners of Supreme Security in Chicago. I first heard of him in the Atlanta's Finest series and in another book of the Reunited Series. I finally found his book, Truth or Consequences.

Even though most of the books in the series are standalone, there are the same characters meet in different books. Malik Lewis and Natasha Lockham met in a previous book and had a one night stand. Neither can forget the other when they return to their lives in Chicago.

They meet when both are involved in murders of single mother and the illegal adoptions if their baby. Natasha is involved as Chief of Staff where single mothers are dying (murdered) during childbirth. Malik is involved when the sister of one of the dead women want to know what happened with the child.

There is the undeniable attraction (more than sex) between Malik and Natasha when they meet up again at the hospital. Malik protective instinct is brought out by everything having to do with Natasha. For a strong, intelligent woman, Natasha has some "TSTL" moments that are extremely irritating which made it harder for Malik to protect her from the danger surrounding her.

Still, this is one of the best romantic suspense books in either series. The good thing about the series is that they make me want to read the other books because but the glimpses of other characters. "Wiz" is next for me.

Where to begin?

This was truly a very suspenseful thriller that had me on the edge of my seat from the moment Tasha's assistant Layla brought her suspicions about one of the doctors to Tasha. Add to the mix that the head of the Supreme Security Agency Malik has just received a visit from the sister of one his former love interests with a story that turns out to be part and parcel of what Layla told Natasha(Tasha) about. Several deaths later, an attack on Natasha who by the way happens to be the Chief of Staff of the hospital where the doctor in question works and we run head long into a major investigation into a murder and baby stealing ring. Natasha is also now the official love interest of our hero Malik. So many twists and turns later and they solve the mystery and move forward to their happily ever after! I was not certain I would enjoy a romance thriller but this book certainly changed my mind. I loved it. Great job Ms. Cooper such a really great job.

Really good read!

Kept me engaged from start to finish! Who would have thought that the loving the right woman would bring Malik to his knees. Malik's one night stand with Natasha opened his nose so wide that he could not get her out of his even though months had passed and he had not been in contact. But fate had another plan which ended up with these two being drawn together. Through much danger, suspense and intrigue, their love blossomed. A beautiful rendition . Totally enjoyable. Read in one sitting!

This was a good story with lots of twists and turns. Even if some were predictable. I knew from the beginning that Ray- the hospital worker wasn't who is wanted everyone else to think. Natasha was naïve. She thought he was being nice. When men (Malik, Cameron, Quinn) that has been around bad people tell you a person is off, trust them. Those gut instincts have kept them alive.

Overall, it was quick enjoyable romance mystery.

Exciting Action and Sizzling Romance!
I loved the fact that the main characters, Malik and Natasha, while perfect for each other, physically beautiful, extremely intelligent, as well as very successful professionally, still had flaws and insecurities, like the rest of us mere mortals. The suspense was well written, but became a little predictable towards the end, but the book kept my interest because of the realness of all the characters, the wonderful interaction and dialogue between Malik, Natasha and the colorful secondary characters, and the very hot, hot, sensual heat between Natasha and Malik. I also fell in love with Malik's dog, Tank, who could be ferocious one moment and wanting to cuddle the next...a lot like his owner. Loved them both!

GETTING YOUR MAN

Well Ms. Cooper, you have done it again. I had no doubt that this awesome novel would be an excellent addition to the Reunited Series. The whole book was action packed adventurous, along with just enough romance mixed in to keep you reading. I want to find me a Navy Seals man. There are no words to explain how hot and sexy I thought Malik was. The only word comes to mind is YUMMY. I can barely wait for the continuing novels. I know there will be more. I can see them in this novel. Each one will be an awesome addition to this fantastic series. Kudos to you, Ms. Sharon Cooper on a job well done.

I liked the story however I felt there were several things that were not taken in consideration.
It’s hard to list them without spoiling the story.
But if a hospital had as many problems and incidents as this one does, it would be making national news for weeks. Wish I could go into greater detail, but don’t want to give it away.
Anyway....
I loved the characters especially Malik. He was hot with a capital H!!!
Natasha was also a good character but not quite strong enough to pull off the Hospital Chief of Staff staff position. It would have been more believable if she was a manager or supervisor of a department.

Excellent!!

Malik and Natasha are smoldering together! The chemistry is undeniable; the element of danger keeps you on the edge, but the relationships with all the characters were the deciding factor of giving this book 5 Stars.

When you can intertwine people's lives and it not feel so thrown together or unnecessary, you have a winner. Of course, the love scenes were beyond hot but there was so much more to them than gratuitous sex.

Malik made Natasha feel cherished and she made him want to move mountains for her....Kudos to the author!!!

Tasha and Malik white collar meets blue collar

Here I thought I enjoyed Alandra and Quinn's story the most. However, the story of Tasha and Quinn had that extra element that had me rooting for them as a couple. Lots of twist and turns. The back story of the adoptions and how it started with Layla was interesting twist. Especially how Malik getting involved was all do to his sultry past.
