5 STARS!! Wow, this was such a thrilling and good ending to this trilogy!!! I loved it all!! The build up to that epic ending had me scared yet hopeful along with the characters!! Margot was amazing and I ended up loving Milo too, and their romance!! I loved the world in this trilogy and the system of magic with the birds. The crows and ravens were terrifyingly cool and it was so well written. The whole series had a Love & Deepspace vibe and I really enjoyed it. I mentally casted Caleb as Milo and Sylus as Knox, which was ahh! Bittersweet but perfect. I loved this series and am so happy I found it!! I was very happy with the way it ended!! I highly recommend!! 5 stars!! 🐦‍⬛❤️

My least favorite of the series but I still loved it. There were more typos than the other books I think. While everything was tidied up in the end, it was almost too "easy", "convenient"? Either way, I loved how different this series was and enjoyed the sci-fi aspects.

What a great conclusion! The only thing I would change: there were some big reveals about the characters' past, and while they clicked perfectly within the story, I wish they got a little more space. They would have hit extra hard! Same for the magic system, I would have liked a little more detail.
I found the editing better than book 2. Please give book 2 some editing love, too 🥹
Margot and Milo will remain with me for a while, their story really gripped me ❤️

what an ending to a series in fell in love with on chance.

This is the final book in the trilogy and I enjoyed it, Milo and Margot are on the run, having been deposed by Knox, Milo's crazy cousin. He has managed to frame Milo for multiple murders. They flee to Lavenai to join the rebels and to try and overthrow Knox and the oppressive regime once and for all.

It was a pacy read. I really enjoyed the whole series, I thought the combination of sci fi and magic was refreshing and different. Milo has a huge redemption arc, as do a couple of the other characters. Milo truly loved Margot, in spite of them being on opposing sides and he feels true remorse over his treatment of her in the earlier books. It has a HEA, a satisfactory but realistic ending, the villains get their just deserts and the future for Ashtanabo and Lavenai looks brighter.

I'm sorry to be saying goodbye to this world and I hope that the author might revisit in time as there are interesting support characters that I feel would merit their own adventures. If you like magical sci fi, rebels, high stakes romance and plenty of drama then this one is for you.

Do be warned though that its an often gory read with the frequent use of torture, on page and implied. If you are squeamish then be careful.

I think my major problem with this trilogy was how adamant everyone was that Margot slept with Milo willingly while her memories were gone. If she had known the truth, she wouldn’t have slept with him, he erased her memories.. manipulated her, it was 100% sexual assault, tf.

And the happily ever after? Girl, he had you TORTURED. I love a good dark romance but what the fuck? He had all of his proditors come in and take turns infiltrating her mind, breaking her, cutting her open, she was left a gigantic permanent scar on her back.

Side note: Knox, Crux, Onyx.. the names annoyed me.

Onyx being basically pardoned at the end too? He was a bitch boy and also deserved to die or at least be imprisoned. Idk this last book was lazy.

I think the trilogy would be good for anyone who likes romantasy and wants to get into sci-fi romance. Although, I use the term romance lightly, there wasn’t a lot of romance happening, just lots of sexy time.

I’ve been cheering for Milo and Margot from the very start, and I loved how their story unfolded with some spice and vengeance. Give me a book any day with a fierce, resilient FMC who's been through hell but refuses to back down and a MMC who’d burn the world to the ground for her. Add in a delicious enemies to lovers arc that builds up to a well earned spicy scene, and I’m all in!

The concept of the Owls, Finches, and Doves really caught my attention, and I’m seriously hoping for a spin off because I need more of these characters in my life. I also really appreciated the addition of multiple POVs in this installment, it added depth and kept the story moving effortlessly. I thought the ending was perfect, but is it too much to hope this isn’t the last book?

A satisfying conclusion to the trilogy, for the most part. Read about how I expected it to from this author, which is on the whole good but sometimes a series of conveniences strung together. There were also a rather noticeable number of typos in the ebook.

I'm not sure why we bothered going into the real story behind the death of Milo's father in this book. We as the readers now know and can have closure but Milo doesn't and that feels a bit like a loose end.

I'm giving it 5 stars because it was a good finish to the series. It wasn't my favorite of the 3 books, but I still ate it up. There were some plot points that surprised me and didn't seem to follow the bread crumbs left in the other books. But a solid conclusion to a very interesting story. Caution- there is torture and spice.

Excellent 3rd book to end the series. Dimitris story, though heart breaking, made the direction go where it needed. I would be lying if I didn’t cry. This book had an overall satisfying ending, though of course I have some notes. There were some notable writing/grammatical errors that made it seem like this was not proofread. Some characters spoke exactly the same, that didnt give them a unique identity. That is mostly why I had liked Analis character so much because she was unique. I also feel like there was too much spur of the moment convenience. Knox’s character was a bit too powerful, like could he actually read minds? Or just intuition to a point of almost god-like? Milo never found out the truth of his father’s death and Alarik’s “crimes” were thrown to the side. Dune’s story also sort of just ended with no closure of his character. Same for Oliver and Anali, and honestly even Joriel. I was hoping we would see more Oliver and Anali POV, and even some closure from Joriel but that was just tossed as well. With this being the shortest book, some of these loose endings could have been tied. If these loose ends were tied it would have been an easy 5 stars. However, even with my grievances I would definitely recommend this trilogy to others. Overall 4.5 for the whole series. I love Milo’s character development and that Margot is a true embodiment of a powerful woman.
