A dying father and a new ally—it’s time for Jake’s hardest test yet.
Even with the shaky truce with Ramona, Jake’s life inside the Nine Circles is hardly peaceful. Samael the sorcerer is still out there, and his next move threatens the very existence of the Nine Circles, right down to the fabric of time itself.
That’s not the only trouble that’s brewing though. From disgruntled archlords to vengeful angels, Jake and his friends, including the beautiful Amara Hightower, will have their hands full trying to keep the demonic realm intact.
Especially when one explosive bombshell destroys one of his closest allies.
The saga continues with book four of Demon Lord Academy!
Hey there! I'm Shane, and I love writing fantasy. I've been reading fantasy all my life, and I've always wanted the chance to tell the stories that I wanted to share. So here I am! With my stories, you can expect a fleshed-out and detailed world full of interesting characters that you can't help but root for. Thanks for checking me out, and I hope you enjoy my work!
MC is as dense as usual. I'm glad things are staying consistent. I found it pretty funny, and ironic, in that one scene where MC is watching a movie with one of the girls, and she complains about how predictable it is, and he agrees, meanwhile they are both unaware that they are in quite a predictable story themselves. Take Mr. Woods as the surprise bad guy for example. Who didn't see that one coming? Maybe if Shane Hammond hadn't spent at least one sentence in every paragraph where MC and Woods are together having MC talk about how great Woods is, and how much he trusts and likes him. Sigh. And hey MC, how about not doubting the character of one of your professors solely because he hates your guts. There's literally no other evidence that Prof Tolsen is a traitor but because he's an asshole and hates MC, oh it must be him, out of everyone else at the bloody school including tons of people you don't even know. At least the story is pretty good, i can't wait to see how they fix their current conundrum.
Returning to this series after a couple months, it was overall not bad. Jake didn't feel as annoying this time (or I've just reached acceptance). Emma is little annoying but she is also the catalyst of the better sex scenes (the felcher), so I guess that balances. Unfortunately, the villains continue to be subpar (the sorcerer's convoluted Flashpoint plan was ridiculous). Also, why can't Jake go five minutes without getting cursed? Anyway, apparently there are two more books after this and I am mildly interested in seeing how it all shakes out.
Great storytelling with lots of plot twists and turns . The story is easy to read because the spelling, grammar and proofreading was well above very good. The hero is really heroic and his harem are dedicated and have his back. Even when all seems lost they rise up to do what’s right. Looking forward to book five!
Wow, the intensity of the story has greatly increased
The obstacles facing the main characters are astronomical and feeling overwhelming. The author has done an excellent job of setting a vast number of action points moving at the same time and keeping the reader rabid for answers. Book 5 will be tremendous.
This series gets better and better as it goes along , the characters are all well developed and it's been good to see their progression. I hope the author continues in this manner and gives this series what it deserves.
A very interesting and fun series to read!! Lots of interesting twists and turns and definitely non typical positions for good and bad, light and dark!!!
Demon War vs the Angels!!! Let's Go!!!!! When do we get to see Jake eat these people? Loved the part where he riped them to pieces, but I need a good dragon meal too. Lol
Wow, this story just keeps getting better and better. With each book, the action and intruge just keep increasing. These books are beginning to be some of the best books that I've read. And I've read quite a lot of books.. Time to get book 5.
