The genre of A Princess Can! to me seems to be fantasy because all of the characters are princesses. The story goes into difference scenarios of how each princess has a task at hand, and how she is reminded that she can do it, which is the theme of the book. I rated this book three stars because it portrays a good message and is helpful for beginners.
Cute idea. The book is really short as expected but it's not about just one princess but three. Each of their stories is only a couple of pages. They could have split them up and written three separate really short stories that would have accomplished the same thing but still been enjoyable for young children beginning to read.
Natalie read this well and I liked the message, which is a big depature from the previous stories focusing on brides, love, and animals. Mirida playing sports and Tiana running her business, both great.
For a 1st reader book, this one is surprisingly pleasant for the adult listening. It's 3 very short stories, all with the idea that persistence prevails.
Three short stories about Disney princess are featured in this easy reader. Each story is fast and shows the princess trying to accomplish a task she thought she couldn't. toddler and up
