Caroline Withers has been playing a role playing game at home. Little did she know that she was about to enter the game and play it for real. She is led there by her guardian, a black panther named Sharos. Throughout the playing of the game, she meets several characters that help her. The creator of the game often changes the rules of the game and throws unforeseen obstacles in her way. She is forced to make decisions she is not ready to make and learns quickly that playing the game for real is different than playing it in the comfort of her own home. Will she be strong enough to defeat the game? Or will she be defeated by Earlant and his brood of goblins? Will she rescue the lost prince? Or will she give up as the game gets more challenging? It’s now time to go to Rynnaire and play the game.
Caroline is chosen to partake in a fantasy adventure when she enters the Creator's Game. With her companions, a rat that can transform into a dragon, an elf, a dwarf and a black panther, she begins a quest to find the kingdom's prince who has vanished. Pursued by goblins and other evil creatures, they quickly must race to save the kingdom from being overtaken by Lord Dreadmire's army. Is Caroline playing the game or is it playing her? This novel is for those that love the Lord of the Rings and the Chronicles of Narnia and especially those who grew up playing games like Dragon Quest and Dungeons and Dragons.
