I really appreciate Jim and Lynne Jackson’s approach to parenting. They have very practical and balanced principles and approaches. This book is very similar to their other book, Discipline That Connects, but broader, covering more than just discipline and correction, but the family culture as a whole. Both books are great reads that I’ll return to when I’m needing some guidance.

This book is filled with straight parenting gold! I have no doubt reading this book has already had a direct impact in our house. Each chapter is focused and have many relatable examples and realistic action steps that I can try that same day. When I read this book, I felt the feeling of not being alone as a parent. I truly cannot recommend this book more.

Really was challenged a lot by this book. I don't give a lot of 5 star reviews, but this one definitely earned it. Good for parenting...and life in general!
