Everything can change in an instant….

It begins as a normal day for Katelyn. She is washing dishes as her two daughters play happily outside. When Katelyn answers the phone, everything changes. Returning to the kitchen she realizes her worst fear has come true.

Her daughters have vanished!

Now it is up to Katelyn, with the help of a local police officer, to find the girls. Katelyn must navigate a world where not everyone is as they seem; and where a wrong choice can cost her and her daughters dearly.

"Beautiful Things" is a wonderfully-written novel that was captivating from the very beginning. I couldn't put it down! Amy really knows how to draw you in and make you feel for each of the characters that she has created. This book is about so much more than just crime-solving. There are so many underlying threads that each chapter unravels something new and draws you in even deeper. The only downside was that I wanted to keep reading even after the end of the book. I can't wait to read whatever Amy comes up with next!
