Carol Rottman, PhD. is a writer in the Grand Rapids area. Her publisher sent a copy to the library I worked at.
It's supposed to be like A. Lamott's _Bird by Bird _ for Christian Writers. I found the book very comforting and I would read it before I went to bed. It took me about a month to read it, which for me is good. It took me 8 months to read Patti Digh's book. I really liked the emphasis on God.

If I was a better writer, I'd be able to tell you what is off with the writing. There's something amateurish about it. I think maybe it doesn't flow like Annie Lamott and Patti Digh.
Maybe reading it aloud and revising it that way would help the flow.
