Jamie Godwin thought she was ready. She'd fantasized and planned, daydreamed about bringing her wildest fantasy to fruition. When her wish to become a man for a day comes true, Jamie steps into a world of new possibilities - a world that threatens everything she thought she knew about herself and pushes the boundaries of friendship past where even she dared to dream.

This book was given to me for free by the author an honest review.

It's strange because my friends here on GR and I were having the same discussion the other day. How would we spend the day if we were suddenly able to become men for 24 hours and that is the premise of this book.

Jamie, a girl, wants to experience what it would be like to be a man for 24 hours. One morning she does indeed wake up male. Her goal is to find out what it would be like to have gay sex. She enlists her gay friend, Brian,

Warning: The following may contain spoilers. Couldn't get everything I wanted to say out without them! So, yeah, sorry!

umm... This is difficult. This was certainly unique and different. I am not sure... There is homoerotic content in this book, but I am not sure I would classify it as MM... so, yeah... difficult...

Jamie and Brian are in their mid twenties and have been friends for years. Both are single and oh yeah, Ja

When I first read the blurb for this novella I was like hmmm not sure if this is something I want to read. Mainly because I couldn't figure out how it could be classified as m/m romance. Well it is, with a nice little twist!

Oh this was a really good novella and I really wish it was a full length novel; I would like to know what happened the next day.

This story was funny and very thought provoking in my opinion a

I received a free copy of this book in exchange for an honest review in the "Don't Buy My Love" in the M/M Romance group.

I have to say that I actually liked this book. However I have a bit of trouble with fully placing this book in the M/M Romance category. I'll try to explain myself a little better.

This book introduces us to a girl called Jamie, who is an avid M/M Romance reader, and gay porn fan - While I was reading this book I couldn't help but identify myself A LOT with her, and I

Jamie is a 25y/o woman who adores gay men. She loves reading gay romance and watching gay films--not only porn. Her best friend Brian is a gay man. They have been close ever since she jumped into a mob of kids bashing Brian in high school. Now, ten years later, Brian is confused about his feelings for Jamie--he loves her dearly, and wishes he could meet a man just like her. Jamie has an i

A free copy of this book was provided by the author in exchange for an honest review.

First off, I must say I don’t really think this is an M/M book. Why? The main protagonist is a woman who makes a wish to be a man for a day. Hence, she is not really male, though she has all the man parts. So yes, this book did rouse certain conflicted thoughts, but regardless of that, I LOVED IT.

Five stars is the highest I can go, but I’d give it ten if there was such an option. I absolutely, utterly adore this

I hate giving out low reviews for books that I read so I will review it just to explain why it wasn't for me.

I liked the concept. I would imagine most women have wondered what it would be like to be a man for a day. The fun you could have with a different set of genitals and how other men and women may appear to you.

When Jamie makes this wish it actually comes true, she wakes up with what she thinks are monthly cramps but discovers a flat chest, facial hair and a penis! All she

I still don't know how I feel about this book. It was both beautiful and kind of disturbing. But while I didn't love it, I sure did think about it and probably will continue to do so for quite a while.

This was an odd little story about a straight woman and her gay BFF. Jamie is a believer that everyone needs to have that someone special, and she has been looking for someone for her friend Brian. She has been reading gay romances, and watching gay porn for her own amusement, which leads her to have a discussion with him one night about how she wishes that she knew what it was like to have a penis and be a man. She casually makes a wish on an eyelash that she could be a man for a day, and wakes ...more

I got this for free in exchange for an honest review.

This book was unusual but really good I really felt the struggle of Jamie who wishes to be a man for one day adjusting to the changes. I thought it hilarious that she tried to do things like she always did.

When Brian, who is her best friend, and Jamie get together for sex it is hot and romantic.

My major problem with it was that there were words missing and other grammatical errors that distracted yet not bad enough to throw me off stride.

I received a copy of this book via the Goodreads' Don't Buy My Love program in exchange for an honest review.

This is a must read for female fans of M/M romance. It gives you a completely different perspective.

This story starts out with best friends, Jamie (F) and Brian (M), sharing dinner. After Jamie's wish to be a man for a day comes true it is Jamie's goal to experience sex with a man.

I really enjoyed this story and would love to see a continuance of it in the future.

I was given this book by the author through the M/M Romance Group’s ‘Don’t Buy My Love’ program for an honest review. This story is told in first person through the eyes of Jamie Godwin, a girl who gets her wish to experience life as a male for a day. I’d classify this as a realistic, contemporary story with a magical twist. Jamie has a best gay friend, Brian Cook, who’s she crazy about and he for her. This is the story of what happens when Jamie gets her wish and how it affects their relationsh ...more

Interesting concept. Well enough written but nothing outstanding.

Recommended for a light easy read; a bit of an escapism. One person's idea of what it would be like to live as the opposite sex for a day.

I read. I write. I talk too much and don't blog nearly as much as I should. And my muse consists of several voices in my head with a moody ringleader. Don't be scared of the voices. They mean well (most of the time).

I write romance, erotic romance, fantasy, mainstream fiction and the rare spiritual fiction.
