Third Save: Rescued From Death, Living In Joy

Rate this book
Kristy Sheridan survived a deadly plane crash and a sixty-foot plummet off a cliff
before she learned to seek God’s will over her selfish desires. The crash of American
Airlines Flight 1420 broke Kristy’s neck and stripped away the identity she found in her
prized career. A decade later, she broke her neck again when she fell more than sixty
feet down a canyon in Germany.

Still, Kristy’s faith remained stagnant.

When she finally chose to seek God’s will over her own, she found her real identity in
Christ. This helped her accept responsibility for her role in a thirty-year estrangement
with her only surviving sibling. Once overachieving and proud, Kristy now leads a
llife of reconciliation, service work, and spreading God’s love and compassion.About the Kristy Flertzheim Sheridan

Reads as though you’re sitting with a dear friend and sharing an intimate conversation. Some things you already feel like you knew but didn’t realize those small and ultimately significant details impact her future. Slyly subtle and impactful.

This true story is more than a disaster story. Family dynamics and healing tugged at my heart-strings and had me rooting for Kristy and her family. Leaning about fetal alcohol syndrome and the associated life-long struggles was also interesting.

Favorite quotes from the book:
“My cries were only whispers. But angels have extraordinary hearing.”
“Broken, imperfect, but worth saving.”
“But superstition means nothing when we believe God is everything.”

Tragedies lead to triumph, growing faith, and trust in God. I highly recommend this book.
P.S. It didn’t make me afraid to fly.

I was given this book but was not required to review it. I liked it so much I chose to post my opinion.

Kristy Sheridan has put her incredible story into an amazing book. It is a quick read that is difficult to
put down.

Sometimes God whispers to us, and sometimes he has to use a bigger stick to get our attention.

After a broken neck sustained in a plane crash, ten years later a fall off a cliff more than sixty feet down - Kristy's faith remained stagnant.

When she finally chose to seek God's will over her own, her life changed.

In Third Save, you will read about the incidents that caused this tremendous change and how it happened. Having faith or belief in God, versus being ‘all in’ will change the trajectory of your life.

The book is available now on Amazon.

I love stories where God rescues us from ruin to use us for His purposes. I also love stories where God transforms us to our best. This book has both, plus more! An amazing true story of a remarkable woman who experienced two devasting, near-death experiences and the beauty God reaped from her ashes. I definitely recommend this one!

This is a book about how this author survived a plain crash and then how she found her way to Christ. I really enjoyed reading this book and feel for what this author went through. It is a fast paced hard to put down book that you don't want to miss. It will help you understand that there is help out there when you truly need it. I highly recommend this book.

Kristy Sheridan survived a plane crash and then a 60-foot fall. She suffered physically. Mentally. Her entire worldview changed. A woman who once prided herself in her professional achievements no longer knew who she was. Maybe others can relate. And that's why I found this book so refreshing. Tragedy happens. So what to do you do with it? Sheridan and co-writer, Larry Leech, share her heartfelt insights in this hard-to-put-down narrative. A well-written, compelling read. Highly recommend.

The author survived a plane crash and a cliff fall, but her pride didn’t survive the third save. A fascinating braided story about God’s patient prodding and loving guidance toward humility for both the author and her troubled brother, surrender, trust, and dependence in prayer, studying His word, gratitude, repentance, owning shortcomings, forgiving others and reconciliation. We can never get enough stories like this.

Kristy Sheridan has a special talent for telling her remarkable story with grace and humility. I was especially interested since I was involved with the airline response to the accident Kristy survived. She provided me the opportunity to experience those terrifying moments as if I was in the seat next to hers.

There’s much, much more to her incredible journey that I will leave for readers to discover. Highly recommend this book.

A powerful story of faith, hope, extraordinary experiences, and much more. God has a purpose for each of His creations. Sometimes, we recognize those purposes quickly and other times, we learn through the events of our lives. Excellent reminder that God has a plan in every moment. I received a complimentary copy of the book. No review was required.

I enjoyed this story filled with tidbits of wisdom as we learn about the amazing way God has saved Kristy's life and brought her to a greater understanding of God and life. I love that Kristy was real and willing to share the struggles and things that went wrong as well as what went well.
