Code Name:Nina's Choice, the third book in the Warrior's challenge series is a very different read then the first two books. A little less action and a lot more heart.
Mace was one of my favorite characters in this series and I couldn't wait to see him find his "forever girl," and Nina is the perfect match for this sexy SEAL.

Mace has a lot of Challenges to face: he was injured in Syria,in the most devastating place a man can be hurt. His recovery is not progressing as he would like. Physically, he need to re-qualify for the teams. Add to that, he's now in the first serious relationship of his life and that woman has a child.Enough to send a lesser man running of the hills.
Nina's life up to this point has been all about her daughter, Gabbs. She didn't expect a sex SEAL to walk in and steal her heart, but he did. Now he's pulling away. Does she fight for what she wants or things play out and see what happens? They don't call her Ninja Grasshopper for nothing! Nina goes after what she wants.

Code Name: Nina's Choice gives you a deeper look into the behind the scenes lives of seal team Alpha. The close relationships between the team members. The love and sacrifices these men and women make for each other and their country. But, the one who steals the show is Gabriella, Nina's daughter. Gabbs' is the catalyst in some amazing scenes (can't tell, no spoilers)that will have the tears rolling down your cheeks like the waves rolling on the beach.

I loved Code Name:Ghost and Code Name: Kayla's Fire, but Code Name: Nina's Choice stole my heart! An absolutely perfect combination of heart, heat, action and suspense. Set an entire day aside, find a quiet place to read, your drink of choice, a box of tissues and dive in. You won't be coming up until the last page is turned.

This is an absolutely brilliant story. It is one of the best books I've EVER read.

My love for these characters started in Code Name: Ghost and continued in Code Name: Kayla's fire. I was super excited to read more of these characters in this book.

This is Mace and Nina's story. The storyline is brilliant. I so wanted an easy life for these characters but I knew Natasza, the author, would not allow that. As I loved these characters so much I felt she was pulling my heart out during parts of this book. I was glued to this book yet afraid to keep reading as I was afraid of what was going to happen.

Natasza you didn't disappoint me. This book was absolutely brilliant. I highly recommend 1-clicking this book. Actually I highly recommend 1-clicking all three of these books. You won't be disappointed.

This series is quickly becoming one of my favorites! And let's just start with this cover goodness! Those eyes! It's a great image for Mace Callahan who was a favorite character from the first two books in the series.

This third installment begins before the second book ends which means that the Blood Shark serial killer is still on the loose as the story begins. A perfect reason for Nina Samson to be securely under watch from the SEALS and for her to be keeping her daughter secure in Canada with her parents.

Mace is returning from being injured overseas on a mission and is feeling out of sorts as his injuries have affected his abilities in the bedroom. Watching his SEAL buddies push him and challenge him to become the man and SEAL he was before the injury is inspiring. Nina is doing her best to inspire him as well!

I don't want to give too much away so I'm going to stop here. I think you will enjoy this book more if you have read the first two books in the series. If you love an alpha military hero who has met his match, this book is for you. Their journey isn't always easy but it's worth taking.

Natasza Waters has done it again, I think after each Warrior's Challenge book, Wow it's going to be hard to beat that one but each time I'm wrong. Each book is filled with Romance, action, suspense and sexy Navy Seals. This was Mace and Nina' s Story! I fell in love with Mace from the very beginning. He is strong, compassionate, sexy, charming, protective, caring with a huge heart and a deadly shot. Mace was severely injured in a mission. While in the hospital he kept pushing Nina away and even after he got home. He didn't feel like a man due to his injuries. Nina was one tough cookie. She was strong, determined, caring, supportive, she could keep up physically with numerous Seals, a wonderful mother and friend. Nina never gave up, she kept pushing forward. From her best friend missing, a serial killer after them, being separated from her daughter, for Gabbs' protection and Mace' s security issues, she kept moving forward trying to make the best out of some sucky situations. This book will hook you from page one. With Suspense that keeps you on the edge of your seat, Romance that is hot and steamy. I highly recommend this entire Series, it is wonderful!

5 Star Read:
Mace and Nina. Wow what can I say...? I will be a forever fan of Ghost but you have to give it up for Mace. I just was not expecting such a turn of events. Ugh, and that ex of Nina's. Definite life time garbage award winner. Hands down this is one great series. 2017 has started off with a hit!

My absolute favorite and will read again and again. I strongly recommend! It has outstanding qualities. The characters are wonderful and surprising and multi-dimensional. The writing is luring, engaging, and well-crafted enough to keep me interested from cover to cover and beyond. The plot is astonishing with twists and turns weaved into a well thought and planned story. There’s no pretense and romance was well balanced and done entirely correctly with properly distributed amounts of hints, behaviors and incredible, undeniable chemistry. Predictability is at an all-time low. With the exception of series based books that follow the same path but are just as good. Overall, Favorite, must read again, recommend!!!

Again I put in an all-nighter to read the book. It was like diving in at 6pm and the next time I came up for air the book was finished and it was 3am. The entire book was like a row of rollercoasters - before you have the chance to recover from the last one you are thrown into the next. Can't wait for the next book about Tinman and Lumin...

I just cannot praise Natasza more than I already have. Every book she writes grabs me in and doesn't let go until I run out of story. And even then . . . I cannot forget the people in her books. They are real people to me now and I will never stop reading what she writes because it is just that good.

Okay. Now about this book. I kind of got my mad on towards the middle of this book when Mace and Gabbs father had to interact. Typical man behavior and so frustrating. One honorable in excess and the other a total sleaze bag. Sorry but he was. And I don't usually send up a mental cheer at certain actions in a book (can't tell because it would spoil and I don't want to be a spoiler). I admit I have certain biases and strong emotional reactions to some situations and sleaze bag hit some (maybe a lot) of those buttons.

I loved the ending of this book and the sneak peak at the next one. I will be anxiously, and hopefully, patiently waiting for the next book.

Well, thanks to Ms. Waters I am now more in love with Mace than I was before. He has always been my favorite SEAL in this series, this book just sealed my love for him!!! Or maybe my love is misguided, and should be shot straight at Ms. Waters. Her writing astounds me every time I read her work, the way she writes just amazes me. The things she comes up with, the dialogue, the feelings and depth of her characters can't be out done! Natasza Waters is one of the best authors around....BAR NONE!

I do have to say in all honesty, Ms. Waters is one of my BFF's, but she also knows that I won't blow smoke up her ass with flowery words if I don't mean them. Even before we became such wonderful friends and I read "Too Grand For Words", her talent blew me away. If her and I were for some reason no longer friends, I would still read every word she writes!

If you haven't given Natasza Waters a chance, please do, you won't be sorry!!!

I'd forgotten just how much I adored Nina and Mace's story, so hot and real and intense on the feels.

Mace is all alpha delicious with how he loves on his girls and how he risks everything for them. Nina is amazing with her devotion and loyalty and heart.

Loved how family was shown, and how family is built.

Happy sigh, and I'm moving onto the next....

Code Name Nina's Choice has easily become another one of my top favorite military romance books!! So far, Natasza Waters has rocked each one of her Warrior's Challenge books and I have faith she won't stop throughout the rest of the series! Her books definitely have a more realistic feel to them (which is such a welcome change from fiction, and yet sometimes is laughingly annoying how real it is! I love the contrast!)

CNNC has a different feel from the first two books. The first two had more action adventure - this one dealt with more relationships and the challenges both the warriors and their families/loved ones face when trying to build those relationships. Although there is some fun adventure mixed in towards the end (and if you listen to her playlist for this book (http://voicebetweenthelines.com/music...), I was totally hearing the US Navy Tribute song as the soundtrack during the action scenes!) I enjoyed getting to meet back up with Thane and Kayla as well as get to know Tinman better (EEK! I am already falling in love with Tinman and am so excited that his book is next and it should be here soon!!!)

Nina impressed me with her unwavering faith and devotion to Mace. Mace impressed me with his strength and stubbornness and love for Nina and her daughter Gabriella. I could feel the tight-knit brotherhood between the SEAL team and appreciated seeing just how deep their love for each other ran.

If you like military stories that have more grit and depth and real to them, if you like romance, and if you like action you will enjoy this series! I definitely recommend it!!

If you’ve read the first two books you were entranced under the command of sexy Petty Officer Mace Callahan who is a Navy SEAL. When I saw his cover – I fell in lust all over again.

Mace is the kind of guy you want to have your back whether out on a mission or as a friend. When Mace is hurt on a mission it kinda throws him out of whack. He’s not used to being the one that needs help and it puts a wee bit of a dent in his self esteem.

Nina Samson, is the best friend of Kayla (from the first book) and also from Canada but she is now working as an analyst at Coronado Base Command. She’s also a single mom and her and Mace were just at the very beginning stages of a relationship when he was hurt. Mace avoids her when he is in Germany but once he comes back to Coronado she isn’t going to let him get away with pushing her away or with letting him feel sorry for himself.

Its not long before these two are steaming up the sheets. As this book interlinks timely wise with the first two there are some overlapping plots that now we are seeing from Nina and Mace’s POV. Plenty of romance and suspense to keep you turning the pages.

What a deserving third installment of Natasza Waters' Warrior's Challenge series! I always thought Mace and Nina belonged to each other and I couldn't be happier seeing their relationship flourish. What makes Code Name: Nina's Choice an even more amazing book is that it has action, suspense, romance and humor all in one. I will definitely recommend this book to my friends. Bravo!

I always somehow manage to get books and read them out of order, This one has been no exception, it grabbed my attention and kept me glued to the pages. I did not feel as I was missing out on a whole lot of back story. I won this book and wow I feel as if I have found a new go to author. Now I will read the first two books in the series.

I was given Code Name: Nina’s Choice for an honest review by Manic Readers

Mace Callahan is very much in-love with Nina Samson and wants to be her guy and the father of her 8 year old little girl. But with every little thing that falls in their path he throws up road blocks and can’t seem to stop himself.

Nina Samson love Mace with everything that she has and when he comes home injured she will do or sacrifice anything to make him better. Even recruit his best friend to make IT happen, including letting him go to another woman. But just when things start working and the world is going in the right direction a blast from her past threatens her future with Mace and the life of her daughter. I would not blame her for giving up and counting her losses but her determination, courage and love keep her fighting the good fight for their future.

I am really glad that Mace finally pulled his head out of his ass and got it together because for a while there I thought that the lying baby daddy was going to do something stupid, oh wait he did do something stupid only to get his sorry butt kicked.

I love everything from the back story to the steamy bedroom scenes and as I have already ready Code Name: Luminous I was really glad to see how Tony and Lumin met. Most of all I really love the authenticity of the characters that makes them seem so life like, Natasza put a lot of detail into everyone of her characters, you can just tell she put a lot of thought into them.

I am so reading the other books in A Warrior’s Challenge series, Natasza is an amazing writing. I told my Navy daughter, who is stationed in Coronado that about this series and how it portrayed Naval men as horn-dogs and she said that it was true they were and I about dies laughing before reminding her to be safe.

As if the cover isn't enough to suck you in! Matthieu Gondin's eyes drawing you in does it make it hard to turn the page to start the book, I just wanted to drown in his eyes a while, LOL.

*spoiler alert*

Thank you Natasza for not making this a cliff hanger! I could have rung her neck when I finished reading Code Name: Ghost :) The ending of Code Name: Nina's Choice was an enticing OMG I have to read the next one without the I'm gonna kill the author ending, or non ending as the case maybe, LOL.

*spoiler alert over*

Mace is a doll, generous, compassionate, loving and fiercely loyal. He's a SEAL so of course he is. Nina is everything and more a mother could be besides being the perfect mate for a stubborn wounded 'I'll never be a man again' SEAL. You know Mace is going down.

As if that wasn't enough! Add in the shock of Gabbs' biological father showing up causing this wounded, honor bound SEAL to step back to allow Nina and Gabbs the chance to see if they could form a family with him and all kinds of hurting is going on.

THEN, then, add in the mafia, a Vegas showgirl, AWOL SEALs and Holy Seaweed the story gets exciting!

I have to say that I loved Code Name: Ghost despite the cliffhanger, Code Name: Kayla's Fire though Kayla needed her a** kicked, but Code Name: Nina's Choice is better than both of them! This is one of those stories that won't get out of your head.

From this woman's Navy to the Canadian Coasty author, Hooyah! Thank you for portraying the SEAL's in all their honor, loyalty and integrity.

I don't usually read romance novels mainly because they all have the same premise. This book took tension and conflict to a whole new level. I was reading until 4am as I read the last few chapters. The intrigue and suspense had me captivated. I think where the book left me flat was the unbelievable characters.

Nina's Choice is the third book in a series and at first I felt like I walked in mid-story since I haven't read the first two books. I wasn't sure this book could be read as a stand alone. It can be but it might have been helpful to have read the first two. I can't know for sure unless I read them. Having said that, the excerpt from the next book - Code Name: Luminous - left me anxious to read the next in the series. And perhaps I will have a chance to go back and read the first two.

Having been an officer with the Coast Guard, Natasza Waters is knowledgeable on the workings of the military and it showed in her writing. This kind of experience made the story different from any other romance novels I've read adding interest and intrigue.

Not as intense as Ghost and Kayla's story expect in the end but still a great read.

I really loved Mace, he is such a sweetheart, ready to help, very loyal but still alpha male and dangerous sniper for Team Alpha. That's why at times he kind of disappointed me in his decision not to fight for Nina, to stay in her life and prove her his love. He backed down two times too many and I wanted to shake him and hit him!!
As for Nina, we didn't learn a lot about her in the previous books and she was definitely full of surprises. Her abilities and spirit were off the chart and totally fitting in the SEAL world of badasses. She is also a dedicated mother and try to do her best in every situation. She was kind of perfect to be honest :)

I loved reading their story and can't wait for Tinman's, already per-ordered it!!!

suspense and romance

As with all the stories by Ms. Waters, I read this one in almost one sitting. Romance mixed with suspense at it's best. Loved the way the story unfolded with quite a few twists. I can't really tell what part was my fave. Nina's courage and loyalty, her being a good mother, her sweet spunky daughter Gabriella, Mace being so honourable and brave, and yummy, all in the SEAL family who live by a unshakeable code of loyalty who take each member's well being very seriously, the humour shared by the team mates... all these make this book exceptional. My heart was in my throat reading the suspenseful parts, but the happy ending made it all worth it. Another great read I recommend with 5 stars.

Natasza Waters has written another gripping tale in the Warrior's Challenge series. Sweet and sexy Navy SEAL sniper Mace Callahan has his laser-like sights set on the lovely Nina. When Mace is injured on a mission, Nina steps forward to fight for their love; suddenly another man turns his attention on Nina, and Mace must wage war for her heart.

Let me say I adore Mace; such a sweet, sexy and noble guy. His heart is always in the right place. Nina is spunky and sexy, a perfect match for our SEAL. This book is paced with emotion, humor, action, and red-hot romance; not to mention an amazing twist. Fans of Suzanne Brockmann will love Ms. Waters' hunky SEAL team. A highly recommended read!

5 stars for the book trailer as well. My heart broke for Mace in this book. As in all the Warrior Challenge books I love these characters the interaction. I am right there in the book with them. Of course on the side lines but I'm there.
Tinman what a friend - you must read all the Warrior Challenge books. There is love - not only love of a man and a woman but the love of true friendship and that friendship will do what ever it takes to help the other. I love the interaction between the team. These books will truly have you sitting on the edge of your seat. Thanks for these books!

As the story progressed, it got really interesting. But I did not like the character of Nina. I thought she was too pushy and too possessive of Mace. After seeing each other for two weeks, she was ready to marry him.

Navy SEAL Mace Callahan was a typical bachelor until he met Nina Samson and realized she was the one. Then he met her adorable daughter Gabriella and that cinched the deal. Gabriella’s father entered the picture and brought trouble. He owed a lot of money to a drug kingpin and the way to get it was to kidnap Gabriella and get the money from Nina’s wealthy parents. But he didn’t figure on Mace and the rest of the SEAL team.

A good book loved it. the only thing I would change about the book was the spacing between where the characters change. I often found myself reading from a certain characters POV then when I get three or four sentences in I found out I was reading from a totally different character POV. it was confusing at times. That would be the only thing I'd change other than that I loved the story line. Loved how it didn't start from where the last book ended. we got some back story from different POV's. I hope youu guys enjoy the book as much as I did.

This was an excellent book 3 of the series I couldn't put it down once I started to read it. The danger and action kept me on the edge of my seat. I can't wait for book 4 so I can continue to learn the story of the men of Navy SEALS Alpha Squad, and the woman who own their hearts. For the full benefit and understanding it is a must to start this series with book 1. Natasza is one of my favorite authors, the way she weaves the danger and mystery along with the lives of the characters gives the story the ability to draw you into it.

This was the best book of the series... so far

I will pre order Book Four. the action in Nina's Choice is convincing and gripping. I love how the team pulls together for each other. They do seem like a family.
The characters are more realistic, and less strained than in book two. One PO Callahan needs a promotion

I'm glad book four is about Lumina.. I knew she was going to be special.
