It was Jeremy's "delicious" review this morning on Camus (do read it, it's a must read review - Lyrical and Critical Essays) and it reminded me of this book that I have.
This book is only 144 pages in length and it discusses Albert Camus' works. The following review from the Journal of Modern Literature could not have stated it better:
"The volume is in every way an exceptionally rich and valuable introduction to Camus' work. The book is solid in its presentation, precise and clean in its analysis and direct and honest in its critical stance...Rhein's stated purpose is excellent."
All I can possibly add is that Camus is an individual who is still very much loved by the French. Well why not, his works were exquisite.
And I want to thank Jeremy again in that his review reminded me to browse through this book again.
