Paranormal Shifter romance. I had a feeling I would like this before I started, it has been on my TBR for ages (not because I wasn’t interested, just I have so many on it)and with the collaboration with Wings & Words it has given me the push to grab this and throw myself in.
Well it had me hooked from the very start with the opening of Lyles Story.
This is my first Helen Johnston book and will not be my last. I really enjoyed Helen’s writing style and felt fully immersed in their world and story. The smut was spicing and I absolutely loved it.
The only reason this was not a 5* read for me was I felt the conclusion felt a little rushed to the rest of the book. I felt I wanted a little more story/back story to ‘the bitch’ and the link with ‘sperm donor’.
I would absolutely recommend this book and looking forward to the next instalment.

Wow, this is Helen's best work to date. Lyle is hot with a soft centre and Ruby is attitude in a real woman's curvy body, Sass on legs! There's plenty of spice and taboo subjects but also a brilliant story. What's not to love?

Well done Helen on writing this amazing book I was pleasantly hooked With Lyle story of how he was imprisoned as a pup to how he came to meet his family the six ,Ralph,Jimmie eg and how his trying to over come his anxiety / fears of his kidnapping treatment from the b queen as he calls her, he was prisoner 111 and her s slave when she demanded him to entertain her needs , at some point he comes across Ruby at her work place and at that moment she was his , I wont say no more as it will spoil it for you and trust me that’s not what I intend to do because this amazing spicy read will get you wanting to read more ~Thank you, Beth, and the rest of the Wings and Words Arc Community for the free Arc of this book. I'm leaving this review voluntarily.~

I absolutely loved this book it's now in my top 3 for shifter books I would highly highly recommend and it's mainly a male pov which I loved because it's refreshing I adored this story and I'll be start book 2 straight away
