NATASCHA AND MAX Raffifi, recently orphaned and new to England, are adjusting nicely to their new life. Anything's better than being on the run. Especially being reunited with their little black-and-white dog, Grk, and living with their friend, Tim.
But one afternoon, Natascha sees a familiar name in the newspaper headlines. The infamous Pelotti brothers are on a crime streak in Brazil. This gang of criminal masterminds has only ever been captured once - by her father. To avenge his senseless death, Natascha and Max know they have to act.
Setting off in the middle of the night, the Raffifis, with Tim and Grk at their side, arrive in Rio de Janiero ready for action. But they find more trouble than they bargained for
Grk and the Pelotti Gang is a super-fun second book in a really wonderful series. Of course, I had a small problem with children just hopping on a plane and flying halfway around the world without the permission of any parents. But other that, I highly enjoyed this new Grk book.
I was a little shocked to find that Max and Natascha were not really in the book very much. Instead, we get to learn all about Zito, who at first I didn't like very much because he kidnapped Tim, but ended up liking as the story progressed. Joshua Doder has created quite a brave, little boy in Timothy Malt and his trusty sidekick, Grk the dog.
I really liked this storyline and found the Pelotti Gang to be quite ruthless. Grk is pretty smart and picks the right time to chomp on the bad guys. That made me laugh each time.
Overall, Grk and the Pelotti Gang is a great story in a series that just keeps getting better. I cannot wait to read the next story with Tim and his little dog in Grk and the Hot Dog Trail. It sounds absolutely delicious.
This book Grk and the Pelotti Gang is about a boy name Tim Malts and his dog name Grk. Grk is not no ordinary dog you know, he is your best friend who loves to solve mysteries and gets himself in the worst case scenarios. Tim and his parents along w/ his friends Natasha and Max, the owners of Grk, goes all over the world solving mysteries they wasn't attending to do. In this book the Malts, Natasha, Max, and Grk goes to Brazil where they find out three brothers that call themselves the Pelotti Gang is back in town robbing and causing trouble again. The youngest Pelotti brother is the most craziest his real name is Felipe Pelotti. In the story Max and Grk bump into the Pelotti's a lot now its just one question would they stop the Pelotti's or die?
