Both of the books in this series have been quick, short reads. We were introduced to four Marine's: Levi, Declan, Sebastian and Cole in Duty Bound. This book is Sebastian's story.

Sebastian has always felt like an outsider when it comes to his family. He's an only child and has no interest in wearing a suit or taking over the family business, which disappoints his father. When he returns from duty, he opens a security/investigation firm with the rest of the guys. He's hired by one of his father's

I so thoroughly enjoying this series all so much. As soon as I saw the second book, Honor Bound out I just knew how I much I wanted to read it! I loved this book even better than the first. I have so many thanks to Both Samantha Chase and to Noelle Adams for their amazing series called The Protectors.

When Ali Cooper who worked for a Party Planning company was asked to work for and under the wealthiest family in town, the Maxwell's she knew things for her just didn't seem right. Especially know h

I love seeing these two authors come together. They write amazing books on there own but when they come together it's extraordinary. There was something about Sebastian that I could help but fall in love with. I love when characters personality's comes to life with just a few written words I felt that way about both Sebastian and Ali. I absolutely loved this book.

Review: This is the second book in the Protector's series, and it continues the four friends' stories with Sebastian. Sebastian comes from money, but he has been fighting his family's expectations of him his whole life, which is what led to his joining the military to begin with. He enlisted and became good friends with Gavin, Declan, Cole and Levi. Now, the group is down one after Gavin's death while on a mission. Each man is trying to figure out what his life looks like, now that the

Why did I read Honor Bound when I didn't like Duty Bound very much? Well I thought I would give these authors another chance. Maybe with different characters I would enjoy the story more. Luckily this worked out for me as I enjoyed this story much more than the first one.

Ali's life was ruined by the Maxwell's. She has had to give up her college dreams and everything really to take care of her family. She works a ton and just tries to get by. Wh

I’m not sure why and I can’t put my finger on it, but I think I enjoyed Honor Bound even more than I did Duty Bound. Book two in The Protectors series brings us Sebastian’s story as he strives to break away from the family business and make a name for himself. The security business he, Levi, Declan and Cole are starting up plays a huge part in how Sebastian plans to make his own way. Unfortunately, his current assignment was gained due to his father’s business contacts and he finds himself “prot ...more

This was a great book full of steam, suspense, heart ache, revenge, and learning to trust again. This series continues among this group of friends with Sebastian.

She has been the breadwinner in her family for a while ever since her father was laid off. Along with him being an alcoholic, she has two teenage siblings she is helpi

Dear Sebastian,

I love the way that you and Ali met and the subsequent run-ins afterwards. Ali sure likes to show you her ass, huh? I think the way that you guys became better friends with each new run in and when you decided to take your attraction to her a step further was sweet and realistic.
I think that your family sucks ass and I wish that you didn't have to deal with them or that they would've seen the light while you were away, just like you had wished. I hate that your dad thi

Great book. Ali was an assistant to an event planner. She was the breadwinner in her family ever since her father was laid off years before. He got depressed and now he drinks all day and watches tv. She has an eighteen year old brother and a fifteen year old sister and she takes care of them both. Her father used to work for Maxwell Enterprises before he was laid off and all his benefits taken away as well as his pension, so Ali blames them and Ken Gentry his partner, for her father's problems. ...more

Second book in the “Protector Series”, Samantha Chase and Noelle Adams, dish out another pleasing and delightful story, “Honor Bound” featuring an appealing and protective Sebastian and a young and likable Ali.

Always wanting to do the right thing, yet standing up against any injustice meted out, Sebastian is one guy any girl would fall hopelessly in love with. Loyal and with unconditional support for his fellow Marines, I like the way he corrects the wrong done by his affluent Maxwell family.

I received this book from its coauthors and Paranormal Romance and Authors That Rock. Second book in the Protectors Series. Sebastian Maxwell has made it his life mission to be his own man despite is family name and prove himself to his father. Figuring his new security business with friends will do that while taking up a security job for his father's friend however, the last thing he expected was to find love. The premise behind the Protector series is a group of friends that came out of the military together & are forming a security business. "I received a free copy of this book to read and review for Wicked Reads."

This is the second in the series, and whilst it could be read as a stand alone, it would be greatly enhanced by having read "Duty Bound" first.

The 'born to wealth' Sebastian is the next of the four returning Marines to flirt with romance; in this case with assistant party organiser Ali. They meet when he is doing a security job for the men's newly formed firm. In spite of familial issues they are attracted to each other.

Sebastian Maxwell came from a wealthy family. His father wanted him to take his place at the family's company but Sebastian had other plans. He joined the Marines. Even that didn't impress his father. When Sebastian came home he started a security business with some of his marine buddies. With a connection from his father they landed a job working security for an event. There he meets Ali. Their attraction is undeniable but Ali has her own ag

This review is made with reading Honor Bound, and Honor Bound only and without background to any characters from Duty Bound. That being said, I LOVE THE BOOK and I might just jump to the first one.

I am head over heels over Sebastian. His protective nature is so hot. This rich guy who is in line to a rich family but not caring about any of it is to fall for. On the other hand, Ali Cooper, the breadw

How far will you go to avenge someone you love? In Honor Bound Ali risks losing everything, including her heart. With this novel I found every revelation to be better than the one before. Ali may be in over her head but the sacrifices that she makes lead her to not only answers but also love. Ali and Sebastian's story is one about learning to trust your instincts, risk your heart and all that you hold dear. This story was just as good as Duty Bound but had more of a edge of your seat feel to it.

I really like this series.

The hero are ex marines that are coming home trying to deal with losing one of there mates/brother and back to life without the marines

Sebastian is awesome in this book, he comes from money and just wants to be his own person. The Heroine has been through lots in her short life and is connected to Sebastian's family business in a bad way.

I had to love her as her name was Alison :)

This is the second book in the series and I enjoyed this more than book one.

This is Sebastian's story. After the death of their friend Gavin, the guys decide to start a security business. On a job Sebastian meets Ali. Ali is working undercover to find justice for her father. I really loved the attraction and the chase between Sebastian and Ali.

Really looking forward to reading more about these hot sexy men.

I've enjoyed just about everything I read by Noelle Adams, but these co-authored works aren't working so well for me. This one was better than the first in the series, but the heroine was a bit naive and selfish. And the hurtful behavior at about the 70% mark was really childish.
