This large oversized coffee table book chronicles the history of combat illustration in the United States. This book has beautiful reproductions from all the major conflicts of the last 200 or so years. The really neat thing about this book is the evolution of combat art threw the ages, going from a very direct approach to a more abstract approach (impact and the rise of photography). A great piece of military Americana.
