WOW WEEEEEE! I can easily say that Song of the Highlands is EXACTLY what I crave when reading a Scottish romance. This was one of those reads where the story line just keeps going and it never gets boring. There was ALWAYS something happening! There were also several other romances taking place with some of

An overall enjoyable historical romance that had sweet and steamy romance and quite a few secrets, Song of the Highlands was a good read. It wasn't perfect, but I liked it and enjoyed reading it.

This book started off strong. I was totally engaged in the story and the characters. Morgana was stronger than she appeared at first glance. And, she was kind and an overall likable character. Robert came off as a jerk at first, tending to be blunt and coarse and seemingly unconcerned that he had ruined

Morgana Cambel was quite a beauty. She was in love with Robert MacVie, Highland Laird. Robert’s clan was broke and his interest was in Morgana’s sister, Vika, who had a sizable dowry. Unfortunately, Morgana could not express her love because she was unable to talk. When Morgana was a young girl, a tragic event had frightened her so, she could not talk. Due to a trick Vika played, Morgana and Robert were caught in a compromising circumstance that forced them to wed. Many problems arose from this ...more

From the beginning the plot and characters grabbed my attention. The research that went into writing this book is amazing. When an author takes the time to search and use the actually words during the era that shows they are more concerned with the writing than just publishing anything.

I knew before starting this book was erotic, it this reader it borders on the old school bodice rippers.

Starting out readers see that Morgana has an infatuation with Robert. She

Never Disappointed with K.E. Saxon.

This deserved well over 5 Stars. I have read all of her Medieval books.
K.E. Saxon never disappoints me with her books. I love all of her Medieval Highlander books.

This story of Robert McVie and Morgana was supreme in my opinion. Robert McVie who had always been known to bed anything with a skirt could have never imagined what would happen with a surprise twist in his plans. He has to obtain coin to help his clan and get them out of the dire situation in which h

Sexy but crude boy is tricked into sleeping with the wrong girl who happens to be a mute. She blows his mind with the intimacy they have together, and is almost everything he ever wanted in a woman. Too bad she wasn't rich to help him save his clan. The backstory has the reader discovering why Morgana is mute from childhood, and watching as her brutish husband begins to appreciate her and wants to protect her from her past.

I did not enjoy this title like Saxon's other Highland series. The charac

Nice read

Nice read

I liked the story but it did lose me a few times it was a slow read in the beginning but it got better towards the middle and the ending was better. The story tended to go on with long drawn out details instead of getting to the point it got better.

The beginning of the story was engaging but it began to wander so that I skimmed through at lest half before giving up about a third of the way through. It did have great sex scenes, but it wasn't enough to get through all the plot in the second half of the book.
