4 stars!

I requested this from NetGalley because I'm sucker for sports romance, especially romances that revolve around American football. I wasn't expecting much since I always end being disappointed with them but this one was a pleasant surprise.

Cassie Wainwright came to Santa Fe to meet her biological father for the first time. He's the head of the Santa Fe Bobcats. The night before Cassie's scheduled meeting with her father, she met Trey Owens at a nightclub and spent one passionate night w

I loved this! it was a surprise, to be honest. I was expecting maybe some useless drama but this was sweet, sexy and lovely all at the same time. I loved Trey, he was so determined to win over Cassie. He was so sexy, so cute at times and endearingly honest with his feelings--most of the time!
I also really loved Cassie. I find I have problems with heroines lately. They're either too brash, too bitchy, whiny or super stubborn. Cassie was a perfect mix of smart, successful, kind, sexy, swe

3.5 - Come over to the nerd side. We have Pi. Stars!

One Night With A Quarteback is book one in Jeanette Murray’s new series ‘The Santa Fe Bobcats’. I have been a fan of Jeanette’s books since I stumbled across her ‘Sempre Fi’ series last year and feel in love with it, so the prospect of a new series based around American Footballers makes me a happy girl.

He had his secrets. She had hers.

I really liked parts of this book; Trey and Cassie when they were together were great, and the whole not 100%
5 Cassie and Trent Stars

This book really got under my skin - in a good way. I think Cassie is a lovely heroine and her determination to fit in with her new family was both heartbreakingly sweet and endearing. Her Father was irritating & I wanted him to really step up for his new daughter was a long wait! Trent is a sweet hero for the most part but he did act like an idiot at the point of conflict but redeemed himself well. Trent is a Quarterback in the NFL - he is driven and determined
Wow! There was so much I loved about this book! The main character Cassie is awesome. She is such a sweetheart. She just wants to get to know her dad and develop a relationship with him. She is patient when a lot of people would just walk away. She is kind and sweet but still has an edge to her. I love that she is a nerd and wears nerdy t-shirts. I love Trey and how their relationship develops- he is sweet and so sexy. I love the supporting characters, especially Steven. I loved the sexy scenes. ...more

Oh I totally LOVED it! Damn the rest of the series not being out yet. Not sure whose blog I saw it on but yay so glad I picked it up. Seriously didn't want this one to end. So damn good.

OMG I want MORE!!! I flipping loved One Night with a Quarterback. things! Sports romance, hot sex, a little family drama and long lost relatives, awesome friendships and just fantastic a heroine and hero who I loved spending time with as their one night stand got...a littl
An overdramatic sport-romance with a very likeable hero and a heroine that at times was a true doormat.. It wasn't bad, it wasn't great but in my own opinion the author has great potential.

The book starts when Cassie and her best friend decide to have fun the last day of her 'freedom' before she goes to meet her father. That night unbeknownst to her she meets the quarterback of the team her father coaches, Trey. And the story begins..

He is not a playboy, he has good manners, is sweet and loveabl
I really liked the hero. Trey's not your typical manwhore who's running away from commitment. He is a famous quarterback, but he doesn't enjoy the attention it comes with. He was loyal and didn't give up easily.

I was also loving the heroine in the beginning. But after she meets her father, she just kind of deflates. Come to think of it, the girl I read the first chapter about, the one who was dancing without a care in the world at the club, who wanted Trey and went after him, she was totally dif

Received an ARC for review

I so enjoyed this book. It was sexy and funny. I literally lol'ed at in some places. I loved her tshirt collection, her bff and his teammates. Step-mama needs to go away. Boy was she a grump. I thought it took a little to long for them to "meet" but that's just me. The next book is the kicker's HEA who we don't see much of in this book. I really want Josiah and Stephens books. Oh and can Anya get a football player too?
This started out great and I liked the couple, but it dragged on too long and the twists were predictable. The family drama was not handled in an interesting way and I wish the heroine hadn't had a lapse in backbone midway through the book.

Ohhhh, One Night with a Quarterback was FUN. I mean, look at that cover. I was a done deal when I spied that lovely man candy. I also happen to adore a good sports romance. It also helped that I was in the middle of another very intense, darkish read, and the fact this was sexy and fun was exactly what I needed.

Trey Owens wants to lay low. As an NFL quarterback, he's used to being analyzed and criticized on the field. But when it comes to his personal life? He's over it. Over the speculation and

4 stars - Yummy Trey just gets Cassie and that makes this story special!

One look at the cover and this book had my interest. I so love football and romance books. Then I read the blurb and was so on board. Coaches long lost daughter hooking up with his quarterback? Yeah, that's gonna be fun. And it was.

Cassie doesn't know sports so she knows nothing about football. Not recognizing the starting quarterback for the Santa Fe Bobcats was not going to happen even if he hadn't wore the cute frames he
Can't decide between 3 1/2 and 4 stars

Cassie grew up in a single parent household thinking her father just didn't want to be in her life. After her mother's bout with cancer she learns that he didn't even know she existed. Cassie drives to meet him and his family; the night before the meeting she needs to relieve stress and dances her heart out at a club catching the eye of Trey.

This is a fabulous opener to a new series. Who can resist a gorgeous Quarterback? Not I and Trey Owens is a sheer delight; sexy, determined and funny the man is simply adorable and when he encounters a lady in a nightclub who hasn't a clue who he is, he's in heaven. Cassie Wainwright is letting her hair down before meeting the father and family she never knew about. One night of fun. That's all it is.

Yeah right. No story if that was the case and their one night of pleasure leads to a whole chain
Ehhh.. 3.5... It's a cute story.. Simple love story.. I liked the playfulness between the main characters I wish there was more of that in the book.. Cassie was a strong heroine she knew what she wanted and was playful not afraid to be herself and Trey was a sweet caring and not the typical athlete you read about.. Humble character and I liked that.. Their relationship was believable.. It wasn't Insta love but it developed quickly.. The supporting characters were a fun add.. Treys friends are th ...more

I love football…don’t get me wrong…but I am not sure that I could pick out one player or another…especially on a team I don’t follow. Never mind, if it was baseball or rugby or soccer. So I loved this meet cute idea…famous football player meets clueless new to town woman and instant chemistry. One Night with a Quarterback was such a good read, I really enjoyed it :)

From the moment Cassie and Trey meet I was drawn in, I couldn't stop reading.
Their attraction was instant but very believable, loved their chemistry and how accepting and supportive they were of each other.

Another major plus for me was that this wasn't an instant love, while the attraction was instant the author took time to develop the relationship.

I loved Cassie, I really connected to her and I admired how she han

I love sport romances and I fell in love with this book and Trey/Cassie. It had a fabulous story line that you caused you to fall in love with all of the characters. I haven’t read any of Jeanette’s books before this one so I wasn’t sure what to expect from her, so I decided to request this book and give it a try. I was not disappointed and I can’t wait to read more about the secondary characters from this book.

I enjoyed my first read by Jeanette Murray. It was an emotional ride following Cassie's journey into the life of her recently found father. Not knowing who he was all her life she makes the trip to meet him & his family for the first time ever, but before that happens she has a one night of unadulterated fun with a handsome stranger. Trey wasn't looking for anyone but when he met Cassie he fell hard & kept falling. They were only supposed to be a one night stand but when they accidentall ...more
short n sweet and at times i wanted to hit Cassie for being so dumb but the relationship between her and Trey was really cute.

definitely my kind of sport romance. She doesnt know who Trey is and Trey stays under the radar.
Geeks meets super star football player. Made for some good times and way sweets moments.

3.5 Stars. What an enjoyable book! The heroine had a great personality and the hero wasn't a jerk. This was a fun read and I think I will read the next in the series.

Big fail in not having an epilogue. The ending was quite abrupt. That is one of my pet peeves. Give us a little something!

"'No,' she gasped, tearing her mouth from his."

At which point, he should have stopped. Instead:

"His mouth worked down her neck to the sliver of shoulder exposed by her shirt."

I am so not comfortable with the trope of "keep going until you change her mind."
