Where does one start with about what I do?
I’m a writer, but I’m sure you guessed that by now if you’re reading this, hey? What you might not know is I’m a little quirky, live in my pj’s most of the time and have cake Saturdays with my sisters every week. I dedicate a little of my time to taking care of my grandbabies and on the dedicated writing days I like to write an eclectic mix of romance, suspense and paranormal fantasy. In the main I’ve written gay romance but I’m branching out under another the pen name in the future, so watch this space.
I’ve a passion for books like you would not believe and it led me down this path and now I’ve over 29 books released and heading towards releasing a whole lot more. The way my head is I never know where I’ll be headed next. I hope you’ll find a little joy in my words and follow me to see where the journey takes me and you.
If you’re interested at some point in 2021 I’ll be writing under the name JP Paton which will be F/M crime and Fantasy two of my favourite things. Be sure to keep your eyes peeled 

Par où commencer par ce que je fais?
Je suis écrivain, mais je suis sûr que vous l’avez deviné maintenant si vous lisez ceci, hein? Ce que vous ne savez peut-être pas, c'est que je suis un peu excentrique, que je vis dans mon pyjama la plupart du temps et que je prends un gâteau le samedi avec mes sœurs chaque semaine. Je consacre un peu de mon temps à m'occuper de mes petits-enfants et lors des journées consacrées à l'écriture, j'aime écrire un mélange éclectique de romance, de suspense et de fantaisie paranormale. Dans l’ensemble, j’ai écrit une romance gay, mais je vais dans le futur sous un autre nom de plume, alors surveillez cet espace.
J'ai une passion pour les livres comme vous ne le croiriez pas et cela m'a conduit dans cette voie et maintenant j'ai plus de 29 livres publiés et je me dirige vers la sortie de beaucoup plus. ¿Por dónde empezar con lo que hago?
Soy escritor, pero estoy seguro de que ya lo habrá adivinado si está leyendo esto, ¿eh? Lo que quizás no sepas es que soy un poco estrafalario, vivo en mi pijama la mayor parte del tiempo y tengo pastel los sábados con mis hermanas todas las semanas. Dedico un poco de mi tiempo a cuidar de mis nietos y en los días dedicados a la escritura, me gusta escribir una mezcla ecléctica de romance, suspenso y fantasía paranormal. En general, escribí romance gay, pero en el futuro me voy a diversificar con otro seudónimo, así que mira este espacio.

In questo terzo capitolo della serie “Omegaverse Divergente”, l’autrice ci regala una storia delicata e ricca di emozioni. Una storia d’amore morbida che ci avvolge con calore e un pizzico di commozione. È decisamente una vicenda che ci parla di sentimenti forti e fragili allo stesso tempo, di ferite mai rimarginate che hanno portato i nostri due protagonisti a indossare maschere volte a proiettare una sicurezza esistenziale che non provano.
Assistiamo con partecipazione, e sospiri, all’evoluzione delle interazioni tra Frey e Booker. Attimi che si colorano di soavità e un pizzico di piccantezza. Viviamo momenti di delicato divertimento e angoscia, di titubanze e bisticci. La paura di essere giudicati, di essere visti come spezzati o difettosi, porta Frey e Booker a temere il giudizio di chi occupa ogni loro pensiero e ogni spasmo d’amore.

Datemi più omegaverse con mutaforma, perché sono davvero tenerissimi!
La storia di Booker e Frey è dolcissima, ma devo ammettere che mentre leggevo continuavo a pensare: “non vedo l’ora di leggere quella di Jupiter” 😅
Tornando al libro… mi è piaciuto. Forse un po’ lunghetto, ma comunque scorrevole e piacevole da leggere.

Da quando ho iniziato a leggere questa serie scritta da J.P. Sayle mi sono completamente innamorata dei protagonisti nati dalla sua fantasia. La famiglia creata nel tempo da Lane e Derick è semplicemente meravigliosa e ogni componente è parte integrante di qualcosa di unico e meraviglioso. Dopo che i due uomini hanno deciso di ritirarsi e andare in pensione, tutti i loro figli sono stati convocati a casa per assumere le redini dell'azienda familiare. Fra questi vi è Booker, un uomo meraviglioso con un cuore grande e una rara sensibilità. Al suo fianco, come assistente personale nel suo campo di competenza, vi è Frey. Irriverente e malizioso, quest'ultimo nutre da sempre una forte cotta per il suo nuovo capo e ora, lavorare fianco a fianco, potrebbe rivelarsi per Frey una vera e propria sfida. Tra battute al vetriolo e regole auto imposte, Booker un giorno origlia inavvertitamente una conversazione di Frey. Il cuore di Booker è ben nascosto dietro un muro invalicabile, ma se c'è qualcuno in grado di farlo sciogliere totalmente, quello è proprio il suo assistente. Riusciranno questi due meravigliosi uomini a lasciarsi andare? Oppure lasceranno prendere il sopravvento alle paure, rischiando di perdere ogni cosa?
Stavo letteralmente impazzendo dalla voglia di leggere la storia di Booker e Frey. Davvero! Dopo aver amato la prima novella su Derick e Lane e il primo romanzo su Taylin e Hollis, avevo delle aspettative altissime anche per La beatitudine di Booker. Difatti, ero super curiosa di immergermi fra queste pagine e scoprire come Booker sarebbe finalmente capitolato e avrebbe scoperto il vero amore. Inoltre, è sempre una bellissima esperienza ritornare a vivere le avventure della famiglia Starling, sono tutti grandiosi. Le interazioni tra i fratelli, nonché fra tutti gli assistenti sono sempre molto esilaranti e mi hanno fatta divertire tantissimo. Ho letto voracemente questo Romance M/M, perché volevo proseguire e vedere cosa sarebbe accaduto, tanto da non voler lasciare giù il kindle. Alcuni passaggi, inoltre, riprendono momenti salienti che abbiamo vissuto con il volume precedente, per poi portarci poco per volta più avanti nella narrazione. La penna di J.P. Sayle è scorrevole e coinvolgente, il lettore viene trascinato al fianco dei protagonisti per vivere insieme a loro ogni istante. Il ritmo della narrazione è piuttosto incalzante, rallentato ogni tanto da qualche ripetizione e dai diversi cambi di pensiero dei protagonisti nella prima metà. Nonostante io stia amando tanto questa serie colorata e appassionante, devo ammettere che ho trovato questo romanzo davvero slow burn, forse in alcuni momenti un po' troppo a cottura lenta per quanto riguarda la crescita della relazione fra i due protagonisti. Insieme Booker e Frey sono letteralmente perfetti l'uno per l'altro. La loro caratterizzazione come singoli individui è sicuramente ben fatta. Però, mi è mancato un pochino di sviluppo della coppia in sé, poiché le poche interazioni fra i due e la titubanza iniziale è così profonda che si protrae praticamente per metà romanzo. Mi sarebbe certo piaciuto vedere una crescita più costante e un po' meno repentina, nonostante la forte attrazione sia ben percepibile. Tuttavia, sono molti gli avvenimenti che si susseguono, così come gli indizi su chi potrebbero essere i prossimi protagonisti del volume successivo che, personalmente, non vedo l'ora di avere fra le mani. Si tratta sicuramente di una gran bella storia familiare ricca di emozioni ed avvenimenti, nonché una dolce e romantica storia d'amore. Impossibile, infatti, non affezionarsi a tutti loro e voler scoprire cosa accadrà nella vita della famiglia Starling. Se avete letto i due romanzi della serie Omegaverse Divergente, non potete assolutamente perdere La beatitudine di Booker. Qualora invece non avete ancora iniziato la serie, beh, che cosa state aspettando? È perfetta per chi adora i Romance M/M Omegaverse con mutaforma e una famiglia amorevole e protettiva, nonché una coppia tenera e accattivante che vi terrà sulle spine.
Per me sono 4.5 stelle!

BOOKER'S BLISS is the third story in the Divergent Omegaverse series, and for part of the story, we get the same events that happened in Taylin's Temptation. This doesn't happen for long, but just so you're aware.

Frey is the flirty fox, the one everyone thinks is the Omega version of Jupiter. Booker is the big bear who growls all the time. What would these two have in common? Well, a lot of things, as it happens. Not only that, but there's also that thing called attraction, although neither of them will admit to it...

These two are sweet, and both have their own baggage. Booker helps Frey work through his trauma, but deals with his own by himself. Well, with Derick by his side. Due to said trauma, this is more of a slow burn than other books by this author, but it fits. And while I liked that they didn't do anything until Frey's heat, I also sort of wish they had. So Booker would have known that it was just heat madness talking. And Frey, too, now I'm thinking about it. That's shown afterwards, but yeah, I'd have liked to have seen a bit more beforehand.

I will give a Kleenex warning, though. If you've read Taylin's Temptation, you'll remember the incredibly sad circumstances of a certain factory. Well, not only do we revisit that particular moment, but we also go past it, with some tragic and happy events. My eyes were leaking, but as Frey says, blame it on the hormones.

I loved returning to this world and look forward to seeing them on the ranch for the next book, which is Silas and Ziggy's.

Adesso so che c’è già un terzo libro in lingua inglese, per cui incrocio le dita sperando che venga tradotto presto in lingua italiana così da seguire le orme di Booker e Frey.

Queste sono le parole con cui ho concluso la mia recensione al secondo libro di questa serie e, finalmente, Booker e Frey sono arrivati nelle mie mani.
Dire emozionante è riduttivo, dire fantastico è come dire che manca ancora qualcosa, dire strepitoso racchiude tutta la bellezza e la meraviglia provata in ogni pagina di questo volume.
Booker è un orso dal cuore tenero, grande e buono e, chi l’ha conosciuto sa cosa ha fatto per il suo amico Silas.
Frey sembra un'ape che vola di fiore in fiore eppure scoprire cosa nasconde e cosa ha subito fa stringere il cuore.
La sua sensibilità per chi soffre, il suo dolore per ciò che ha perso, rendono Frey un protagonista vero, che fa battere forte il cuore.
Seguire la grandiosità del cuore di Booker porterà ogni lettore ad amarlo fin dall’inizio.
Una storia che rafforza la bellezza e l’amore insita in questa famiglia che non è fatta solo da persone dello stesso sangue ma anche e soprattutto da persone che sono state messe da parte come spazzatura.
Anche in questo volume, la forza e l’ardore di Lane e Derick Starling rafforzano quell’amore che vivono da sempre e che donano ai loro figli senza alcuna remora.
JP ancora una volta ha incendiato il mio animo, addolcito il mio cuore e mi ha fatto vivere l’amore per quello che dovrebbe essere sempre, senza secondi fini, ma vero e dolce in ogni sua forma, gratificato ancor di più dalla presenza di una dolcissima bimba.
Ora non mi rimane che aspettare l’uscita del quarto volume che ci farà conoscere la storia di Silas.

Come può qualcuno sperare di riconquistare un cuore che ha già messo da parte una volta?

È quello che spero di sapere quanto prima.

Buongiorno Amanti dei libri,
Siamo al terzo volume della serie: Omegaverse Divergente "LA BEATITUDINE DI BOOKER"
Vi dico subito che ho divorato questo libro come se non avessi scelta, come se non sapere di Booker e Frey, i nostri protagonisti, mi togliesse un po' il respiro. Avete presente la necessità di conoscere che andrà tutto bene, che loro riusciranno a trovare la via giusta per il loro lieto fine?
JP Sayle ha saputo scrivere una storia fantastica, dove vari sentimenti si intrecciano e ci raccontano particolari del passato dei nostri primi attori, in cui capiamo quanto abbiano influenzato ogni gesto che compiono. Booker con il suo spirito animale, un orso, si sente poco adatto per la volpe di Frey, che filtra con tutti e sembra abbia una vita amorosa molto intensa. Questo ha tenuto calmo il suo temperamento fintanto che era lontano,  ma ora, tornato a casa, sembra impossibile contenere rabbia e gelosia.
Frey ha in realtà indossato una maschera, fingendosi qualcuno che non è, pur di vivere la sua vita nel migliore dei modi.
Carissimə amichə non avete idea del viaggio che vi aspetta. È l'incontro tra due anime: una chiusa, con un cuore grande che nasconde dietro al carattere burbero; l'altra aperta al prossimo, carica d'empatia, che accoglie ed ascolta.
Frey porterà equilibrio in questa storia di insicurezze personali, dove entrambi lavoreranno per un percorso di fiducia e cambiamento interiore.
È una storia intensa e romantica che JP Sayle ha saputo raccontare in modo eccellente, sono sicura che vi coinvolgerà totalmente e non vedo l'ora di conoscere le vostre impressioni.

Booker Starling, a gruff alpha bear with a guarded heart, has always kept his distance from Frey Abbott — until one pivotal moment forces him to see the flirty fox PA in a completely new way. With old rules no longer binding him and Frey’s true vulnerability revealed, resisting becomes impossible. Booker finally decides to take a chance on love, even if it means breaking every rule he set for himself.

The undeniable attraction between Booker and Frey was one of the strongest parts of this story — both of them trying so hard to deny what everyone else could clearly see. I loved how soft‑hearted Booker was beneath all that gruffness, always determined to protect those more vulnerable, and how that protective streak showed long before either of them admitted their feelings. Frey’s persistence, paired with Booker’s instinctive care, made their slow shift toward each other feel inevitable. And once they made their life‑changing decision, the support from both the Starling family and the PA family added so much warmth and humour. There were plenty of emotions and feelings throughout, making their journey easy to connect with. This was an MM story with mature content set in the omegaverse with an associated MPREG.

Booker and Frey were so fun to see, especially in the beginning stages when they were avoiding and goading each other.
They both had their hang-ups and trauma from the past that made them guard their heart and act contrary to their true selves.
They were cute together, and I absolutely adored the protectiveness and possessiveness, as well as their hot moments together.
The teasing was also top-notch, as well as the ribbing between brothers and family.
It also had it’s emotional moments when confronted with the cruelty of those who like to cause suffering.
I also absolutely adored the chats between the brothers and the PAs.
I liked the story, and I’m looking forward to seeing what happens next.

This was such a wonderful read! Booker and Frey were both such total sweethearts! Booker is such a grumpy bear but has such a big heart and is so protective of those he loves! Frey is such a flirty fox but he’s really hiding from some past trauma. I loved watching their relationship grow and evolve. The banter between this family is so much fun but you can really feel the love coming out also! This really brought out all the feels! Emmy was quite a wonderful surprise other than the circumstances. I absolutely love this large family and can’t wait to see what happens in the country! A very enjoyable series that I highly recommend! This is my honest opinion of this complimentary copy of this book

well written, angsty, mostly sweet

This was painful for me to get through because the characters all run away or get angry when confronted with their insecurities instead of having a conversation like the grown ups they supposedly are, but it didn’t feel manufactured, it felt authentic, like ppl who have been deeply injured and are struggling to face their fears and move forward.

Really well written, no typos or egregious grammar issues that I recall, and the characters feel real, have believable reactions to the chain of events, and stay consistent through the story. That being said, it’s definitely angsty so if that’s not your thing (like it’s not mine), consider this your heads up.

Did we read the same book?

The characters felt one-dimensional, and although the plot was simple, it was written in a really confusing way. At one point I thought maybe it was because I hadn’t read the previous books, but the author clearly says this one can be read as a standalone.

I couldn’t find Booker’s “fear of trusting” anywhere in the story, nor did I understand how he had been “rejected” in the past. That aspect was barely explored, if at all.

The plot was very soft and easygoing most of the time, and then suddenly some serious issues were thrown in — but they weren’t handled with the depth or care they deserved.

I don’t know, I was really excited about this story, but in the end, it just disappointed me.

I thoroughly enjoyed the banter between the brothers and their comraderie and loyalty and acceptance. Frey (fox shifter) had the perfect personality for a fox. He was such a worrier and fretter over everything. He was super cautious of almost everyone. I empathized with him and wanted to cuddle him because he seemed so vulnerable and real. Booker is a big old softy for those he loves. Bookers' ex dad was an evil greedy man that wouldn't know love if it bit him. I was swirling in all the emotions in this story, especially all the love! A great impactful read that resonated deeply with me on many levels.

Booker’s Bliss is the third book in the Divergent Omegaverse. Booker is a bear and Frey a fox. While divergent has an inner animal that cannot shift, both men can shift.

Booker’s parents are retiring and he comes to work for the family business and Frey is his new PA. These two were fun to read! Booker is grumpy while Frey is flirty, but also cautious. When Booker finds out why Frey needs an Omega, it melts his grumpiness somewhat. I loved the teasing and family dynamics.

Overall I loved the story, and the world that the author has created! Nice pacing, kept me engaged and flipping the pages.

MATCH MADE IN THE HEART

DIVERGENT OMEGAVERSE Book 3 is hotter if possible. Every Book is better than the previous one. Once JP SAYLE creates a new different world her dedication is unmatched. Booker the grumpy Bear likes to keep others at a distance with his gruff. Frey is the flirty Fox of the PA pool. These hard working Alphas are having a hard time living under the same roof again. Booker and Frey are in for some surprising awakenings. All of them endearing. This Book was one I could not put down. Seeing all the Brothers and PA's interacting was a bonus. The Epilogue is FANTASTIC. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS BOOK AND THIS DIVERGENT OMEGAVERSE SERIES!!!!!!!!!!

I am really enjoying this series and this book was so good. From the very first page to the last it grabbed hold of me and just would not let go, I just had to know how the story ends. I have always loved a good romance especially when you add a little drama. Then search is on for that one person who stands out in a crowd, after seeing them you just know you have to have them because they're meant to be yours. Doesn't mean the journey to together is always smooth, since we always seem find some bumps along the way. But at the end the dream of a happy ending is what we are always hoping for.

In questo terzo libro ci troviamo davanti a due personaggi già ben delineati nel libro precedente, Booker e Frey: due figure agli antipodi, diverse ma al contempo molto simili nel cuore. Se a primo impatto conosciamo un Booker scontroso e intrattabile, dall’altro ritroviamo in lui l’anima del guardiano protettivo che difende i più deboli. Al contrario, Frey, che appare civettuolo, durante la storia conquista sia Booker che il lettore con i suoi segreti.

This is book 3 in the Divergent Omegaverse series. It's not strictly necessary to have read the other books, but I do recommend that you do. It will give you a better picture of this world, and what it means to be Divergent: that is, you have an inner animal, but you cannot shift.

Booker is a bear, and Frey a fox, both of these men can shift, and Booker is a member of the Starling family, after he stood up for Silas, who cannot shift. Frey is Booker's PA, after a shake up within the company. Frey flirts a lot with everyone and it makes Booker grumpy! But hearing Frey ask another omega to help with an upcoming heat, and Booker's grumpiness goes up a notch or two. When Booker finds out the reasons Frey needs an omega rather than an alpha to help him, the grumpiness turns to concern and protectiveness. No one hurts his fox. He just needs to go at the pace Frey sets, even if it might kill him!

What I loved most about this, was once Booker was aware of Frey's past, he is all in, but only as and when Frey wants him to. He will go at his fox' pace, because Frey is his, he just needs Frey to fully commit. Frey wants Booker, deep in his heart but his head is messed up, along with his heat cycle because of the blockers he has been taking for so long. He needs a gentle soul, a kind soul, to help him through his trauma. Booker is a freaking bear, but his heart?? Mush, absolute mush when it comes to Frey.

Due to Frey's trauma, we have to wait for the main event. And I LOVED that we did. Once Frey's heat hits properly, in full force, he knows he can rely on Booker to stop if he needs him to. He doesn't necessarily want him to, but he might NEED Booker to be the gentle soul he knows him to be.

There is some overlap with Taylin's Temptation, regarding the factory, and what happens there. Book 4 is laid out for you, and I look forward to reading it. I have a feeling that it might well be a bit more of an emotional read.

Steamy and emotional, and a lot of fun, reading the group texts!

I look forward to watching the other brothers fall!

Booker’s Bliss by JP Sayle about Booker and Frey in the third book of the Divergent Omegaverse series. Booker finds himself in a bind as he is forced to come home to work at the family’s business because his parents are retiring. As he finds out he has been assigned Frey as his PA, he's not sure he will be able to stop his bear from falling for Frey. Frey is in a tizzy because his fox is attracted to Booker, but with his past, he is scared that Booker will not accept him. As Frey and Booker learn to work together, they both find out they both have past issues that once they trust one another, they can overcome anything. I really liked this story. It was an easy read, andI kept my attention even though I had not read the previous books in the series and left me wanting more. Booker and Frey are so wonderful and shows they are strong separately but invincible together with their found families. I was so happy I got the opportunity to read this book and am looking forward to the next
