Based on the widely used New International Version translation, the NIBC presents careful section-by-section exposition with key terms and phrases highlighted and all Hebrew transliterated. About the author

Dr. John Edward Hartley was an ordained minister and an Old Testament scholar within the evangelical and Wesleyan-Arminian tradition. He taught Hebrew and the Old Testament at Azusa Pacific University.
