Audrey Valdez didn’t mean to fall for Will Anders. He isn’t her type. At all. But his goofy smile, Star Wars quotes and athletic body make it impossible. She's lived so long in the darkness and Will is like the sun. He makes her laugh more than she has in years and cares for her more than her own family.

But there are things about Audrey that Will doesn't know, things he c

I've been reading this series religiously since the first book came out a few years ago and I'm still in love with it.

Slowly We Trust is about two characters that want to be together but for unknown reasons, can't. It can seem like a plot well used but Chelsea M. Cameron really made this one her own.

I really loved Audrey's character;I loved how strong and independent she is but her whole "secret" thing really got on my nerves. I just don't understand why she had to make a big thing out of it. Y
I really like Ms. Cameron's book but this book was so, so bad!
Audrey was an unlikable character, poor Will. And I felt really bad for Eddie.

Uh, so dramatic and frustrating. I found it to be just too unbelievable.

Slowly We Trust is the third book in Chelsea M. Cameron's Rise and Fall series. This book can be read as a standalone, but does have interconnected characters. I had not read the previous two books in the series before reading this one and even though I didn't know the characters previously, I had no problem understanding this one. I am interested to go back and read the first two books though after having read about them in this story. I real

This is the third book in the series and focuses on Audrey and Will, Lorries twin brother.

Although this novel wasn't as good as the previous two books, it was still good.

Will and Audrey are kinda together but Aid has this push him away pull him closer thing going on. She also has a secret which I had guessed early on and was not at all surprised when it was revealed.

I felt sorry for Will with the way that Audrey was treating him, but they constant will they, won't they got annoying.

Cuatro estrellas, sólo por Will.

Will was so adorable! But Audrey irritated me a lot! Poor Will. She could have told her secret way before than she did and free Will from his misery!
So it was a 3.5 stars book for me..

3.5 immature stars!

First and foremost, I find Audrey (Aud) immature, selfish and exasperating. She may be going thru a tough emotional roller-coaster ride, but it seems that at times she was more selfish than broken. She had entered into a relationship wherein she knows that Will was absolutely serious about her but she seems not to care but the sex and attention. She was totally into keeping her secret from all of her friends. If the circumstances was with her, she will be keeping her big secr

Chelsea Cameron has a way with characters and words that are the envy of many authors within the New Adult genre. She has been on our” must read” list for a while and this series is one of my favorites she has ever written. The characters and situations are so genuine and Slowly We Trust was no different. This story focuses primarily on Will and Audrey’s relationship and Audrey’s path to self-discovery. Will is the sweetest! He was the life of the party yet so sensitive when it came to Audrey. Let me get this out-of-the-way right at the beginning, I love this series but Audrey really frustrated me. There I said it, I will give credit where it’s due and say that Audrey’s character development is the foundation of this story and she does come a very long way as the story progresses. However, I can’t help it if I wanted to give her a good shake for most of the book :)

At the start of the book Audrey is weighed down by an incident in the past, she is so affected by it that she deals as if

What an emotional roller-coaster. Audrey was frustrated with her up and down, push and pull with Will. There were times when I just wanted to pull her hair and knock some sense into her. Why be with someone when you can't even trust them with your secret.
Audrey and Will, have been in and out of their relationship. And when they got back together, things got even more complicated. When Audrey received a phone call from her Aunt Ma

The first 10% of the book was good, but after that the story got to be rather hard to get through. I had high hopes for this book, as it was about Audrey and Will, the ones I most wanted to read about in the series, but it really fell flat on its delivery.
The relationship between Audrey and Will is on a roller-coaster of together/not together, until they decide they can't have a relationship where they aren't together in some way. Audrey was great for about the first chapter of the book in

Slowly We Trust is the 3rd installment of the Fall and Rise Series. This time the story centers around Audrey Valdez and Will Anders. As you may remember, Will is the twin of Lottie. So, if you follow the series, you will see and the other characters that follow throughout. It makes you feel like the gang is al back together (even though they never really left).

Will is a dorky, Star Wars loving, fun guy who is head over heals in love with Audrey. So in love with her, he tells her on New Year's E

Chelsea M. Cameron has done it again, giving readers an emotional and heartwarming story in Slowly We Trust. As the third book in the Fall and Rise series, it really cannot be read as a standalone. The characters and plot are introduced in the first two books, and the action starts right in on page one! This book was a definite page turner, with tons of angst, secrets and insecurities. You won’t be able to put this one down – you will have to know what is going on with Audrey!

It took almost 1/3 of the book before I was swept into the story. The beginning was slow and left me a bit uncertain about the romance. I'm still unsure if I missed something in the previous books, since page 1 begins with Will and Audrey in love with each other. Then, to make matters worse, the two dance around for about 15% of the book: “I love you, but we would never work! Let's be friends. But wait, I still can't stop thinking about you . . . “ I quickly grew tired of this, as I saw no solid ...more

I'll start off by saying that this isn't my most favorite book from this series, but I still loved it. The main reason why I found myself not liking this book as much as the other books is because Will sounded girly in some parts and when I read about him in the previous books he sounded so mascline. But other than that I loved this book.

The book starts off where Faster We Burn ends. Will and Audrey are together, but not offically. It's New Years Eve and when the clock hits midnight,

Received an ARC for an honest review

It was a slow, very confusing story that led me to just scan most of the pages.

First, I haven't read the previous books of the story so I did not have any background with what is happening whatsoever. Slowly We Trust just didn't work for me. It started a bit okay for me with side worries that it will progress bad. And so it did. Well at least for me.

It was a bunch of great characters gone wrong. I have a lot of "could'ves" after reading lik

3.5 Stars in my Sky!

I'm new to the Fall and Rise series and although there were definitely aspects of the book I missed in the first two books, I was able to enjoy Slowly We Trust as a standalone.

Audrey and Will are friends, well sort of. They've been kinda dating, without dating and both really like each other. Audrey has has a pretty big secret which she think means she doesn't deserve kind, charming and geeky Will. I didn't totally get her reasoning here but I could understand why she kept th

Mhm.. I've got a really hard time coming up with a review for this novel.

Don't get me wrong, the plot is pretty good and I still love the writing style (we get the perspectives from both Aud and Will, which is something I totally adore)
I'm glad that we find out more about their friends (I just love Zan and Lottie :D).

So, let's start with Will. He is so charming and I love that he is so into sports but also into video games and movies. That's awesome. Plus, he is so cool with his best friend Simo

Audrey Valdez and Will Anders have a complicated relationship. He likes her and she likes him, but Audrey has a secret, a secret that she believes will be the end of them.

There is a lot going on in this book. Besides the ever-changing relationship between Audrey and Will, there is the whole back story involving the 'gang,' the circle of friends and family that comprise their world. The interaction between Audrey, Will, and the rest of the 'Family' is both touching and entertaining. These kids re

I had read the other books in this series so I was very excited to read this book. Will and Audrey had this hot/cold relationship. Will was completely head over heels for Audrey and I could tell that she really loved him but had this secret that was holding her back. Even when they actually started dating, Audrey continued to push him away. I figured it out early on in the book that she had been pregnant before and had a baby so I was sitting on the edge of my seat waiting for

I can honestly say that the first two books in the Fall and Rise series were one of my favorite reads 2013. Which is why I was looking forward to this book so much. Unfortunately, Slowly We Trust did not invoke the same feelings in me as the first two did.

Audrey Valdez is afraid to get close to anyone. She has a huge secret that she is trying to protect. No one would want to be with her if they knew what it was.

She tried really hard to not fall for Will Anders. How could she not when he is everything she could ever want: handsome, sexy, smart, and so sweet.

Andrea and Will have an undefined thing. Flirting and kissing is ok, but when Will asks for more Andrea runs. And the story begins.
This is told in dual POV which I appreciated. Will is Lottie’s twin, which also means we get a big dose of twin fun as well as some Zan. Oh I have missed Zan…And Katie and Stryker…and Trish and Max….love this world of friends!

I really enjoyed this book.

The first book in the Fall and Rise series was good, but it had a few issues that sort of bugged me. However, the more Chelsea writes (and she writes a ton) the better she gets. I really enjoyed the 2nd book in the series, and this one was even better.

I love love love Will, and I actually sort of lived Audrey's secret. Because of her secret, she's afraid to get too close to Will, but Will loves her and refuses to give up - "Because I had to give it a shot. Because I lo
